More Magic!

Vaille and Lillian made their way to her room, passing frantic servants running around the palace like lost ducklings.

Lillian noticed Vaille's expressions turn from happy to conflict four times in a matter of seconds.

"Are you ok, Princess?" She asked when she saw that there weren't as many people around them.

"I am, don't worry about it, Lillian," Vaille said, forcing a smile on her face.

"You wish to help, don't you?" She asked, dodging a servant carrying more clothes. They were too busy to pay attention to them anyway.

"I am helping. By finding out about all these, the mystery can be solved quicker. Or we will find some better clues." Vaille said, sounding more like she was trying to convince herself not Lillian.

"But that's not what you want to do, is it?" Lillian continued asking as her room came into view. "What you want is to help your people up close."

Vaille paused, "Are you reading my mind, Lillian?"
