"Why are we here?" Saeko said looking at the huge underground vault in front of her.
"There's something in there that I want," Ryota said as he looked around to find a way to open the thing, even with his gate of Babylon breaking through the huge vault would be impossible using just stones. Ryota had a strange feeling which was more like a tingle in his brain alarming him that the core was nearby or anything related to the core was near.
"Well, there's no way to break into it, with all the staff dead." Saeko analyzed as both of them heard a sudden muffled voice coming from within, "Did you hear that?"
Ryota nodded, "I think someone is in there may be a zombie in there just growling because it heard us?"
"I don't think so." Saeko said, "Listen carefully, they sound more than just growls. I think there are people in there arguing. What do we do?"
Ryota looked around as he shook his head not having a clue, "Well, I think it's the staff or customers collected in there to save themselves. We can try calling them out, but I am not sure they'd listen. But they'll get out sooner or later, after all, they'd eventually get hungry and considering the number of people in there they'd start have trouble breathing soon too."
Saeko nodded as both of them knocked and tried calling them out a couple of times but just as Ryota expected they wouldn't budge. He knew they could hear them after all, the all quietened soon after their first calling.
"Let's go for now." Ryota said, "But let's just lock the place before we go."
"Why?"
"I want something that's in there." Ryota said shrugging, "Let's just lock the basement door completely and we can come back tomorrow to pick our stuff up."
Saeko didn't question any further as they locked the door on their way out with a lot of precautions so not even a group of people could force their way out.
"What if they have an emergency exit?"
"Then they're just lucky." Ryota said, "Our survival is more important and since night's falling pretty soon, we need to secure a place to stay and I know just the place."

"So this is Shizuka-sensei's house?" Saeko looked around as she came out of the bath covered in just apron and her underwear.
"It's more like her friend's place, and I've never met her too," Ryota said as he checked her out from head to toe while he gathered all guns and weapons he could find, "Do you know how to use guns?"
Saeko came over and shook her head as she looked through the items, "Do you?"
"Nope." Ryota said as he tried hard to not stare into her cleavage, "Are you sure you just want to wear that?"
"There are no other clothes that fit me." Saeko said, "This is truly shameful. I apologize."
"I am not complaining." Ryota said with a smug smile, "It's like a fantasy come true after all."
Saeko just shook her head as she went towards the kitchen, "I'll cook for us, so you should go ahead and take a bath too."
Ryota nodded and went to take a bath and wearing one of the clothes he packed up previously before he came out, drying his hair with a towel.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing, it's just easier to believe you're a model, after all, not all guys have a sense of fashion." Saeko said, "You look good."
"Thanks, but it's all my agent's fault since she asked me to buy all these flashy clothes and these are the only type that I have for now." Ryota shrugged as he sat on the table to eat, "But I didn't think you'll catch up to it, after all, these clothes are like in-fashion back at my home."
"Of course, I am a girl after all." Saeko said with a small pout, "Or do you not think of me that way?"
"I totally see you like as a girl, but you look to be more on the conservative side, that's all." Ryota said, "Especially since, I am your first date. I am more so curious, like haven't you ever liked someone before?"
"There was indeed a man that I did like," Saeko said reminiscing things, "But I never told him how I felt. I didn't think I was good enough."
Ryota nodded understanding that feeling, "People really do become weak when it comes to people they truly like, don't they?"
"I thought you'd disagree." Saeko smiled, "I'd love to hear more about you so for that I'd like to start with me, so you can trust me better. Will you listen to me?"
"Of course." Ryota nodded,
"My life has been pretty normal growing up till now. I followed my father's footsteps and was greatly into martial arts and swordplay but I got a personality defining moment four years ago." Saeko said grimly, "Four years ago... at night on the street, I was attacked by a man. I had my wooden sword, so of course, I didn't lose. I broke his shoulder and Femur. Given the circumstances the police sent me home as it could be considered an act of self-defense."
"Let me guess, you liked it?" Ryota said, "You like the feeling of hurting him?"
"Yes." Saeko said grinding wildly, "I liked it. It gave me pleasure to make him suffer. After realizing I had the overwhelming upper hand with my wooden sword, his frightened movements seemed inviting I attacked without any hesitation. I liked it. It was exhilarating. That's the real me, that is Busjima Saeko's true nature."
"Though I have to wonder if you can look past that with no real reason, I get high when I'm in power and I pretend to have the heart and soul of a young girl. I have shown sides of being like those creatures too, just heartless monsters that are just meant to kill. And the more I am in this situation the more I realize I haven't changed a bit, I still like it all. So that's why I am more curious about you, I know you kill for a bit of pleasure too but at the same time, I know for sure you aren't like me."

Author here:
So since it's just the beginning I don't want to round up too many characters at once, so I need your help in making a choice. I have picked both Shizuka and Saeko but we can only take one back home for now as for the other party, they'd join later in the future chapters when MC gets more power to handle shit. So which girl to take for now?
A) Saeko (my choice)
B) Marikawa
