ROOM ARRANGEMENTS

Ivan woke up in a timely manner, the car just got inside the premises of the resort. The scent in front of him made him want to sleep more plus Kaye's hand which was stroking his hair gently.

Kaye noticed that his breathing faltered which gave her a fright. "Ivan! Are you okay?" She gave his shoulder a light tap.

Ivan was confused at the sudden panic but he still opened his eyes and stared directly at her beautiful face. "I'm fine. What's the matter?"

Kaye exhaled a long sigh of relief. "I thought something happened when your breathing hitched." she told him the honest truth which made Ivan smiled mischievously.

'She was observing while sleeping. So cute.' Ivan exclaimed on his thought but he didn't say them out loud.

Yvonne wasn't looking at them but she was listening to their conversation, so was Chadwick. They were both thinking to give the two a push in their relationship, but held themselves as well. Ivan had his own plans.

"Let's get out." Yvonne spoke after a while which made the two of them realized that they've arrived already.

Ivan folded the blanket, placed it on the backseat as well as the pillow. He opened the door for Kaye, then took their things out.

"Let me carry my bag." Kaye insisted to carry her own things since it wasn't very heavy, but Ivan refused to do so.

"I'll carry it for you. It wasn't even heavy." Kaye couldn't do much so she ended up following him inside the building.

Grace was the first to see them. She stood up and greeted them before calling the other guests back.

While registering their names to confirm their booking, Lexi came in with Gab who was holding some local ice cream. Kathleen was also following them with a barbecue in her hands.

"You've got to taste these. It's really delicious." Kathleen offered some to Kaye in which the latter took happily. She loves meat and barbecue was something she was craving lately.

Ivan smiled at her sister who was so eager to ship them. He was holding onto their things so Kaye fed him some so he could taste it too.

"If you're my sister-in-law, I would really be happy." Kathleen commented which stunned Kaye. Slowly, the blush started creeping from her neck to her face.

"Sister-in-law? Don't joke with me." She laughed awkwardly trying to hide her nervousness but Ivan could clearly see the tremble in her hands.

"Why not? You and my brother are so compatible." Kathleen responded with a huge grin displayed on her face.

Ivan didn't want to make things difficult for her, so he pulled her close to him while glaring at her sister. "Don't joke such serious matter."

Kaye even felt more rueful when Ivan spoke. 'He would really get mad. After all, he's got someone he likes.' Kaye's thought was written all over her face uncontrollably. Ivan felt worried now.

"I don't want to put you on spotlight. I would never forget you like someone else." Ivan whispered to her which stunned Kaye. Ivan smiled but it never reached his eyes. He didn't speak to her again and Kaye felt that she upset him once again.

After confirming the room, they found out that due to the hatching season of the turtles, many tourist came and booked the place. Changing rooms would be impossible.

"Here's the arrangements. Grace and Gabriel would, of course share the same room, same as Chadwick and I, as well as Lexi and Gab." Yvonne spoke after getting their room numbers and keys. "Kaye and Kath will share a room. Ivan will-"

"Wait." Kathleen interrupted her auntie. "I can't sleep with someone else. I mean, I move around and I snore loudly. I don't want to stress Kaye." she made an excuse which was all clear to everyone except for the victims.

"But we can't change rooms." Yvonne 'disagree' with her niece. "Lexi won't leave Gab either." Yvonne gave a look at Lexi which the latter picked up easily.

"I'm sorry." Lexi made a 'guilty' face at Kaye and Ivan. Kaye was not upset over the issue but she was worried until a voice came behind her.

"I'll take her with me. It's not like we haven't spent time in the same roof. Right, Kaye?" Kaye could only nod her head to Ivan's suggestion. Honestly, she was very happy with the idea.

'Call me bitch or a whore! I don't care! I just want to spend more time with him!' Kaye was screaming in her head but her face just plastered a smile.

Ivan took the key from her mother and led Kaye towards their room, leaving the people behind them with smiling faces.

"If after this vacation there's still no progress, I would give up on the bag I've been eyeing in London!" Kathleen grumbled to the people beside her which earned a series of laughter.

"Good luck to Ivan!" Gab responded before grabbing his things and Lexi's.

Other people did the same thing and went to their own room respectively with smiling faces and internal cheers for Ivan.

Kaye followed Ivan to room 501 which they will be using. Ivan opened the door and put down their things once they're inside. "It's rather big. It's facing the sea as well. I love the view."

Ivan looked at her who was leaning over the window rail, facing the sea, inhaling the sea breeze, a smile tugging on his lips.

"I love view." Ivan said but Kaye didn't hear him. She thought he was murmuring something to her so she turned around. A lovely sight that Ivan took in.

"Did you say something?" Kaye asked, holding her hair down which was blown away by the wind.

"I said you look so pretty standing there." Ivan responded as he walked towards her.

Kaye's heart was skipping a beat. The world seemed to stop while he drew closer to her. "Don't stare at me for so long." He flicked her forehead but he placed a kiss on it after.

'I wish we could stay like this forever.' Kaye and Ivan thought at the same time.
