Chris ventured to the planet and soared towards the former capital of the Holy Republic. However, upon arrival, he was greeted by a heartbreaking sight—the once magnificent city had been reduced to ruins. Chris landed in the midst of the devastated city, where a shattered statue stood as a grim reminder of its former glory.
Chris, awestruck, exclaimed, "Wow! Fifty years ago, this place was teeming with life and beauty. But now..."
Undeterred by the desolation, Chris made his way towards the location where the church once stood and cautiously entered the dilapidated structure. Memories of the priest flooded his mind, though he knew that the passage of time likely meant the priest had long since passed away.
Chris murmured, his voice filled with sadness, "There's nothing left. Everything has been destroyed. What a sorrowful day."
Unexpectedly, a system interjected, "Well, it's partially your fault that the Holy Republic collapsed. The monsters attacked the farms, among other reasons."
Chris retorted, "Okay, I know that, but I didn't ask for your input."
Determined to move forward, Chris walked towards the weapon shop, reminiscing about the day he purchased his first weapon. The system piped up once again, questioning, "Are you planning to go hunting?"
Chris nodded and replied, "Yes, I am. But first, I need to travel to another city and register at the Adventures Guild."
Acknowledging his plan, the system simply responded, "Okay."
Curious about the distance to the next city, Chris inquired, "System, how far am I from the nearest city?"
The system promptly answered, "It's approximately 13.5 miles to the next city, assuming you ride something faster, like a horse."
Chris considered his options and declared, "Alright, then let me conjure a striking horse."
In his mind, he envisioned a sleek black horse with crimson-colored hair and fiery red eyes.
Satisfied with his creation, Chris exclaimed, "Let's head to the next city, riding this magnificent creature."
