Eating The Heart

Ron was blankly watching the thing in front of him. This was not the chicken legs that he wanted. It was far from being the chicken legs.

" Mom... Where's my chicken legs? " Ron asked Daisy who was happily eating the wings of the fallen phoenix.

" You can eat the legs later sweetie, you have to eat that first. "

Ron looked in front of him, it was not the chicken legs but the whole gigantic and raw heart of the phoenix. The heart was bigger than him!

Ron wanted to cry, everyone was bullying him this days! How can Ron eat something this big and it was raw too!

" But Mom! It's too big! I won't be able to finish it! "

" That's what the pill is for Ron, it is a Devouring Pill which will make you able to eat something bigger than you and you wouldn't suffer anything from eating something that big. "

Ron looked at the pill and water that was beside the raw heart. The heart was still drooping some blood but it was filled with mana.

" But Mom! Why is it raw! Can't you cook it? "

Ron said as he poked the heart, each time he poked it blood would come out. It was like it had an endless amount of blood inside.

" Sadly Young Master, we can't cook it as the mana inside the heart will go out. It would be such a waste of mana. "

" Ehhhh~ but i want chicken legs! "

" Ron! I would give you some cookies to eat if you finish that. "

Daisy had been thinking why there was a fallen chair in the kitchen then she saw the cookies that was in a high place and Ron who shot the phoenix.

She figured out that Ron had tried to get some cookies but he gave up and shot the phoenix instead.

Poor phoenix would have lived if Ron got that cookies.

It was the Chef's fault the Phoenix died!

If the Phoenix knew this, it would've cursed the Chef before it died.

"Really Mom? You promise me that! "

Ron excitedly drank the Devouring Pill and looked and grabbed his utensils only to grab nothing.

" Mom, where's my fork and knife? "

There was no fork in knife in front of Ron.

" You have to eat it by hand Ron and you have to do it fast or no cookies for you. You have to eat it in 1 minute or no cookies. "

Daisy was threatening Ron with the cookies!

' Mom is bullying me! Everyone is bullying me! '

"Yes Young Master, you have to eat it fast or the mana inside the heart will run out and it would be such a waste for that to happen. "

The heart of a phoenix was very valuable as it would nurture the body of the one who eats it. It had a tremendous effect that it would allow a weak and disabled person to have an athletic body instantly with their disability cured.

But they have to eat the gigantic heart whole, if there was a side effect then that was it. The Devouring pill was also very expensive.

Ron grabbed the gigantic heart, it was very heavy and big that it made Ron gulp in fear.

' Can I really eat this? '

Ron firstly smelled the heart, what you smell is what you taste. That was what Ron believed in most of the edible things he eat.

It didn't smell bad, it didn't smell that good either.

Ron licked the heart for a first taste. He was not able to taste anything.

Everyone around just watched Ron try to eat the heart, they were holding their laughter as Ron nervously tried to eat the heart.

They had an equipment that would preserve the mana inside the heart even if it was cut into pieces but Daisy wanted to see Ron try eat something this big.

In other words, Daisy was bullying Ron!

It was to punish him trying to get some cookies without her permission! How dare a child steal some cookies!

Ron opened his mouth wide and bit into the heart. He closed his eyes and forcefully chewed.

Then his eyes opened wide.

' Hey! It's not bad! '

In contrast to its appearance, the heart tasted very good. Because of this Ron excitedly took another bite.

Everyone had their mouths open as Ron finished the heart in less than 30 seconds. Ron finished eating something bigger than him in less than 30 seconds! Imagine how fast he ate!

"Hey, are those hearts delicious? " Daisy asked the chef.

" I don't know Madam as this is the first time I saw a Phoenix heart and I never tasted it too. "

" Look at how my baby swallow that thing very fast. You should have left me some. "

" I'm sorry Madam, if I knew that the heart would be so delicious I would've left you some. "

Everyone was jealous of Ron who was happily eating the heart. It looked like Ron didn't need to chew that much and the heart was very soft as he chewed just once or twice before swallowing.

Each time Ron bit the heart and swallowed, everyone also swallowed saliva as they salivate on the heart that Ron was eating.

Daisy looked at the wings in front of here, it was only a part as the phoenix was too big but it didn't look as appetizing as the heart Ron was eating.

' Eh, whatever! As long as my child is happy. '
