I stepped through and sat in the chair marked Right Hand as all four commanders stood and saluted me, I waved them off and the commander of the Scale squad, Tristan, spoke up. "Thank you for coming Lord Arius, as you know both you and Lord Death will not be in Caemeterium as of first light and we were all wondering who would be in charge of keeping everything in order while you're both absent." He spoke in a loud voice that compensated for his small body and lack of skill in kulling. I growled lowly and stood up. "Tristan, if you must know, Björn will be in charge as he is the most skilled fighter and is the only person that i know will follow my orders down to the letter, aside from commander Paula. If anyone has any objections take it up with commander Björn now if you'll excuse me I need to rest." With that i reopened the rift and stepped back through and fell back into my bed and finally fell asleep.
I woke up about an hour before first light and put on my armour and read through the scroll about the Silver City trying to find a good place to open a rift. Soon I hear a knock at my door and the same gruff old voice calls in, "Lord Death requests your appearance at the main entrance Lord Arius." I thanked him and gathered up all of the things i would need for the meeting: my scythe, the scroll of the Silver City, and the key too the main entrance. After everything was in order I left for the main entrance as the early birds all stood looking at me in awe, I very rarely wear the right hand's armour when i did it was either for a meeting or for a battle both of which barely happen.
I arrived at the main entrance and saw Lord Death in a similar armour carrying his scythe and a crown made of gold in the shape of crow skulls. "Hello my boy I hope you slept well." I nodded and his eye sockets filled with blue flames as he handed me the crown. "Put it on Arius, and we can be off." I did as he said and he took his scythe and cut a huge rift leading to the Silver City. We stepped through and ended up im front of the meeting hall. "This place smells like chicken shit." Lord Death stated as two big angels flew down from the guards station at the top of the building. "Halt state your business or you will be eliminated!" One bellowed pointing a lance at Lord death and myself. I went for my scythe but was stopped by Lord Death. "Take a good long look at us pigeon and say that again." The threat hung heavy and the angels immediately lowered their weapons. "Our apologizes Lord Death, we have been on edge since the battle at demons peak. Please head inside The Creator is waiting.
Once inside Lord Death sat at his throne while i remained standing on his right side. The Creator was already sitting in his throne which looked the most ornate of the five thrones which never surprised me. "Ah Death how are you this morning?" The Creator's voice was deep and comforting but seemed not at all interested in what Lord Death was about to say. "Well your Grace it has barely started but I am most excited to see what our fellow leaders have to say." I heard a small pop and smelled roses and fresh smells as Lady Life appeared in the middle of the room. "Ah hello your Grace and hello Death," she winked at Lord Death and nodded in my direction. From behind her Anagi smiled at me and waved. "Hello Lord Arius hello Lord Death." She bowed towards The Creator and didn't say anything else both Lady Life and Anagi went to her respective throne and we all sat in silence waiting.
The next to arrive was The Demon King a flash of hellfire announced his arrival both he and the one behind him, who looked like the Black Hand, sat at the throne that was made of literal fire. Lastly, with a gust of hot wind The Dragon King landed in the area with a humanoid on his back. All of the Leader classes looked shocked to see the humanoid on his back. "Yes," the dragon's voice was deep and rough like stone crumbling and fire igniting, "he is scaleless get over it." The scaleless dragon smiled and bowed to all of the leaders.
"Great now that we're all here lets get started." The Creator stated. The Demon King stood from his throne and turned to talk to The Creator. "As you well know your grace we have waged war for a very long time and I have grown weary of this senseless fighting. I called this meeting to discuss a treaty." Everyone looked shocked, even the Demon King's Black Hand. "Well Azazel, what are your terms?" The Creator asked coming to his feet. I looked at Lord Death and noticed the fire in his sockets was low. "Is everything alright my lord?" I whispered he nodded as The Demon King began to speak.
"I want my outpost back the one at Demon's Peak and I want Bael released from your prison." I started to speak but Lord Death stood silencing me. "Absolutely not, my right hand was almost killed, I was almost killed I will not stand for that hot headed excuse for a demon to be released from his cage!" Lord Death's anger startled me. Both The Creator and The Demon King looked at him but he stood his ground. "That demon, you bag of bones, happens to be my only son and heir I will not stand for his incarceration and I will not stand for your arrogance. I am fully aware of your assassination attempt and it will be dealt with accordingly, by my own hand. Sit down and mind your tounge lest I have it removed." The threat fell on deaf ears as Lord Death lifted his hand and gathered enough energy to decimate a small planet when The Dragon King roared forcing us to cover our ears.
"Enough! I will not stand for blood to be shed for pitiful reasons. Death seat yourself, Azazel mind your tounge and continue your arrangements I have places to be." The mighty dragon touched my mind with his own and I heard his words. 'Calm your master boy or I shall do it for you' I gulped and put my hand on Lord Death's shoulder. "Calm down my lord. If worse comes to worse I can always have commander Björn send the twins to kill Bael." Lord Death remained silent but I could see the flames in his sockets die down a little.
"Now that the unpleasantness is behind us we can continue. Azazel your outpost shall be returned to you control but your right hand must stay where he is. When the ascension ceremony occurs he will be released but until then he must stay in his cage." The Creator's words seemed to calm The Demon King down a bit as he went back to his throne. "Very well." The Demon King said simply as The Creator sat as well. "Lord Death, do you have anything to add to this meeting?" The Creator turned his head to where Death's throne sat. "I do not." was all he said as the same question was given to Lady Life and The Dragon King and the same answer was given both times.
"Good, now on too our next order of business. Right hands, leave us I will send someone to gather you when our business is taken care of." With a nod from all right hands present we left to kill the time.
