Struggles to Learn

Arjuna sat on a chair in the archery guild facing the gnome master who was drawing an outline for him to see on the blackboard in front of them.

The gnome master was busy drawing a bow and showing the angles and required strength to use it. Arjuna sat watching him busily draw with a focused but extremely tired expression.

Arjuna looked like he was worn out, after gathering herbs in the morning, then going to the alchemy guild to learn potion making and now going to the archery guild to learn the under the gnome.

The gnome didn't notice Arjuna's tired expression and continued talking

"I'm going over the basics again so that I can be sure that you can use the skill that I'm about to teach you"

At first, Arjuna was excited at the possibility of getting a new skill, But the gnome master had repeated that way too many times for him to count. Every time he went to the archery guild the gnome master wouldn't even show him a bow or take him out to practice target shooting. Instead, he was brought to the classroom he was in currently, to get lectured.

The gnome master was talking about the bowstring and how the tautness of the string would be incredibly important to the archer. Arjuna tried his best to pay attention, he really did but god he already knew all of this stuff, from the skills he was taught back on Jason's home planet and from the books that were programmed into his head. In fact, he probably knew more theoretical knowledge than most of the archers in the guild currently.

Arjuna accidentally drowned out the gnome master archer out, but Boops covered for him and recorded the entire lecture so he could review it later. Before Arjuna knew it the gnome master placed his pointer stick on the blackboard and addressed Arjuna.

"Alright that's all that you need to know, tomorrow ill teach you some real skills"

Arjuna perked up and faced the archer master with a bright expression

"yes"

The gnome master looked at Arjuna and muttered to himself while rubbing his short bead

"hmm you really are a gifted and diligent student to stick through all of this"

Arjuna was already walking back to the archery guilds' main hall. The frequent trips he took here made his face familiar and if you added that with his attraction aura skill and looks he had already become popular in the guild. People waved to him in greeting while others invited Arjuna to sit down with them and eat. Arjuna greeted the people who waved to him and politely refused the invitation to sit down, joking that he would make their wallets empty if he did.

In truth, Arjuna really didn't want to talk to anyone right now. It just felt like a pain in the butt to talk and think about how you seemed in the eyes of others. Besides Jason had some leftover herbs to bring to the adventures guild.

He still had been doing quests for them, even though his alchemy teacher told him many times he didn't, but Arjuna had made friends in the adventures guild, so he did it anyway.

Arjuna walked down the main road of the city of dawn. And fitting to the name the sun was setting. Arjuna had spent the entire day either doing labor work or learning from teachers. He felt like he was being cooped up in a cage, but for his master and twin brother, he would endure as much as he needed to.

The City of Dawn it seems was named that for a reason. Arjuna looked at the streets that had a reflective stone paved into them every few feet or so. Perhaps they were used for something else, but they reflected the light from the setting sun until the entire main street was filled with a warm glow. The shadows were chased away momentarily and everything in the street. From the street vendors carts to the tall city hall. They sparkled. Yeah, they all sparkled like a kid had thrown them everywhere when the city had been founded and they couldn't get it off.

Maybe the source of the sparkles only reacted to the setting and rising sun's light. Jason didn't know even though he had been in the city for a while now. What he did know was that this phenomenon was definitely the reason why the city was named the Dawn city heck and it wasn't even dawn yet.

If it was this beautiful under the light of the setting sun, Arjuna could only imagine what it would be like when the sun rose. Sadly during that time, he was out gathering herbs so he probably wouldn't be able to see it for a while.

Arjuna kept on walking down the street. The residents of the city didn't stop to admire the beautiful scenery ether, they were probably used to it. Arjuna arrived at the adventures guild. He opened the door and a massive greeting was made for him.

People all around the guild smiled at him, just like when he excited the archery guild. People waved, greeted, and even invited him over. Arjuna again reciprocated, the adventures in the guild were extremely thankful for Arjuna since he was basically the person who gave them to potions that they had currently. As the army had bought the rest of the potions. So Arjuna was basically a lifesaver to them and it helped since he had all of the factors to make them like him.

He was hard-working, had the attraction aura was handsome, and was a good source of potions. Some people were jealous of him and tried to move against him, but they disappeared suddenly for some reason.

Arjuna walked to the receptionist after kindly dealing with the people who greeted him. He greeted the receptionist nicely and started dumping bag after bag of herbs. The receptionist looked at the piles of herbs with a surprised expression. She looked at Arjuna

"there more of them than last time"

"Yeah, I decided that you guys needed some extra"

The receptionist put on a thrilled expression she looked at Arjuna intensely

"Does that mean that you'll start giving more to the adventures guild?"

Arjuna cocked his head to the side and answered

"Yeah, maybe"

The receptionist tried to pull in the big smile on her face but it was impossible. She quickly said

"we the adventures guild will pay 10% more then what the alchemy guild is paying for"

Arjuna was taken aback but answered calmly

"Okay, whatever you say"

Arjuna left the guild, with the celebrating receptionist behind him, and all of the adventures waving goodbye to him like he was an old friend. Arjuna really didn't understand why they were so chummy with so quickly, but whatever they gave a lot of points to his master so it was good.

Arjuna walked to the inn that he was staying at, paid for the room, and logged off. Arjuna was fricking exhausted and he didn't even have enough energy to go get for or anything, he just collapsed on the sofa in the living room and slept until morning.

In the world of WOW at night a hooded figure was hurrying up to the archery guild. He stopped at the door and tried to open it. It was locked so the hooded figure grabbed something from his pockets, held it to the doorknob, and chanted softly. The object gave off a blue glow and the door clicked open. The hooded figure swiftly stored into the guild's main hall.

The hooded figure looked around the guildhall, it was searching for something. It pulled out a round orb and started to chant. A map of the interior was mad and a red line ran through the map showing the hooded figure the way.

It approached the door that lead to where the archer's living quarters were. But a sudden voice sounded above the hooded figure.

"Ya really can't try and intrude on a rangers territory without expecting a few arrows in the head."

The hooded figure quickly retreated, and jumped back throwing an orb with grey powder inside it. The moment the orb crashed onto the floor a grey gas filled the air. The gnome archer landed on the floor outside of the grey cloud and observed it quietly.

From the grey gas, the hooded figure emerged. The gnome readied his bow. He held onto one of the arrows and got ready to fight. But the hooded figure didn't move instead it shifted its hood to the left to let the gnome master get a glimpse.

The gnome with his excellent eyesight easily spotted the face. And lowered his bow.

"y-you, what are you doing here?"

The hooded figure drew closer to the gnome archer, the gnome archer didn't move instead his eyes widened.

The hooded figure got closer and closer.
