The Devil In White

Myst would be running down the hall with Maurice right behind her. A ball of flames hovering just above the palm of her hand providing enough light for her to see just exactly where she was going.

Looking back, she would see Maurice running close behind her. Her eyes closed as she seemed to be concentrating on a spell. Probably one to track Aurella with. Taking a deep breath she would glance around the cave walls that surrounded them. Taking in every inch as she tried to make heads from tails. They had barely managed to make it out of the threatening day light when they had. And now as they were deep within the tunnels, they struggled for a moment as their eyes adjusted to the darkness around them.

Their vision going from tones of a pitch black void, to that of grey tones that allowed them to see their surroundings. If only barely.

"You are losing focus Myst." Maurice would say in a hushed voice earning Mysts attention as she began to take notice to her surroundings. "You are allowing your worry to cloud your vision, and not just your visual perspectives."

She was right, there was no denying that with everything that had transpired in the last hour alone. From Boris having decided to go from trying to claim her, to suddenly trying to claim Aurella, and challenging Julian to do it. There was no telling how things as they were, were going to end. Especially with Julian fighting the much stronger Boris on his own. With only his skill to help him even get some form of a upper hand.

"Your focus has to be upon Aurella." The red head would say glancing to her. Allowing a flame to form in the palm of her hand. Lighting up the path ahead of them by a couple of feet. Allowing them to see what was coming upon them. Which to their surprise, were big bugs that were rushing down the path ahead of them. As if they were being directed by something.

Boris.

As that thought came to the surface of both of the young vampires mind. Some of the bugs turned to them, having noticed the light that the flames were giving off. Just their luck.

The demon would appear before Luna before Aurella could throw a spell up to do anything to stop it. Looking down at the pale girl before her. One who by the blood she was losing alone would soon expire. But patience was not something this demon was known for. Especially when it was given a fresh mission that it needed to take care of.

Raising its clawed hand. It was about to savor the death of yet another victim of its cruelty. And that of its master.

Watching it raise its claw hand before her. Luna would struggle to even take in a stable breath, as her mind raced faster and faster as the realization was beginning to hit her. She was going to die, and there was nothing that she could do to stop it. Well besides maybe bleeding on it. But there was nothing to say that would be effective. It would probably find such a thing entertaining. Since the look that it held in its cold lifeless eyes was something that definitely agreed with such a idea.

Looking to Aurella she would let give the girl who had helped her as best as she could. A weak smile, as she began to feel weaker and weaker. Her knees barely able to hold up her weight. The demon might not even have to move a muscle at this rate.

For The Luna could feel her life leaving her body. And it was a cold and earie feeling.

The demon would begin to slash down upon the young vampire before it. Aiming for her most vital organs. Only for it to stop mere inches away from impacting through her skin. And its attention being grabbed by a sudden feeling. Could it be?

Turning it would glance to the opening of the cavern that was being used to usher in more bugs that were being used to distracted his target. Would take notice in two new figures standing in the entrance. Their boots covered in the guts of plenty of bugs.

Staring the demon down. Myst and Maurice would stare it down, with a look that would've scared any sane vampire. The anger that had been building up within them for a while now. Was beginning to come to ahead, and the focused target was the demon dumb enough to have laid its hands on Aurella. And the stranger that they had no knowledge of. Yet could tell she was on their side due to the injuries that she sustained.

"Myst!" Aurella would yell as the mixed sensation of happiness and relief coursed through her body. Only to completely vanish as the sound of a loud thud earned her attention. Looking over, she would noticed Luna's body laying on the ground. The feelings she previously felt were quickly replaced by the feeling of fear and worry. As the demon took in the opponents before it. With almost a look of enjoyment on its face.

Anger then gripping at Aurella she would throw her hand up at the demon before her. As a weird sensation began to course through her veins. A electrified feeling as the hairs on her arm began to stick up. As a massive surge of energy forced itself up from deep within. As she sent a bolt of lightning to the demon sending it flying into the cavern wall.

Myst would watch the blinding light make contact with the demon. Before looking from the girl it had came from. She had never been able to do such a thing before, she could barely conjure up a fire ball. Much less use a current of lightning as if she had done it several times. Glancing to Maurice, who held the same surprised and shocked look on her face. Took a few minutes to recover. What had this battle been doing to Aurella? And just what exactly did she have access to?
