Rematch

Julian would stand there before Boris for what seemed like a eternity. Gauging the disparity that was between the two. From what Julian could tell based off of their last fight. He had superior strength compared to him. And superior speed. And on top of that he hit like a truck. It was definitely a lose, lose situation for him. If he got too close anyways.

So he had to try his best to keep as far away from him, and strike with good enough strikes with his blade.

Quickly glancing down to the silvered blade. He would observe it within his hands, and feel the almost perfect balance that it had from the butt of the blade all the way to the tip. And it felt almost weightless within his hands. It amazed him just how light the long sword felt within his hands. Then again, it was probably forged using a great deal of technique, and magic in tandem.

Taking a deep breath he would move his gaze back to Boris only to see him lunging at him and going for a sweep kick. And being taken by surprise, Julian would feel the heavy force of the kick throw him off balance and heavily landing on the ground. Feeling his breath catch in his lungs and panic beginning to form. He wasn't expecting something like this to happen, then again he had mostly been used to normal regulated one on one duels when it came to actual fights. And his time on his hunts usually had him only defending himself form the usual drunk or homeless person that would come into where he and his companions would be hiding out.

Rolling out of the way of Boris' next hit. Julian would quickly rise up and take a stance once more preparing for Boris to make his way towards him with another set of attacks. But all he did was opposite to the contrary. But instead, he would begin to speak.

"You know boy. You were praised to be one of the best vampires within your stupid coven. I honestly thought this was going to be a rather enjoyable fight when we began. Only to really discover that you are just a young inexperienced brat who has been pampered by daddy and everyone around you treating you as if you are something special. When in reality. You are fucking nothing but dirt." He would say with a sneer, walking towards him slowly.

"This coming from a man who has to use bugs to enhance his physical prowess. But without it you are probably frail and weak!" Julian would yell before lunging towards Boris himself. His red eyes flaring as he moved faster swinging the blade in a upwards diagonal motion. Only to be caught in the hand of Boris. If only for a moment before the silver of the blade began to burn his hand, prompting him to let go of the blade and go for a left hook.

Julian would spin around the hook barely managing to dodge it before going for a thrust. Cutting against his abdomen, burning the flesh as he made contact as his dark blood began to slowly pour out. And the Bugs that were beneath his skin would begin to crawl out and begin to repair the injury. Only for them to quickly recoil from the injury.

Taking notice of this Boris would jump back from Julian, only for him to lunge forward with another horizontal slash catching him along his right bicep, further burning the mans body.

Gritting his teeth Boris would look at the young vampire as many unpleasant thoughts about him were rushing through his head. He was definitely better than he took him for. Especially if given the chance to actually do anything. And with that a simple fix came to mind. Not allowing him the further chance to actually get any kinds of hits in.

Boris would let out a roar before charging at Julian once more preparing to release a barrage of punches at the young vampire. Hoping to beat him down quick enough to not be able to react.

"Luna!" Aurella would yell watching her friend get cleaved across the chest by the white demon. Dark red blood beginning to pull from her injuries and drip to the ground with a decent amount.

Aurella would quickly run towards the demon as her magic began to build up once more. Only for it to appear behind her and strike her across her back sending her forward and onto the ground. As pain burst through her body to the point it was nearly unbearable. Taking a deep gasp she would look up to the demon with a look of fear beginning to once again take root in her eyes. The demon would tilt its head slightly before lifting its long fingers up preparing to strike down on the girl.

Quickly rolling over she would feel her magic begin to bubble up as she held out her hands creating a barrier right as the entity struck at her. Blocking the hit mid air. The demon would tilt its head almost confused that she had managed to do such a thing. Only for it to then appear right behind her yet again and go for another strike.

Which was promptly interrupted by a rock hitting it in the back of the head. Bringing its attention back upon Luna who was standing there, looking paler than she already did. Gripping the torch as hard as she could to keep it in her grasp, and to keep herself conscious.

Luna was used to living in pain and being uncomfortable. But the pain she felt from this thing cutting her across her body. It was almost unbearable. Looking down at her blood on the ground. She was starting to feel light headed to the point she could barely stand. Along with the sensation within her body of throwing up whatever was in her stomach at such a sight. Even when she was on the streets. She hadn't experienced anything like this before. And there was one sobering thought that she had within her mind. Was she going to die?
