Two Faced

It was an odd sight that attracted the attention of both young and old. Tied with vines, Lilah dragged the body of the Premas behind. A trail of blood was left as she dragged it with all her might.

Her STR stats was already 23, she designated five of her free points to it and increased her strength to barely make it to town.

Using the STR stats she noticed the change of her physical strength. On a side note, she tried jumping higher than before after raising her STR, but it seems like jumping and the like is tied to AGT than STR and CON.

She consulted the pocketbook and this idea was correct.

She was attracting a lot of attention. The act of Lilah dragging that huge body was bewildering. Just how does she muster so much strength through those dainty little hands of hers?

Lilah dragged the Premas to the shabby looking Hunter's Association. She was just about to open the doors when she bumped into one of the hunters coming out, she fell into her bum as she was already losing most of his strength.

"Watch where you are going brat?! Do you not know what this place is?! Play somewhere else and suck your thumb there?!" It was a burly man, with scars all over his body.

"I apologize." Lilah apologized and patted her self. She moved the side to let them pass through. Creating troubles for such matters is not something a person with a brain would do.

Avoiding trouble when you can, must be prioritized.

The scarred man saw her actions and scoffed. But then, his eyes caught sight of the Premass she was dragging and after seeing it, he smiled and said, "If you are sorry then I shall accept your apology and because I am feeling extra generous today I will not pursue any more troubles with you if you were to gift that Premas to me."

"I am sorry, please let me off this one-time oh-great-warrior, my sisters and I need to eat.."

"Screw your sisters, I'll send you to hell if you don't choose what is right for you dirty Homeless bastard!"

"What did your trash mouth just said?!" In an instant, her attitude turned a complete 180. She glared at the scarred man and secretly pulled the bone knife from behind.

The scarred man saw the look in her eyes and he didn't like it one bit, "I am giving you the chance to apologize, kid, don't push me to make you do it involuntarily!"

"Don't spout words you can back up, weakling."

"Who are you calling weakling?! Do you not see my scars as the proof of my glorious might?! I'll teach you, brat!" The scarred man threw a punch to Lilah but Lilah nimbly dodged to the side and using her small body she got under the scarred man and kicked him behind the knee causing him to fall to his knees.

She mounted his back and grabbed him by the neck. Taking out a knife and pointing it to his arteries, Lilah's voice turned cold, "What did you say? Repeat."

[Rigoro LVL 4] a weakling is what he is, and so she said he is a weakling. She was never scared of a fight; she was never scared of killing; she just didn't want to cause a commotion.

But after having her sisters threatened, to hell with such thoughts, it is best to root the person who is trying to take her life away, 'It will be just like before'.

She was ready to severe the artery on his neck, but she heard a voice coming from behind, "Stay your hands. Kill him and you will be dealt with properly!"

It was another man and unlike the bastard Rigoro, he was much more well-kept and his LVL was also quite high, [Lima LVL 13], his name was orange.

Lilah observed the newcomer and stayed her hand. But she carefully managed to create a simple slit on his neck resulting in blood to flow. When this happened, Lilah got off him and once more her way of acting got flip another 180, she began acting innocent saying, "I-I deeply apologize he threatened my sister's life and threw a punch at me s-so I-I was forced to defend myself with vio-violence."

Rigoro saw through what is happening and immediately raised his voice to complain, "She's lying, I never said anything like that. She was the one acting rudely and I was gracious enough to give her leeway! Also, why are you acting like that you brat?!"

"W-we can check the security footage, the Hunters Association boasts of their defenses so I am sure you would have some in your entrance, we can see who th-threw the first punch and who threatened who." She retorted back.

Lima looked down on the loli lowering her head to apologize and waved his hand to dismiss what she might think is happening, "It is fine I will believe the lass, I already saw what happened earlier and I merely did not interfere. The lass is innocent and will not face punishment but you, you are Hunter but threatens the civilian, so you will have your license revoke is what I would like to say but you also injured a hunter so let us end this now or I'll punish you both."

"What?!"

"I agree, thank you very much."

"Why, you have any problem?" Lima looked down upon Rigoro and the other party backed down and shrunk back and didn't speak further.

Lilah won this one. She celebrated in her mind.

"Lass, are you here for something? Like, selling that Premas?"

"I-I am!" She stuttered and showed a flushed expression.

Lima, a professional Hunter was taken aback by the lass' expression. She was but a child, a cute child to boot. Added to that her scrawny figure, people will without a doubt pity her.

Lima cleared his throat and offered, "Is that so, then I shall deal with it for you as a form of apology for the misdemeanor of my subordinate. Have you had transactions with this branch before?"

"I have!"

"Then tell me your name and the number of your Registrar, we will send it to you later."

"Th-thank you."

Lilah gave the minor details to Lima before leaving. Before she disappeared from sight, she bowed to Lima once again to show her gratitude and once she disappeared from sight, her expression reverted to her usual cold and indifferent self.

"Is he a predator? I need to be careful."

She took in a deep breath and once again she heads out for the forest once again. She had gained what she wanted and will now be heading back to gain level.

In her going to the Hunter's Association this time around she confirmed something crucial Hunters are not so strong in terms of level. From her pocketbook, a LVL 4 hunter is rather normal and leveling up is rather hard.

But some people levels up easier than others, the reason is not stated.

Lilah can see the importance of LVL and so, she set out to become stronger once again.

As the sun began to set, Lilah returned home from the forest, this time, she is dragging six Premas, she was already at LVL 6.
