Co-Grinding (Part 1)

JeanPierre walked out of the store, and looked around the marketplace, walking down the noisy street. We looked left and right, and stared at each other for a moment.

"So, what's our plan, JeanPierre?" I asked politely, looking down at the elf girl and her disproportionately sized greatsword.

"Hmm, well both of us are fairly low level, right? Why don't we grind in the nearby forest for a bit?" JeanPierre piped up, "It'll be good to level up a bit, especially if you're starting to do some higher level quests like I am!"

"Hmm, yeah that would be a pretty good idea wouldn't it? I heard that there's a good grinding spot nearby, and since there usually aren't many players in Tergaron, the spot should be pretty free," I said, pointing over to the eastern gate of Tergaron.

"Sounds like a good plan, let's go!" JeanPierre cheered, running off towards the east gate, me following close behind.

Once we had reached the east gate, we took a step outside the wall of the town and looked around the surrounding area. It was a flat, airy plains, with tall grasses swaying to and fro with the wind. Scattered across the plains were a few small groups of players, attacking Plainswolves and gathering loot. JeanPierre and I found a spot not too far from the gate, where 2 different Plainswolves spawned. We jogged over to the area, and came face to face with 2 Plainswolves.

I lured out the first one, and JeanPierre lured out the second one, as we faced off against the two adversaries. The Plainswolf snarled at me and bared it's powerful, sharp teeth at me. The Plainswolf charged at me, opening its jaw and biting into me. I propped open it's mouth with one of my daggers, and stabbed into it with the other. The Plainswolf forced out my dagger, and yelped in pain as it vigorously tried to cover up it's internal mouth wound. While it was attempting to recover, I activated [sneak] and [sneak attack], and attacked the Plainswolf while it was distracted, dealing critical damage to it!

The Plainswolf whimpered and fell onto the tall, soft grass, and slowly dissipated into dust.

"Hey, these gauntlets aren't too bad, and they kind of match with my cloak, too. I'll go ahead and put them on, see how they fit!" I said to myself, slipping the gauntlets/wrist protectors onto my arm. They felt soft and comfortable on my forearm, and felt good to wield my daggers with.

"Oi, Terry, I just finished up killin me wolf. Did ya' get anythin' good?" JeanPierre shouted from across the field, waving over to me.

"Yeah, I did! I'll show it to you in a bit." I said, waiting for another Plainswolf to spawn.

After waiting for a minute or so, another Plainswolf appeared into existence, and bared it's teeth at me. The wolf aggroed onto me, and charged straight at me once again. I swiftly dodged the attack, and caressed the wolf with my daggers, leaving a massive gash in its side. It whimpered and fell to the side. It slowly got back up, and ran at me, biting into my leg. I gasped at the pain, and stabbed both my daggers into the wolf's canine skull. The Plainswolf died instantly.

"Eh, could be worse," I said to myself once again, waiting for another wolf to appear, "hmm, I should've picked up a task or something for this… oh well." I sat down on the grass and waited, twiddling my thumbs idly.
