Just above the little s**t's chest was an all too familiar crack in the air.
'If I have two of these things, I can figure out more things with them' He thought, reaching through.
The pressure on his mind was significantly less this time. As he grasped the object on the other side, he noticed it was much smaller than Salem's. Pulling out his hand, he saw a smaller, less luminescent red orb. It occured to him that he could probably eat it like Stardust did.
As soon as the thought crossed his mind, he felt the energy from the orb pass through his hand and into his body. After about two seconds, only the core was left. The core was then absorbed shortly after.
Wondering if that would make him stronger, he continued walking home, as if he had not just killed a man.
As he walked home, he saw auras around people that were different colours and sizes. Curious to see if Stardust had the same aura, he glanced at Stardust.
Stardust was wreathed in a massive blazing violet aura that moved like flame.
'Looks like the stronger an aura, the more powerful.' He thought to himself. 'But what do the colours mean?'
It occured to him that he should be able to observe his own aura. Looking down, he gazed with fascination at the beautiful orange aura that moved like water around him. It wasn't big like Stardust's, but it wasn't small like an ordinary person's.

Callum decided to visit Salem's grave one last time before he completely moved on in his life.
The graveyard was a three-minute detour from his house, so it didn't take too long to get there.
Arriving at the graveyard, Callum saw row after row of cracks in the air. Each one was a colour of the rainbow and at a different level of clarity. Callum walked up to one of the most clearly defined cracks and read the tombstone.

Reaching into the turquoise crack, he pulled out an apple-sized, luminescent orb. Pocketing it, he moved to a less clealy defined crack that was blue. Reaching in, Callum felt a mental strain that was much higher than the green coloured ones. Whether it was from the clarity or the colour, Callum didn't know. Callum's hand pulled out an orb the size of a cereal bowl. It was slightly dimmer than Salem's, but it's colour was blue.
After pulling out that orb, Callum felt exhausted. Quickly making his way home, he passed out as soon as his head hit the bedsheets.
