The King kept his part of the deal. I watched James walk away. He turned to face me but the shadows pushed him away. They tied my hands again. I couldn't summon the bow.
"Come golden bow." The man said.
Transporting to the Kingdom of Darkness was similar to the Kingdom of Light, but it was cold. The shadow surrounded me until we made it to the Kingdom of Darkness where no light was to be seen.
"My King, when will we attack?" I heard someone say.
"Soon." He smiled.
We walked into the room. It was full of shadows. The man pulled me through the crowd.
"My King, where will she stay?" The man asked.
"Give her one of the rooms. No windows and 4 guards by the door."
The man pulled me through the crowd again. We walked up another set of stairs until we made it too a room.
"Trying to escape won't do anything for you. Stay here and your friend will live." The man said. He locked the door and left the room.
I couldn't stand being in the dark anymore so I summoned the bow. The room around me had no windows and only one door. There were paintings on the wall though. They were actually quite beautiful. One was of a lady dancing. Another had the same lady, but she was looking up to the night sky. This one painting stood out to me though, the same lady was in the painting, but she was with someone. The man in the picture was playing music, while the lady was dancing.
After looking around I decided to go to bed. I didn't feel comfortable sleeping here in this place, but I needed sleep if I was going to escape. I closed my eyes. My dream changed. I saw a woman, she was alone under the night sky. Someone walked up to her but I couldn't tell who.
I could hear a man's voice, "My lady, what are you doing out here all alone?"
The woman laughed, "I am not alone, you are here."
The man sat down next to her and they both watched the night sky. It was peaceful, but the peace didn't last. My dream became dark and I could hear screaming. There was a door and I walked closer. I slowly opened the door to see a man, sitting on his knees, holding a woman.
"Guards! Someone broke into the castle! Find them and kill them for what they have done!" He yelled.
I walked closer. The woman wasn't moving. The man held her close to his heart. I could hear his heart, the feeling of hate gave me chills and I woke up.
