Still confused, James and I stood up. "Lily, you had a bow and the light. Is he dead?" James looked at me. "I-I don't know." I mumbled.
"Lily?" James moved closer to the person still not moving.
"Yeah?" I followed next to him. The man laying down was breathing.
"Lily, I don't think we should just leave him here."
"He's not a shadow anymore but he could be dangerous!" I yelled.
"Yeah but we can't just leave him here!" James yelled back.
"Ok. Ok. Let's call the hospital." About to pull out my phone, I heard a faint voice, "No, please don't call the hospital."
James and I both looked at each other. I put my phone back in my pocket. The man in front of us slowly stood up. His green eyes were bright. It was as if he was a different person than the shadow. "I don't need to go to the hospital, I'm ok. You saved me."
"Sir, are you ok? Do you remember anything that happened?" I asked.
"I was trapped. For so long, the darkness was all I could see. After years, the golden bow and the arrow of light are finally back. We are saved."
"What is your name sir?" James asked.
"My name. Well my name is William." He smiled. "Is it alright if I go with you? I don't think it's safe to go home yet. I promise I won't cause you any trouble."
James and I both turned around to talk. "James I don't know if this is a good idea. He tried to kill us. What if he tries to kill us again?" I said. "I think we'll be ok Lily. He's not the same as before. We just have to be careful." James whispered. We decided to give William a chance.
We got back to James' house and sat in the living room in silence. It was late and James decided he would take the couch and he would make a bed on the floor for William. James said I could sleep on the bed. I got ready for bed but I wasn't feeling tired, so I opened the window and watched the sky for a while. I've always loved the stars and the moon.
