Why customers should buy from you?

I start this chapter with an important question. Most products will have competitors and question is why should your potential customers buy from you if they can get it elsewhere. To capture the market you need to know what is your unique selling point. I'm sure you've heard USP elsewhere from other books. Your USP will differentiate you from the rest of the competition. Get as much UPS as possible and you're on race track to be the champion beating all your challengers. You can only have your UPS if you know your customers wants and also know what your competitors are offering. Are you going to compete on pricing? This is what most competitors do they slash their prices and expect customers to buy from them. This strategy is like a child's game and does not benefit the seller at all. That is why I do not list my product on E commerce platform. You can try to list your products so that you can get the feel on how the market react. To see if you receive any sales and queries.

So how do you know what USP to implement in your sales strategy?

Know your customers first. What are they expecting from you. What are their priorities when making purchases. You can research on reviews from e commerce platforms. Normally there will be product reviews. Take note and implement it in your sales process. Every sales will be important to you no matter how big or how small the quantity is. You have to treat it equally and dutifully follow through your sales process. Here are some USP you might want to consider.

1) delivery speed

2) product quality

3) money back or replacement guarantee for any manufacturing defects.

4) your unique brand

5) promotion campaigns

6) special discount but only offer to your regular customers by sending direct email or messages

7) free gifts for bulk order

You can promote all your UPS and make it known when you do your sales marketing. Stay on top of your competitors and publish any testimonials you receive from your customers. This will help you in your business. Customers usually will look at reviews and recommendations from other buyers before they make purchases. Offer advice and suggestions to your new customers so that they do know how to use the product properly. If you think about it a small startup business has much to offer and will have a very personal approach to customers. These are things that big giant companies could not do as they are all up to sell at a larger scale.
