As the fight continued on within the walls of the Morave-Xeres Manor. Outside the outskirts of the manor grounds. Walked a red head who wore some gothic attire. She would look up the sky at the crescent moon that sat high up in the air. Almost beckoning for her attention.
"Hello Mister Moon. Luna is happy to see you on such a wonderful night!" She would say smiling wide showing the fangs that hid underneath her lips, which were covered in black lipstick. Looking around, she quickly realized she was speaking to herself. In which she would frown at.
She hated being alone with every ounce of her being. And that impulse within her, had caused quite a few mistakes of happenstance to occur within her life. Especially with being turned into a vampire. It was definitely something that wasn't planned on. But she just kind of rolled with it.
Tilting her head, Luna would feel the air around her shimmering for a moment. Before turning around and seeing a tall man standing there.
He had long black hair that fell to the nape of his back, and an aura about him. That basically said he was an amazing person. Well according to Luna anyways.
The man wore black jeans, paired with black boots. And a grey T-shirt with red and black skulls in design over it. Along with a pair of sunglasses. That really made him stand out in a crowd whenever it was night.
"Hello, Mister Cloud. To what does the Luna owe the pleasure?" She would say her friendly smile growing wider as she threw herself at him. Trapping him in a tight hug.
The man would sigh before patting Luna on the head. "I came to direct you Luna. You're almost to your new home. Where there will be plenty of people to be around." The man would speak with a slight drawl to his voice. But it was nowhere close to a country drawl.
"Will Luna be able to see you there?" She would ask tilting her head to the side. Looking up at him.
"Unfortunately I will not be there for some time. I have some business to take care of. But I will come check on you from time to time. But don't worry about fitting in. I'm good friends with the head of the house." Cloud would say looking up at the sky. "The sun will be rising in two and a half hours. You best be hurrying along."
"Where is it Luna would be hurrying along to?" She'd question blinking innocently.
Mr. Cloud would sigh realizing that she obviously didn't catch a word he had spoken. He had expected her to at least gotten a little bit wiser. With that amount of expectation he would have liked to see the vampirism plague to vanish by now. But here he was, escorting what was once a innocent happy go lucky girl. Who is still a rather innocent and happy go lucky girl. How she managed to stay that way, he would never understand.
"If the sun touches your skin Luna. You will die a very painful death. For what you are now the sun is a very bad thing." Mr. Cloud would say in a low annoyed sigh.
"Why is the sun bad for Luna?" She would ask tilting her head to as far as her head could possibly swivel. Any farther, she would either snap her own neck, or end up turning into a owl.
"Because you're a vampire Luna. And a vampire in the sun will turn into a living bonfire." He would say his irritation slowly building.
"Maybe Luna can throw some meat over the fire and make a delicious meal out of it." She'd say her smile widening.
This was clearly going nowhere, and he would hate to see months of effort going down the drain. Or gone with the wind. Sighing, he would pick Luna up, and throw her over his shoulders and beginning to walk along with her.
"Hey! Luna can walk very well thank you!" She would yell as she squirmed in his hold, trying to wriggle her way out. Mr. Cloud obviously wasn't happy with the fact as he just simply stopped walking and dropped her on her rear end.
"If you can walk, then you can pay attention and listen to what I am trying to say to you. You stay in the sun light you can no longer be around people. You don't drink the blood of others. Same result. And if you don't find your forever home. You will also be unable to be around people. In any form or capacity." He would sigh rubbing the back of his head. "I really wish telling you this was easy, but I know that you don't want to hear it."
"So you are saying and doing these mean things. Just for Luna? Just to be helpful?" She'd question as she slowly sat up rubbing her back. "You could have at least thrown Luna at something softer."
"I threw you at the softest thing around Luna. Now will you trust me?" He would ask.
"For the best interest of Luna?"
"If you want to survive you need to listen to me. I haven't led you astray thus far have I Luna?" He would sigh.
"No you haven't led Luna astray. Well except for the time you tried to get Luna to drink blood from that one homeless man. Who I ended up spending the entire night talking to." Luna would say nodding slowly.
"You didn't drink his blood? You know what never mind that. My head is getting worse the more I am hearing this new information coming to light." He would then pinch the bridge of his nose, before letting out yet another sigh.
"He was a nice man. So Luna didn't drink his blood, and just gave him company instead." She would say smiling innocently tilting her head. "Did Luna do a bad?"
"Do you feel like you have a insatiable hunger? Or a unquenchable thirst?" He would ask
"Now that you mention it. Luna has been feeling quite thirst and no matter how much water she would drink. It wouldn't work to fix it."
"It's because your body doesn't subsist off of what it used to when you, well were once mortal. Calling you normal would be the biggest insult in the entire universe." He would say pointing through some of the trees. "You go in that direction and you will find a big, big home."
"Big? As in bigger than the cardboard box Luna had been staying in?" She would ask tilting her head again.
"Yes bigger than the cardboard box you were staying in when you were living on the streets." Mr. Cloud would say looking down at her. It pained him to think that this girl had gone through some difficult hardships in her life. And yet, she somehow managed to be happy go lucky. Or at least she acted like she was pretty well. Or maybe it was whatever had damaged her brain to the extent, in which she referred to herself in the third person.
"Does it actually have beds. And those mystical showers and baths Luna has heard some much about?" Luna would ask her eyes beginning to sparkle from the wonder.
"You will need to go find out yourself Luna. Now go hurry along. You don't have much time before the sun starts to rise above the horizon. The moment it does and you are still out here. You will be a fresh thanksgiving turkey."
"A fresh Turkey sou-" Luna would begin slowly before being cut off by Mr. Cloud.
"Get your ass moving Luna!" He would yell at her causing her to jump up and beginning to run in the direction in which he had pointed out to her.
"Luna hopes to see you soon Mr. Cloud! Luna whishes you a good morning!" She would yell out as she continued to run. Eventually fading out of his few of vision. But not far enough to be out of his sphere of influence. Where he could still sense her.
"Hopefully Julius is going to be accepting of this one. Not like I have really talked to him since the time of the American Civil War." He would sigh rubbing the back of his head. "May our paths never cross again Luna."
