The pack crested a hill overlooking the rogue camp just a quarter of a mile away. The camp was, naturally, up in arms. Wolves ran about in human or wolf form. They were all attempting to form some sort of battle line, though it was clearly disorganized.

Because rogues were taught to listen to their leader, but otherwise do whatever they wanted, there was no real unified military training. Ada and a few others she had met along the way had done their best to make sure their own training was better than the other rogues. Ada also had the benefit of training with the pack wolves for a few months. She had learned better tactics.

As the sea of fur led by four nude humans descended the hill, howls of battle rang out through the forest. Rogues charged at the army blindly and were quickly cut down.

Though the pack wolves were clearly eager to get their teeth on the rogues, they remained in their formations. Loyalty was strong in the packs, and although some of the wolves had betrayed them, they remained unified and resolute. They were here for their Aloha and Luna. Nothing was going to stop them. Not even the former Beta, who came into view leading those that had left with him, and flanked on either side by the two remaining leaders. Kyle, and a Male wolf that Ada didn't know.

They came to a stop at the edge of the camp, no more than twenty feet between the two groups.

"Do you really think you can win this fight?" Asked the Male wolf that Ada didn't know. She was not sure they could, but she let a wry grin come to her face.

"Of course. Your wolves could not even kill one wolf. Qhat makes you think they can kill an army?" She asked. The beta grinned.

"You act tough, but I can see how tired and injured you are. You'll not survive this battle. I'll make sure of it." He threatened. Jessie, Zack and Vincent all growled but Ada chuckled in dry humor.

"You'll have to get past your over inflated ego first." She countered. More growling, then a howl from the back of the rogue group and the former Beta kept forward. Jessie leapt forward and caught the man mid-turn.

The area descended into chaos. Ada was too injured to shift, so she fought as she was, with Zack and Vincent fighting by her side. She was slower, but she could still see the attacks coming. A wolf came from the left and was tackled from two sides to the ground before it got close. Another tried to jump over the wolves, but one paw was grabbed from below and it was pulled down into the mass of fur.

"You can't win this battle Ada!" Kyle yelled over the throng. Ada ignored him. Instead she started to walk forward. Her army moved with her. A few of her pack mates had gone down, but everyone was still fighting. Ada could see that moral was high with her forces, and wavering on the other side. Some rogues were already splitting off and vanishing into the forest.

The leaders were clearly losing their forces, but they were still fighting. Taking down what wolves they could, Kyle realized that they were not going to win. In order to gain an upper hand, Kyle split off and ran back into the camp.

The final leader charged in, his large form knocking aside the wolves blocking his way. He was headed straight for Ada, and she knew she was not ready. Taking a few steps back, Ada had to drop to the ground as he lunged at her. Zack launched himself at the leader as Vincent rushed to Ada and stood over her to protect her.

While she knew that Zack was a good fighter, she feared that he might not be enough to bring the leader down. They were no Alphas, but they were still strong and Ada knew that Zack alone could not bring him down.

Mustering up as much of her strength as she could, Ada slipped out from under Vincent and threw herself at the leader. She had fought him off guard, latching onto his back with her dull weight to drag him down. Zack and the leader were both surprised, but Zack recovered quicker and dove at the leader. Vincent, not about to let his mate get hurt because of her own inability to stay put, dove in as well.

Ada was dragged across the forest floor before she was thrown, but before the leader could turn on her and end it, Zack and Vincent both sunk their teeth into him. Zack was tearing at one front leg while Vincent ripped into the male's neck. The leader fought back, fighting desperately for his life against wolves he had underestimated. Ada had trained them well, and the rogues attack had put the fires of rage inside each of them.

"We have to go after Kyle!" Ada told the others. She was about to turn and lead the charge after Kyle, but she heard a Yelp from a wolf voice that she knew well. Her head snapped around in time to see the former beta of her new pack slam Jessie into the ground. He was going to kill Jessie.

Time seemed to slow down for her in that moment. Her eyes were wide as she watched the beta bare his teeth and his eyes went wide in antisipation for the final bite. Ada didn't hesitate.

She sprang forward, leaping over or dodging around wolves. As she went, Vincent and Zack spun and went after her. Just as the Beta touched his teeth to Jessie's fur, Ada slammed her body into the beta. This sent the both of them tumbling to the ground in a heap of fur and limbs.

Before he even had time to recover, Zack was on top of the beta. Vincent went to Jessie to help him up. Zack and the beta scuffles on the ground before the beta threw him. Ada dove in quickly, once more taking the beta by surprise.

She had latched onto him, her teeth sunk into his throat. Her human teeth could not get through the thick fur and hide of the wolf. However, she simply clamped her teeth around his wind pipe.

The beta thrashed and clawed at her, but she remained in place. The more he thrashed, the worse it got for him as his supply of air ran out. He staggered and toppled over. Ada let him go, but took that moment to grab his head and snap it around to the side, breaking his neck.
