Chapter 3

In Lilly Courtyard, Li Xiu Ying sat patiently sipping tea, there were guards placed outside of the courtyard, to keep her in. She felt the familiar presence of Li Na flying towards the courtyard, "Princess, I have brought your sword, and the queen is leading the tribe into the woods to avoid detection." Li Na landed beside Li Xiu Ying and handed over her sword.

"That is smart of her," Li Xiu Ying commented. "Li Jie, Li Na, I am going to turn you into your human forms. It is best if you can protect me, in human forms." She picked up her dager and pulled it across her wrist and dripped her blood into the teapot. Li Na handed her a piece of cloth to wrap her wrist using her claw. After wrapping her wrist she poured the bloody tea into two clean cups, "Li Jie, come out and drink."

Li Jie came out of her jacket into the room, "I don't want to. I know what you are planning, you are going to get me back for that joke I played." Li Na stared at him in a question.

"What? Me? I would never," Li Xiu Ying laughed. "You must change into your human form." Li Xiu Ying stared at him in the eyes pleadingly, she then placed the cups in front of Li Na and Li Jie, "drink up."

"Yes Princess," they answered in unison before dipping their heads down to drink. The more they drank the brighter they began to glow. "Princess it is working," Li Na in an affirming tone. They stood up and their bodies were enshrouded with a brighter blue light, after five minutes the light slowly dimmed revealing to beautiful figures.

Li Na stood in an ice blue dress with long wispy sleeves making her look immortal. Her yellow eyes were as bright as the midday sun, but as sharp as Li Xiu Ying's blade. The midnight blue hair that hung to her waist sayed as she examined her body. "Princess, it seems that you have gotten more powerful. You brought back our original human bodies."

"Say that for yourself," cried Li Jie. "I feel this body is weaker than my original." Li Jie stood dressed in dark blue, his white hair was tied back, falling gracefully behind his back. He looked his body up and down and stared at Li Xiu Ying with his demonic yellow eyes.

"You know I must say Li Na, you look as pretty as a fairy, while Li Jie looks like a demon," Li Xiu Ying said in a joking manner.

Li Jie stared at the floor dissatisfied with her comment, "I am as handsome as a fairy,ok." He sat down as he pouted, in the corner.

Li Na's laughing face turned serious, "Princess, what is your plan concerning the situation? How are we to act?" Li Jie perked up as Li Na asked her questions.

"I say we torture the answer's out of pretty boy," commented Li Jie very serious. He looked in Li Xiu Ying's direction waiting on her commentary, just to notice that she was staring into her teacup. "Princess? Does it hurt again? I can suppress the pain longer until we get the remaining ingredients for your antidote," stared Li Jie.

Li Xiu Ying picked up her teacup and took a sip, "I am fine. I was just thinking, we should go along with this Emperor and find out what he knows about the traitor.

Zang Wei Jian paced around the imperial study, listening to the Captain's report. "So she had a hand in the annihilation of the Centaurea Clan and she travels with both the Ice Phoenix and Ice Fox, interesting. What else did you find out while you were traveling?"

"I also found out that she is like that man, she cannot die, or at least that is what she told me. She said "You cannot kill me even if you tried." Your Majesty does that mean that she is here to take revenge on you for that man," asked the Captain furratively.

"That is what I thought, but now I am thinking otherwise. She has showed no signs of wanting to retaliate against me, she seems rather calm. Miss Li has not harmed any of you on your way here, nor has she attacked me the two times that she saw me," explained Zang Wei Jian. He sat down behind the table and pulled out the scroll that was left by that man. "Maybe I should give this to her and see her reaction," he mumbled.

The Captain walked out of the study and pulled the guards to his side, "Protect the Emperor. This girl cannot be trusted." He then walked away lost in thought.
