A Brutal Beating

Kabal was now alone, sitting still in the courtyard. He was meditating, the scenery was quiet and peaceful. Kabal was focusing on the technique and delving into its mysteries.

Kabal was thinking until he heard the sound of metal scratching against something. When Kabal finally turned around he saw KJ dragging a large mace. He held the golden mace with one hand as it screeched against the cold stone floor.

The mace from top to bottom was roughly 3 feet long and it's full golden colour was covered in scratches. With a bit of effort KJ swung the mass off of the floor and lightly planted it onto his right shoulder. As KJ continued walking he got closer and and closer to Kabal.

KJ: Kabal you know I've warned you before so you shouldn't complain. However, because I am your brother I will warn you again. Learning this art is extremely painful and it encompasses everything in your life. If you are not ready to be battered and bruised... don't even think about advancing in this technique

Kabal nodded, "I've been thinking and after a while I realized, if all I spend my time on is thinking... I'll never truly accomplish anything. I'm firm in my resolve, it is time for more doing and less thinking."

KJ: Alright, during this portion of the training remember to focus on your previous lesson. Remember the teaching... look at it in different ways. Analyze all possible views and discover that there is no true path, only one that suits the user. There are many paths and they are all true. As you incur more and more excessive punishment remember not to lose focus. Your body must understand what your mind already knows

Kabal: I am ready!

KJ looked fondly at the end of the mace. It looked similar to a Monkey God's weapon but KJ couldnt put his finger on it. "Kabal you can remove your robes beforehand or you can choose to keep them on if you want. By the end of your training today..... well..... to say the least, your robes won't look the same

Kabal: Hmmm, I'll choose to keep them on for our first lesson. You can begin at any time, my body is always ready

KJ almost let out a laugh, "well you may be saying that now but let's see if you keep that same energy."

KJ lifted the mace into the air with both hands. He lifted it high, as high as he could. When he finally reached the highest point he brought the mace down with a great force.

BOOM BOOM BOOM

First Kabal's back was battered repeatedly.

BANG BANG BANG

KJ struck with precision. He targeted his back for a while. Then he slowly moves to his shoulder, he then finished off the rest of his arms.

Kabal was a mix of colours. He was red, black, purple and blue. His natural skin colour was contorted due to the bruises and injuries.

KJ: How is it... do you need a break

Kabal was now panting. He was completely out of breath. The first strike knocked him completely over.... for the rest of the attacks Kabal was face down into the courtyard. He was unable to get his body back up after being repeatedly striked. His tired and strained voice rolled out. "The pain is nothing when placed in front of the possible outcomes of life. I don't plan on having your effort wasted. Surely not yet."

KJ: well you should get used to it. The next few months it'll only get worse. Every week I will be slightly increasing the amount of strength I use. If you ever choose to quit, make sure it is before you reach the Spirit Connection Realm

After KJ finished speaking he swung the mace.

AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN

BANG BANG BANG

BOOM BOOM BOOM

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

KJ struck with precision and changed locations fluidly. He started with his back, moving to his shoulders and then battering the rest of Kabal's arms. Every time the mace landed his hands would collapse and he would fall again. He tried to lift his body but his hands couldn't handle the pain.

SMASH SMASH

After KJ finished with his arms he went over his back again. He traveled from his upper back to his lower back. He slammed the mace into his legs as well

"AAAAAAAAA"

Kabal was now laying on the floor with only his eyes being able to move. He laid their and took each strike. He accompanied his pains with matching groans and indiscernible noises. He was basically half conscious at this point.

KJ stopped the mace in mid-air and dropped it onto the ground beside him. "How was it, done for the day?"

Kabal's pupils jolted as his weak voice came out. "Yes... yes please. It is finally over."

KJ squinted his eyes at Kabal, his voice grew a bit excited. "Oh..... what happened to you. You seemed to be out of energy but as soon as it's over your eyes jolt up. If you had this much energy you should've used it to keep getting up. Now flip over, we are only half done."

Kabal slowly turned over to his side. KJ could see the misery in his eyes as he turned over. "Hold on for now, you are capable of accomplishing much more than you may believe. Now for the next strike, hmmmm. I'll begin at your back and follow the stomach and continue a similar path."

AHH AHH AH PLEASE UGHHHHHHHHHH MERCY MERCY PLEASE JUST A SMALL BREAK PLEAAAASEEEE!!!

KJ ignored it all until his job was finally over. After KJ was done he wiped the sweat off of his forehead. "Before you reach the Spirit Connection Realm this will be your daily training. Every day that you are willing and able..... you will receive this training. As you may have noticed, there wasn't much blood. Luckily I'm an expert so i reduced the bloodshed."
