A shocking first time.

Ryuk woke up soon there after with a killer headache and amnesia. He vaguely remembered small scenes from the large monument.

Ryuk said "What was I doing? I was drawing something... right?"

Within Ryuks soul his spirit guide was shaking its head and in total surprise and fear. It then made sure that all the Tao within Ryuk was stored as using it now wouldn't be the best. Of course it left a extremely minute speck in Ryuks soul, body and dantian. In comparison to the total value it wasn't worth anything , but against all rational sense it was heaven defying and earth rending.

Ryuk didn't know this, but felt a technique in his body for his soul, body and even Cultivation.

Without thinking much Ryuk used it and in a few moments he broke through to foundation 3. He was left in shock. He was now on total equal standing with Mooneye. Before he estimated to reach this stags it would take atleast a year, but now so quickly how could he not be happy.

Ryuk jumped up hitting his head on the roof of his house.

The changes were relatively not eye catching, but the fact was his qi in terms of purity, power and volume has basically rushed by miles and miles becoming extremely sublime and fearsome. Their was a glow around Ryuks body being steadily released going into every mistake in his body and repairing it and also releasing impurities. Foundation 3, 6 and 9 were considered main points in foundation where the most change and difference happened. Furthermore Ryuks entire body had also undergone a severe metamorphosis. A single blood cell had a density of a ocean and unbelievable potential. In fact even a drop of Ryuks blood could be counted as a supreme treasure, but because he has been steadily studying the 7 Primordial poisons his blood has become polluted and any other being using it is a good as death or atleast severe injuries.

Ryuk strutted out and began make his way to the forging division to learn the Mystical arts of forging.

Ryuk entered a large volcano on the side of Imperial Mountain.

He went through all the formalities similar to the Alchemist division. He was soon led into the room deep within the volcano where lava flowed violently everywhere, but this lava wasn't the ordinary kind it was filled with green glows and red sparkles, sprinkled with blue cinders. It was extremely strange and mystical.

Ryuk entered and saw a extremely buff woman with a beautiful tan. Even though she was large and buff her beauty couldn't be held back and even Ryuk who had seen beauties did a double take.

The woman noticed Ryuk and stopped slamming a hammer into a glowing substance on a Diamond Anvil.

She removed her goggles and gloves and said "So your the little precious old Riel wants me to take under my wing. Come, come. I heard that old bastard Qiwai boasting about you, but Ill tell you Compared to those research rats we are much more diligent and hard working."

She then poked the anvil causing it to shine and fall into the ground and then a new table appeared. On the table their were various articles and designs engraved on a stone plate.

The muscular woman said "Although we are more practically active than the alchemy Division we do still need the theory and understanding of the base structure. Here do you see this sword the crevean sword. We will build it today. I expect you to learn as much as you can. First study the design in detail and instead of looking at a sword look at it as bricks and your trying to construct a house. one by one. See these grooves you should do it separately as it's too difficult to meld at once. You must quench the sword once this part has been constructed. Here this part requires more force, but you see this segment in the middle needs less force."

Ryuk listened intently to the explanation.

Ryuk even cross-referenced the knowledge he had and nodded intermittently.

The forging division head without caring whether Ryuk understood or not pressed a button causing the table to sink away and a book rack to appear. She massages her chin and picked some books. She threw them to Ryuk and said "These are the basics study hard."

She then made the anvil reappear and told Ryuk to watch.

Ryuk said in his head "As expected forging is really more fundamentally crude than Alchemy. This haphazard way of teaching seems so inconsistent and useless, but in fact it's really good."

Ryuk concentrated heavily sending endless amounts of qi into his eyes to increase their efficiency and also using blue dream and myriad thoughts to occupy and understand everything.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

No longer was a woman present, but rather a river and a celestial being.

Ryuk cried blood tears and blood fell from his ears.

Ryuks knowledge seemed to randomly switch between all the knowledge he had Peering past the confines of the normal, synthetic, natural works. It was like a weird connect the dots.

Various images, experiences and thoughts flew around in his head.

A mix of Alchemy and forging, formation and forging, Alchemy forging and formation. Forging the body, forging the soul, forging the blood. Everything seemed to be connected as if everything bore existence from one singularity. The singularity seemed so murky and blurry, but Ryuk felt as if he could see past it all.

In that moment Ryuk bore witness to so many things.

When Ryuk was ripped out of the incantation in his mind he found new appreciation for forging, Alchemy, formation. He hadn't changed much. Of course he was smarter and wiser, but that wasn't the main point. Ryuk seemed to understand himself better. No longer in a self deprecating outlook on himself deep within, no anger or rejection towards the Universe. Ryuk deeply sighed and realized there was so much more to everything. Not in the sense of literal, but spiritual, philosophical and personal existence.

Ryuk whispered "I could feel my past life for a moment as if everything was connected, but regardless of who I was. I am Ryuk son of Ying Yue, disciple of Riel, father of Ryo."

Ryuk thought of something and his face darkened "I'm advancing quite quickly, but it's not enough at this speed... My soul upgraded extremely speedily according to normal calculations it should have taken 2 more years without any major occurrence. Is it Nothingness or is my fate with the Creator that's forcibly speeding up my advancing. Should I advance faster or slower. Either way I'm not confident... A creator... How dammed of a fate."

The division head finally stopped and seeing Ryuks state was shocked. Ryuk waved his hand and said it was of no mind.

Ryuk walked out and began to study like he did before in Alchemy.

The 2nd day and he had already begun his forging practices. Before Ryuk would have had an excited look, but now he was indifferent. Perhaps it was the heavy burden of the future or something else, but it would take a few days for Ryuk to feel like himself again.

