Days would pass as the four young vampires were monitored and kept under surveillance. To ensure their injuries properly healed. And that they were okay. Eventually all of them were cleared. And allowed to go on with life as normal.
As normal as a vampiric life could be.
In the training room. Aurella would roll out of the way of one of Maurice's blows. As their game of cat and mouse ensued.
"Come on Aurella! You need to strike back!" The girl would order as she went after Aurella with another blow. This one she wasn't able to dodge.
Taking the hit to the gut. Aurella would feel the full brunt of the hit. As the air completely left her body. Leaving her on the ground as she tried to force any air back into her lungs.
Realizing this. Maurice would quickly kneel besides Aurella placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Aurella. I got too caught up in the moment" Maurice would say apologetically.
"I...It's okay....I need the training....remember...?" She would manage through breaths.
"Gotta train you to dodge a hit. Not tank one Aurella. Especially if it is a full forced blow from me" Maurice would continue to say Apologetically.
Holding out her hand. Maurice would help Aurella to her feet. Before slowly taking a step back from her.
"Aurella! Maurice! The Luna has broughts you guys water!" Luna would say having walked into the training room. Wearing a maid outfit. The collar fluffed out. Matched with a mini skirt, a white blouse, and a white apron all fluffed out.
Maurice would purse her lips. As she took in the sight of the girl before her.
"Luna...why are you wearing that outfit?" Maurice would ask. As she felt some form of ulcer beginning to apparate. It wasn't like she didn't make the look work. It was however concerning.
"Because the Luna has made it her personal goal. To serve Aurella! After she got the Luna into the family. And after helping save her life" Luna would explain her reasoning for wearing the maid outfit.
"Luna. You don't have to serve me. We can just be friends. Please. I don't want to make you feel like a servant" Aurella would say walking over to the girl. "Go on and put on some regular clothes. We are equals. Okay?"
Luna would have a look of indecision on her face. Would slowly nod before setting two water bottles onto a stand close to them. Before beginning to walk off.
"The Luna will go get dressed in the normal persons clothes. " she would say a little bit defeated.
Aurella would go over to Luna placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Don't take this the wrong way. Okay? I just want you to be on the same ground as I am. We are friends." Aurella would say smiling to her.
Luna would allow a small smile to form on her lips as she heard those words. "You are friends with the Luna?"
"You are truly a weird person Luna." The voice of Julian would ring out from the door. As he leaned against it. His body covered with a decent amount of bandaging covering his body.
Luna would smile even wider hearing those words. "The Luna is unique!"
Aurella would glance to Julian. A look of worry and guilt playing on her face. Before slowly turning away from her brother.
"That indeed you are. Now, could I have a moment with my sister? I have to speak with her in private. " Julian would say directing it to both Luna and Maurice. "It won't be long. "
Nodding at those words. Maurice would walk forward gently pushing Luna out of the room. Who simply slid as she was pushed. Like a character out of an anime.
As soon as they were alone. Julian would turn his gaze to his sister before clearing his throat.
"What's up Julian?" She would ask forcing herself to glance to her brother. Who looked like he was trying to figure out exactly what it was he was trying to say. Yet it seemed as if the words got caught in his throat.
How was she going to take the news he was going to tell her? It was that thought that was making him hesitate with telling her. For if she didn't take it well. He didn't know how her father was going to smooth such a thing over. But yet, here he was having to tell her.
Taking a deep breath. He braced himself for how she would possibly react.
"So there is some news that dad wanted me to tell you." Julian would say in a sheepish tone. Feeling entirely unsure about the entire situation. It felt as if he were the bearer of bad news. Which in this case was definitely a possibility.
"What is it? And why are you hesitating like that?" Aurella would say as she felt that all too familiar presence of fear begin to well up from deep within. From what she had learned with everything that had recently happened. Fear definitely wasn't a good thing to feel. At all. Her being kidnapped for the amount of time that she was, was the reason she had been going through training as she did. To ensure she was capable enough to not just be grabbed. Like the helpless little girl that she felt like. And ever since the cave. She had noticed that her ability to use magic to what she had been able to had dwindled. Yeah she was still able to cast spells and all that.
But she wasn't able to conjure anything like she had in the cave. And she couldn't figure out why.
"Dad wanted me to tell you that he had a trip in mind for me, you, and the others who were with us in the cave." Julian would say telling her vaguely what their father wanted him to.
"And what about Marcus?"
"He is going to be sent somewhere else. For his own personal training. Dad gave him the option and he made his own decision on the matter."
"And where would we be going?" Aurella would ask tilting her head as she braced herself for what he could say.
"Father wants us to go to Japan. To go with our uncle for further training." Julian would say dropping the final bombshell on her. As she openly gaped at him. Unsure of what to say.
