Raiju The Hidden Sword

A lanky purple Sea Dweller came up to KJ and taunted him right away without a second thought. He postured himself to appear larger and threw his arms over each other in front of his chest. In his left hand, he had a shank limply sitting in his hand.

KJ waited a bit but when he saw that the man wasn't going anywhere anytime soon, he finally spoke up. "I'm sorry but I'm looking for someone a bit stronger." KJ was absolutely serious he wasn't making fun of him at all.

The man gritted his teeth, he was disgusted with KJ. He pointed the shank at KJ, he was only a few feet away. "Why don't you want to fight. Are you scared I'm gonna stab you, are you scared I'm gonna take your life??" It was clear that this man was trying to taunt and mock KJ at this point.

KJ was fed up. "Fine, we can fight but use your weapon."

The lanky man shrugged his shoulders. He had a sinister giant smile plastered on his face with jagged rough teeth. He didn't look friendly at all. "Where is your weapon supposed to be?"

KJ got into a classic muay thai fighting stance. "I won't be needing a weapon to deal with you. I wouldn't want to get anything needlessly dirty you know." KJ winked at his opponent.

This completely set the Sea Dweller off. He was a hot-tempered one and he rushed KJ in the same instant. "Don't beg for help when you're bleeding out."

KJ kept his eyes glued onto his for the last few moments and he noticed something while the man was talking. His eyes. His eyes were so pure. KJ had seen many men in his life and because of this he gained the ability to judge someone quickly and accurately. KJ knew that the man was lying through his teeth. He taunted his opponent with the newfound information. It was time to have some fun while fighting. KJ especially loved the aspect of talking shit or bad manners. In his opinion it was all to spice things up, you know put a bit of excitement in.

KJ saw pure innocence in the other man's eyes. He looked as if he was merely an infant in front of an actual God of Slaughter in KJ.

His opponent thrust towards him with the shank and in return KJ didn't move at all. The lanky man backed away awkwardly. "Huh, did you shit your pants or something? Next time it'll be your life." The lanky man made a similar gesture, slicing towards KJ's stomach. KJ didn't move once again. "I know you're a little young but are you slow as well, in a fight you can't be stationary like that."

KJ's cold and distant voice leaked out from his mouth. "And in a fight, your life is on the line. No need to play games." As KJ was speaking his body began moving a bit closer. KJ went to throw a double jab with his left fists. The lanky man tried backing away while flailing his shank but KJ perfected his distance. He was never scratched once.

The lanky man continued taunting. "That was a warning and also, if you only try to throw punches just know you'll never win, they're far too predictable."

Just as the man said that it sounded as if KJ's voice grew a bit louder. "You've never killed, your whole persona is a façade, I guess this is all a mortal realm practitioner amounts too." KJ's double jab was a fake, those punches were never meant to hit. They were used to judge his distance and they did exactly that. KJ's right foot extended and launched into the air.

BANG

The nearby Sea Dwellers looked over at what made such a loud sound. KJ dusted himself off however no one was looking at him. They were looking at the floor. KJ's opponent was now face down in the pavement. Laying in a small pool of blood with what looked to be fragments of teeth floating around.

A larger Sea Dweller stepped out, "Who did this, no one is meant to be hurt to such an extent in the Training Grounds."

KJ dusted himself off and took a step back.

KJ: I had no business fighting with him, but he wouldn't leave me alone. He ran at me with a shank and I returned a single strike. He went completely unconscious; his eyes made a full circle before he hit finally hit the ground. His chicken legs folded beneath them, no longer capable of holding his meager weight. Look, I'm even unarmed

The crowd started getting a bit rowdy.

"I don't believe it"

"He must have had a weapon."

"He's bluffing it was probably a sneak attack."

"Wait isn't that Raiju's younger brother?"

THUD THUD THUD

The place was silent for a moment before unbearably loud footsteps rang in everyone's ears. A loud voice that resembled a tiger's roar rang out. "WHO TOUCHED MY BROTHER. WHO'S BEGGING FOR AN EARLY DEATHBED!"

'Raiju, Raiju it's him don't take your anger out on any of us."

A few of the wimpier looking bunch that stood on the sidelines were afraid of such a large man.

KJ seemed to notice something. He thought to himself. He seems familiar; however, he's lacking something. He's lacking that confident bordering cocky aura that was so resilient. He used to feel as though he could match up against any odds. It's Raiju, The Hidden Sword. The man that was supposed to inherit The Endless Abyss.