Ryuk began with simple heating process. He spent some time to understand how to adjust to any mental. He didn't use his metal law, but used the practices of normal Forgers. He inspected the metal and did various observations and then set a specific heat and made the substance to forge. 98% was the chance of Ryuk getting the heat right on the first try. He only made a mistake with one metal. He then began to remove impurities and learning how to design combinations.

Days passed and Ryuk stayed in a forging chamber the whole time causing a bronze tan to form over his beautiful muscular, but lean body.

Ryuk quenched a sword he had and then threw it to the side causing a buzzing like song to fill the room.

The division head just now opened the door and found Ryuk making a new sword. She looked to the side and saw the mound of swords and said "Don't be dispirited about failing. This much isn't even considered alot."

Ryuk shook his head and said "I didn't fail. Those are all successful forges."

The division head was suprised and inspected the swords, shields, hammers, axes. She found each was a successful production and could even be said to be extremely well done. She channelled some of her qi into the tools and they all showed a clear indication of a good mixture allowing the materials used in production to give special attributes. This was just below spirit weapons which was a big surprise to her.

This level in a few days! It seemed inconceivable to her. Even her star pupil who she had trained since five and had even designed Cultivation techniques and laws extremely suitable for forging was worse than Ryuk. She doubted whether Ryuk really was a newbie.

Ryuk sighed and stopped the forging of the current sword and said "My spirit is exhausted Division head. I'll be going."

Ryuk collected all the swords to sell later and left.

The division head was stunned Ryuk seemed so uncaring of this great performance.

She said "Ryuk leave a sword behind for me to analyze."

Ryuk nodded and thew one out.

As he was leaving his expression sunk deeper and deeper. Turning into abstract despair. Ryuk was in deep contemplation of life and death and the worth of one in the grand scheme.

Ryuks mood suddenly came to a halt as he saw Mooneye enter and a playful aura filled him. He wanted to play a prank on the princess.

Ryuk rushed forward with a big and grand smile. Mooneye was looking at something else and was smiling slightly as if an extremely precious and excellent rose, but when she saw Ryuk running towards her her mood went a whole 360 and she began to run away from Ryuk.

Ryuk chased calling out "Best Friend! Best friend! It's me Ryuk! Mooneye if you do this people will get the wrong idea!"

Mooneye snorted and turned into a spark and dissapeared.

She appeared on a hill side a fair distance away and snarled "That punk! Why can't he leave me alone! Everytime I see him I seem to make a lose."

A blue flame appeared next to her and said "How rude little Moon your the one who engaged our relationship."

Mooneye went stiff and she said "What did you call me!"

Ryuk came out of the blue flame Saying "I really like that technique of yours thanks for showing it to me." Ryuk smiled and said "Little Moon."

Mooneye kept warping around and Ryuk kept chasing.

Finally with deep sighs and the dusk orange filling every corner Mooneye stopped facing a grand and large river that seemed to flow into the sun.

Mooneye screamed "You've been chasing me the whole day! Why?"

Ryuk chuckled sadly and said "I just wanted to get out of my head. I couldn't go to those I love because I don't want them to see me suffering so I chose you. My greatest enemy."

Mooneye was suprised her big eyes seemed to ripple as they met Ryuks. She for the first time saw Ryuk for more than a villain.

Ryuk sighed grimly and said "I've done you enough harm. I'll be off then."

Mooneye caught his hand and said "Well I don't mind listening to you."

Ryuk smiled gently and sat down. He said "The past few days were a bit of contemplation of my future and past. It's not that I hate living, but I just feel so lost. You know I read in books of heros who were abused by society time and time again, but didn't give in and eventually they became beloved, but I don't think I could handle that. In fact I couldn't. I would give in to the words they give me. I would be the monster they desired.

When I was young I always felt I could never lose, but even now after all the success and happiness I've got I can't help but fear I'm losing. My fate, the people I love, living. I feel so confused when I think of them.

I'm scared, im so scared of so many things. I'm so sad that tears of don't seem to go away drenching every experience. It's as if every happiness I make is to be taken away.

You probably don't understand, but theirs this burden on my shoulders and it's not that im scared of doing it, but I'm scared of what failing will do to those I love."

Mooneye heard Ryuks words and felt her heart shake. She felt sadness and empathy towards Ryuk and she could strangely relate almost every line. She looked at Ryuk who's face was solemn.

After Ryuk finished the two simply sat facing the sun set.

Why did Ryuk tell Mooneye this? Because Mooneye was the closest no one he knew. She was a nobody to him, but still the closest one.

As the stars emerged sparkling in the sea above Ryuk stood up. He said "Thank you for letting me get some stuff off my chest and letting me chase you."

Mooneye stood up aswell very fast. She felt vertigo and slipped on the rock she was standing on.

A hand draped around her back and caught her. A warm and muscular body pressed against her and the heated breath of a man fell upon her cheeks causing them to flush even more.

She looked up and saw Ryuks face. His eyes were two golden worlds that seemed to welcome anyone and his beautiful pink lips seemed so delectable to Mooneye.

Ryuk smiled showing two rows of Pearly white teeth and said "My, my Little Moon are you doing this purposely to attract your senior brother? Do know I Ryuk will always be welcoming of your advances and if you so please will... well you know the rest."

Mooneyes flushed face rose a shade and her eyes fizzled with lightning.

She laughed manically grabbing Ryuks collar and said "Of course I know what's next. Don't worry senior brother I do well please."

Ryuk was shocked and was about to comment.

Mooneye said as lightning pulsated out "I'll give you a shocking experience."

Lightning zapped out of Mooneye with the howl of Thunder causing a eerie glow to cover Imperial Mountain.

Many were shocked by this ghostly scene. However what frightened them the most were the wails and pleas of a man.
