Poseidon's Guardians

As KJ and Kabal continued swimming downwards they started to hear some voices.

Everyone on the planet currently shares a common language. Everyone on the planet speaks and writes in the same language which is an ancient language passed down from the Gods of the past.

Kabal seemed surprised, "KJ whose down there? They seem to be able to speak Vorheem, our language.

KJ: Kabal, everyone speaks that language, don't be surprised, we share much more than you may be aware of.

As they continued swimming downwards, they saw a few bubbles flash past them. KJ and Kabal swiftly turned and came face to face with the bubbles. The bubbles were giant, and they held shadowy figures inside. They were now able to stand because they had a surface beneath them to stand on.

KJ swiftly got onto one knee, he threw an arm over his knee and rested his head on it as he faced the floor. Kabal caught sight of this and repeated the same actions as KJ, taking the same pose.

The shadows in the bubbles looked as if they were conversing, they turned away from each other and faced KJ.

"Both of you, follow us, don't try anything stupid and you'll be fine."

The bubbles shot off into the distance, their speed was more than double that of KJ's and Kabal's. When they turned around and saw KJ and Kabal lagging in the distance they slowed down to allow them to catch up.

They traveled for about 15-20 minutes before they got to a palace under the ocean. The doors were gigantic, it was akin to the sunken Atlantis on Earth. The city was grand and beautiful.

Kabal looked around in wonder, he never expected something so dazzling, something so intriguing to be laying at the bottom of this ocean. He was barely listening to the two shadows in the bubbles, he was starstruck as he tried to take in everything at once.

The palace was mostly white but the trims and slight details on the building were a brilliant golden colour and some even had a shining silver hue as well.

Even though they were at the depths of the ocean, surprisingly it wasn't dark at all. There were creatures similar to jellyfishes swimming around and there were a whole bunch of them. Each of them was glowing with different colours and because of this everything around the palace could be seen in all its wonder.

The two shadowy figures reached for a silver bracelet on their wrist, this bracelet was made of fine silver and in the center was a diamond-shaped ruby. They put some pressure on the ruby with their fingers and as they did this the ruby slowly descended as if they were pushing a button and when they removed their fingers the ruby raised itself and took its original place.

The bubble that was originally around their entire bodies slowly came in on itself until it made a kind of glistening white aura perfectly outlining each of the men.

Now Kabal and KJ could see these creatures in their entirety. KJ wasn't very surprised and because of this Kabal kept a straight face as well even though it was unlike anything he had seen.

They both looked to be males however they didn't look human. They stood and had appendages like humans, but they had small fish like characteristics here and there. They had slits that looked like gills.

The one on the right had cracked and scaly skin that acted as armour, it also had a red tinge to it. The padding on his hands, feet, face, and front of his body decreased in scales and also lost the red pigmentation as it got closer to the middle of each part.

The creature on the left looked very similar to his comrade, they both had similar human-like faces but the red one looked more aggressive and sinister. His face looked as if it had been aged and he had a scar going across his left eye. His right eye was completely black, but his left was completely white, it looked as if it was a pearl.

The other one had a blue tinge instead of a red one. This one was pretty similar, but his face was obviously younger, and he didn't have any scars. His skin was not scaly and had no cracks on it, his skin was looked rather smooth and was very slippery and slimy. Sindra looked to be in his 30s or 40s while Ayla looked to be in his early 20s.

They both had staffs as weapons that each had a trident like moulding at the tips. They were basically pseudo tridents. Their staffs were a sleek black and the trident like protrusion was a dull greyish silver.

KJ thought to himself silently without giving anything away.

So, these are the Sea Dwellers that live in The Endless Abyss. If I remember correctly these two gentlemen should be Poseidon's Guardians. The red one should be Sindra and the blue one should be Ayla. They're not to be trifled with as they stand among some of the strongest on this planet. And that bracelet on their wrist… The Hope of Poseidon.

Vorheem: Language of the Gods and the language that is used by all

The Hope of Poseidon: Silver bracelet that has a ruby engraved. The bracelet is used to form a bubble around the user so they can breathe, travel faster and converse as usual. If they must fight, they can press the ruby and the bubble will contract until it forms a sort of thin white aura around the person. This has many of the benefits of the bubble form, however, you cannot swim as fast. The other uses are the same, this form is mostly used for battle so a person can release their full power.

Poseidon's Guardians (Sindra and Ayla): The guardians under the head of the palace. Are a part of the race of Sea Dwellers. Sindra is red and scaly/rough and appears old, Ayla is blue and smooth/slippery and appears to be young. More in-depth descriptions in the actual chapter
