No One in This World Can Stop Me

*Booommm!!!*

A strong force crashed relentlessly against every corner of Guo Yi's body.

That was the first wave…

Then came the second…

Then many more…

The pain was unspeakable, and right when he was about to give way, a calm suddenly descended upon him as blissful rain seemingly fell on his parched body.

"It worked!" Guo Yi let out a deep breath.

All around his body were layers of black grime. They were the toxins that his body had gotten rid of after his breakthrough. Guo Yi stood up and his body felt many times lighter. He was brimming with power, and in his eyes, the mountain could barely withstand a flick of his finger.

Guo Yi looked up into the heavens and said, "No one in this world can stop me!"

Without him realizing, three days had passed.

The spiritual energies on Baizhang Peak were now even more potent as the energies that converged there did not go away. Over at the peak, clouds and mists roiled with the essence of the divine. Guo Yi smiled because the place was indeed an amazing spiritual energy vein. Hidden far beneath the mountains were even more potent spiritual energies, and if he had not gathered all of them there, they would not have taken shape.

By the time he got down the peak, it was the evening of the third day.

Just as Guo Yi arrived at the entrance of the small district, he saw a black Audi, the old A6 model, with a white car plate and a military district pass stuck on it.

Tang Ru had personally come to pick Guo Yi up, but she had not been able to locate him since morning. While the April temperature was mild, the person waiting was in a hurry and was naturally agitated as beads of sweat formed on her face.

"That a**hole calls himself a master yet he has no sense of obligation." Tang Ru bit her lips, clearly frustrated. She was cute even when she was pouting.

Her short skirt wrapped around her ample rear as her blouse emphasized her slim waist. Her sexy outfit had passersby looking at her.

Tang Ru was pissed, but she could not find anyone to unleash it on.

Guo Yi totally had no impression of Tang Ru as he walked passed her car.

"Hey, you!" Her eyes lit up as she chased Guo Yi and held him by the shoulder. "You're… Master Guo."

Guo Yi gently shrugged, and Tang Ru took a few steps back.

"What's the matter?" Guo Yi's gaze was contemptuous.

Tang Ru was taken aback. She was a graduate of the military academy and was well-versed in the art of combat. She even held black belts in taekwondo and karate-do, yet she was not able to fight back earlier.

"I…" Tang Ru panicked. "Didn't you ask to look for you to extend my grandfather's life?"

Guo Yi was perplexed. "Where is he, then?"

"He's a patient for goodness sake, of course, I'm taking you to him!" Tang Ru quickly added.

"Hmph!" Guo Yi simply turned and left.

"What's the meaning of this?!"

She was a scion of the Tang Family, a very influential family. In Jiangnan, every Tom, Dick, and Harry followed the Tangs like an obedient dog. This youngster over here… He did not know his place. Tang Ru, on the other hand, was a person who had been doted on since young, with many people chasing her after. Not once had she ever been treated like that before.

Guo Yi had no intention of turning back, and looking at his disappearing visage, tears welled up in Tang Ru's eyes.

"You jerk! You a**hole!" She spat.

Fate.

Fate was not something you could ask for or seek. Some people took it for granted. Guo Yi's nature meant that he did not align himself to anyone and was not enchanted by wealth or power. In the end, it was all up to his mood. He had given them a chance, so it was up to them if they did not want to appreciate it.

So what if the Tang Family was great? Guo Yi could simply vaporize all of them with a flick of his finger.

If it was all about power and wealth, with Guo Yi's strength and abilities, creating an empire within a year was not out of his reach.

He had no need to snatch, no need to grab, no need to align himself to anyone, and no need for affection…

That was the way of those on the path of divinity.

While he was on his way back, Chen Anqi stood by the door, all fidgety.

Guo Yi said that he would be back after three days, and it had been three days, yet there was no sign of him.

"Little Yi." Chen Anqi's eyes lit up the moment she saw him.

"Sorry, I made you worry." Guo Yi was apologetic.

"It's fine if nothing's happened!" Chen Anqi was relieved. She had been waiting day and night for the past three days, fearing that something may have happened to Guo Yi.

"I'll prepare dinner," Chen Anqi said.

"Okay." Guo Yi nodded. "I haven't eaten your food for a good while now."

Many things had changed in the past eight years.

Eight years ago, her cooking skills were already good, so who knew how it was now.

Dinner was sumptuous.

"Little Yi, what plans do you have now that you're back?" Chen Anqi asked.

"Revenge!" Guo Yi spat out one single word.

Revenge was something Guo Yi dared not forget. For the past eight years, the thing that he wanted the most was revenge. Now that he had returned and broken through the Qihua state, how could he not plot his revenge?

Chen Anqi looked worriedly at Guo Yi as his negative aura overflowed. His killing intent was apparent. She was afraid that he would do something rash.

"Revenge isn't something you can get in a day," she said with worry.

"Yeah." Guo Yi nodded grimly.

For him, killing was just a means to an end, but what of it even if he were to kill everyone alive? If it meant that he could bring his mother back, he would kill every single member of the Liu, the Chen and the Li Family. Yet, what good would killing them bring?

Therefore, Guo Yi wanted them to lose it all, their loved ones, their home, their careers, their everything…

His thirst for vengeance was deep as the killing intent roiled in him constantly.

"How about… we get you a job and let you settle down first?" Chen Anqi said.

Guo Yi looked at Chen Anqi as he said, "Sis Chen, you should know that I don't like to be tied down."

Chen Anqi kept quiet.

"Don't worry, I'll earn a living myself," Guo Yi added.

"No!" Chen Anqi shook her head and said, "You don't have to worry about money. I can raise you for the rest of your life."

Guo Yi looked into Chen Anqi's eyes. They were still as beautiful, still as lovely. "Sis Chen. I've told you before, I'll make you wealthy and influential. I will protect you for the rest of your life!" Guo Yi exclaimed.

*Badump…*

Chen Anqi smiled, and it was beautiful. "The fact that you have such thought already makes me really happy."

Women were emotional beings, and sometimes, a man's word could get them to do anything. Chen Anqi was a woman, and Guo Yi's words had a similar effect on her.

"Sleep early, then!" she reminded him.

It was night, and it was dark.

Guo Yi lay on his bed, unable to fall asleep.

He had almost forgotten that he still needed money in this world. For the past eight years, he had not touched any currency and lost the concept of money. Guo Yi was a man without worldly desires as he pursued the Great Path. Since money was just a material item in his eyes, it was as good as manure to him.

However, he was now back in his original world and back in his original life, so he needed money!

While Guo Yi may not have had a penny to his name and there were plenty of ways to make money, he still needed to adhere to his righteous principles.
