Training part 8.

A little time before. Riel was looking on with a smile as he saw what Ryuk was doing, but also suprised the dragon would trust him especially since it was not only hatching its young, but also because the dragon was from the wall dragon race. The wall dragon race used to be another race known for its powerful defence and camouflage abilities, but around 100,000 years ago the humans they had allied with had betrayed them and tried to take their scales and monster cores for themselves and to sew good relations with the beast god sect that had recently been born. Not only were they killed mercilessly some had their offspring stolen others were forcefully impregnated and made into egg dispensers. The race in an effort to survive had somehow managed to evolve and began to hide in the walls of countries. Within cracks and the such. They had managed to survive, but their hatred for humanity was deep they would brutally torture humans before they died then would use their souls as soul fire a brutal procedure, yet that same dragon was trusting in Ryuk suprised Riel. Suddenly he saw a girl moving towards Ryuk and as he saw her clothing his eyes went wide. As sect leader he knew all the core disciples yet had never seen this one then he remembered what patriarch Crystal said and his back went wet with cold sweat. He was planning to rush in and stop the girl considered his disciples Temper of total arrogance and stubbornness for what he decides on. As he tried moving he felt a suffocating aura behind and saw Patriarch Crystal Riels jaw hung loose and his hair rose. Riels anxiety and displeasure from interacting with Patriarch Crystal was so immense even his body would naturally react unfavourably. Riel got on his knees and said "Patriarch!"

Patriarch crystal slowly combed his beard and then said in an monotone voice "Let them meet. This will be good to not only make them realize their places, but also create a rivalry which will bring out their potential all the more."

This was true, but Patriarch Crystal also had another small ambition if he could make his disciple and Ryuk husband and wife he could steal Ryuk from Riel. It wasn't appropriate for him to do it considering Riel was not only the sect leader, he was an rebirth stage Cultivator and he was also somewhat the great master of Riel.

Riel was sweating he forgot about Ryuk completely and just wanted to stay away from this person.

Riel could almost hear Patriarch Crystal's interference throughout his life.

"I wish to be granted the river of Lightning to cultivate."

"Request denied."

"I wish to be allowed to accept a bride from the Sky empire."

"Request denied."

"I recently encountered a problem in my Cultivation may be I be exempted from handling..."

"Request denied."

Those were the three worst moments of the thousands. First the lighting river could have made his law more profound and even might have allowed for a breakthrough and even a path towards Rebirth realm. The bride from sky empire was not only a celestial beauty she had a body type that if a man interacted with her he would find his qi becoming more stable and pure. Riel had personally gone into a long time depression until one of the other Patriarchs in an attempt to quell Riel had accepted. The worst had absolutely been when he wasn't allowed a break from some secular matter with the other sects when he had a Cultivation problem. His Cultivation nearly went crazy and he nearly died to make matters worse he had eaten a pill to stabilize his qi, but the qi poison had nearly eaten his dantian away. Riel without a doubt hated Patriarch Crystal, but he couldn't help but sigh.

The reason Patriarch Crystal was like this was because of Riels master the former sect leader. The Patriarch had always dotted on his daughter because his wife had died while giving birth to her. He felt that the only way to respect his wife was to make sure his daughter lived a long time with no problems and thats what he did. If she wanted Cultivation pills or spirit weapons he bought her 10x what she asked for. Even still his daughter wasn't spoilt and fell in love with a simple outer sect disciple who was Riels master. The patriarch didn't accept of the relationship as not only was he weak he had no connections the patriarch himself wanted to marry her off to another sects junior patriarch or someone because even if his sect fell she would be safe, but she went behind his back and gave her virtue to Riels master. Riels master himself in an effort to prove himself to the patriarch beat all the heavens blessed and chosen in his generation and became the sect leader miraculously. The patriarch had barely given his acceptance. Things were fine then and his daughter even got pregnant. It was then that a bloodthirsty beast from another world had come and began to force the sects to their knees. It had killed the Patriarchs daughter to instill fear and break the sect leader who was basically the king of the sect. It was in a quick flash that the sect leader had lost his wife and child a flash of light clashed against the gradient and cut her head. Fury, despair and other powerful feelings flooded the sect leader and by some miracle he had managed to make a breakthrough nearly crossing over from mortality, but after killing the beast he didn't ascend instead he killed himself. The patriarch hated that the sect leader didn't protect his daughter even though he knew it wasn't his fault and he hated the fact that he killed himself it made him angry that he had given up instead of taking on his daughters and grandchild's wishes forward, but worse of all he hated himself how he couldn't save his daughter, his grandchild or his son.

This had all connected into his doing his best to make Riels life horrible, but again this was from his heart. He of course wanted to get his agitation out, but he also wanted Riel to not stay in the position which was so dangerous the one that made him lose his family. The patriarch was truly a sad individual one could only feel continuous sighs being released for.

The patriarch then saw Ryuk a talented individual who from what he saw seemed to be just like his son and daughter. He had his sons pride and stubbornness as well as his hard pressed ideals as well as his daughters intelligence, cunning and unwillingness to give up. Perhaps it was not only due to that, but the fact he was Riels disciple that he began to think of Ryuk as his grandchild. As Ryuk did better he couldn't help but feel a pleasant feeling pool in his hearts darkest corners. Thus we came to now.

He was fascinated at Ryuks formation talents and his power at even condensation stage. Then he saw the rock with the array and he felt that Ryuk was extremely talented and then he saw the heavens beam and there was no simplistic only absolute shock.

"Formation genius." Those words escapes his lips.

In Ryuk heard that he would feel that genius was being thrown around too easily. According to Black this attack was something that was as easy as cake to him. Ryuk had no doubts about that as he personally knew of Blacks talent not only due to Blacks prideful bragging, but also because he had seen some of his divine attacks. Ryuk was stunned that Black had incorporated formations, arrays and other similar studies into even his attacks and Cultivation in general and knew only talented people in the field could do that.

Ryuks attack fell causing fluctuations in the qi and causing the air to distort. He had truthfully developed this formation with the help of Black his own studies and other lower formations as a backdrop for his formation. He called it "Seraphim's horns." After all most of the data used to make it was from the angel race from their various formation arts, their power which Ryuk had seen and even the essence of nature synchronized to form it. In truth except for Black and a few others the formation, array and basically anything related to research was overwhelmingly dominated by the angels. Formations that Angels make are the most desired especially Seraphim's works.

Ryuk was actually shocked from what he heard Black say about the angels. They were cold, intelligent people who would interfere with countless natural things to gain favor. Many problems the Universes face not natural are due to them. They have mutated and forced certain organisms to do things and could only be called cruel. Of course Ryuk understood Black was a demon and obviously there was animosity which would blind his eyes, but the information was backed by what some accounts of angels say. The reason for this is angels are by nature weaker that demons and thus try and take as much as they can through knowledge and deceit. Supposedly angels would go to other realms and make it so that their race was considered a holy thing or good thing so that if any other race appeared they would be killed or atleast at a disadvantage.

The blood figure slammed his spear into the ground and his body collected the violent energy his spear dug into the ground to hold him up.

The figure broke like glass and the girl was stuck with the boundless energy, but before she got hit she angrily shouted and pulled out a jade, crushed it and teleported away.

Ryuk said as he sat back down with his arms crossed and eyes closed "Serves you right."
