Perseus snatched a guild wagon, the first one he'd ever obtained from the system.

Rocky was using the other one that Jason had purchased to transport supplies to Jack.

Perseus had already asked Juno to get them another transport wagon, which he expected her to bring back tonight.

Just as Perseus flicked the reigns he heard the sound of a group of kids running after him. Perseus turned around to see a group of young guild members running after him.

"master!" they cried out "take us with you" Perseus questioned why they wanted to go with him. After all, they loved the guild house. But then he saw Natalie at the entrance of the guild house searching for them with a tray of salad in her hand.

The guild members looked at him with eyes filled with desperation and a hint of fear as they stood in a line.

Perseus counted 10 of them pleading for his help. He turned around waving them in

"alright hop on," he said urging them to hurry up.

With an excited yell, the group of young guild members jumped onto the wagon excitedly shouting and talking to each other.

Perseus shook his head and quickly snapped the reigns.

They quickly started to drive down the trail. Natalie glanced at Perseus and the wagon that he was driving. She spotted the tiny heads of the guild members poking out as they nervously watched her hopeing that she wouldn't spot them.

Natalie let out a sigh and placed down the tray of salad and waved goodbye to Perseus and the group of kids who had decided to play stowaway.

Perseus glanced back to see Natalie waving goodbye to them and then to the guild members who were jumping around in the wagon, happy that they had escaped, completely in view.

"I'm so screwed aren't I?" Perseus muttered to himself as they slowly peeled off the trail and into the forest.

And so the group of 11 people, one guild master or Perseus and ten young guild members was formed as they started to travel down the road, Perseus addressed the guild members as he looked forward at the trail in front of him.

"you guys have your weapons?"

The sound of swords, daggers, and more being unsheathed was heard in response.

After being trained by Jason, Perseus, Jack, and the Starke couple, the majority of the guild members had learned basic weapon skills. Some had already followed Jack's lead and used daggers, while others used spears and swords, though they struggled to hold them up at times.

Already, groups of young silver wing members could easily handle groups of goblins.

They averaged around level 20, which, while still quite low in comparison to Jason and Perseus, but was close to the average level of the current world's players.

Persues chuckled to himself thinking about how one of the junior bandits that he picked up could beat an average player in terms of level and possibly in strength.

Perseus called out to them again

"supplies?"

The young guild members again replied with a loud

"We each have 4 fish skewers and water"

Perseus chuckled to himself

"that should be enough for today"

The forest surrounding the transport wagon started to give way to open fields. The young guild members couldn't help but lean their heads out of the wagon and try and pick up some of the hanging dandelions on the side of the road. They remembered that Natalie really liked them and wanted to give some to her.

As they headed into the plains. Perseus could start to see players in the fields hunting rabbits and other stray monsters from archers shooting dozens of arrows to mages blasting them around with fireballs. All sorts of players had converged in the frount of Herdita.

And in frount of them was the city of Herdita. The jewel of the kingdom. The base of the Rose household. The city protected by both the rose knights and the kingdom's navy.

The open sea could be seen glistening at the very edge of Perseus's view and ships could be seen traveling into Herdita's ports. Wagons and carriages were traveling in and out of the city gates while the walls stood tall and strong.

The young guild members constantly looked around taking all of the new sights and smells while Perseus drove the guild wagon into the city and through the city gates.

They entered the city and the sights of bustling crowds and the fishy smell that came from the stalls at the side of the streets greeted them in a refreshing sight.

Perseus continued driving the wagon down the main street, while the young guild members looked around with wide eyes full of curiosity and wonder. They'd seen the view before, but it seems they couldn't get enough of it. The various species, the people wielding weapons they couldn't even imagine using. The manner in which they were all dressed. The various emblems and badges worn by some to indicate which guild they belonged to.

There was just so much to see and so little time to see it.

Perseus passed through the market keeping his eyes out for anything that he could possibly buy. He did pass by a few good-quality fish that he bought for a good price. He even considered buying the entire stall out but decided against it knowing that he could always bring a group later to just go fishing for more.

Something did catch his eye. He spotted an NPC standing behind a stall selling pendants. The NPC was an old man with a grey beard that reached his chest, he stood tall but his entire body seemed frail and weak.

The pendants that were laid out in the stalls drew Perseus' attention. Pendants in a variety of colors ranging from dark blue to windy green. They were all decorated some with wings, others with roses, and some with just pebbles.

Perseus would have normally passed by the stall but something about it caught his attention along with the fact that his sword Arondight kept on vibrating each time they got closer to it as if it was urging Perseus to look closer.

Perseus walked over to the stall and asked the NPC

"Are you selling these?"

The NPC nodded his head solemnly

"yes, young man, but only one per person"

Perseus raised his eyebrows. He usually knew what that meant. It meant that the pendants in frount of him might have some sort of secret.

Perseus looked at the pendents. There were 15 in all, each of them decorated and made uniquely.

"how much?"

He asked pointing towards a pendant with a light yellow crystal inside, decorated with wings that seemed to cover parts of the crystal with it.

The NPC chuckled and looked at Perseus

"that one? well, that one took a long time for me to make, 2 silver"

Perseus grimaced at the exorbrant price. That was more than a few week's worths of wage of an average person!

But then again Perseus was in control of a part of the slums with a steady income from the taxes that they got and the silver wings member's rewards from completing the adventure guild quests.

Perseus had more than 15 gold to spend that wasn't going to be used for any immediate funds.

"Yeah", he said to himself "let's make a gamble, after all, it is a game"

Perseus placed down 3 pieces of gold.

"I'll buy all of them," He said watching the old man's face carefully.

The old man's face didn't move a single bit when he saw the 3 shining gold coins. Honestly, Perseus expected the old man to react a bit differently but it made things a bit interesting for him

The old man shook his head again.

"sorry young one, one per person, even if you have heard the rumor, you can't buy my entire stock"

Perseus let out an evil grin and pointed to the wagon full of kids.

"I'm buying it for them too"

The old man followed Perseus's finger to see a group of kids waving towards him with smiles on their faces as they waited for Perseus at the wagon.

The old man looked at Perseus and then at the kids and then back again. He let out a sigh.

"Alright, fine you can take 11 of them"

Saying that the old man took the three gold coins giving Perseus back 8 silver coins.

Perseus let out a laugh and started to collect the pendants that he thought might have a secret. He selected one that was light green and had leaves decorating it. Another one light brown one that looked like it was encased in a solid cage of rock. A blue one with colorful coral decorating it.

Just as Perseus was about to reach for the red one. The old man stopped him, he took Perseus's hand and placed another pendant into it. The old man whispered to Perseus quietly

"I think this one will go well with your sword"

Perseus opened his hand to see a pendant with a single miniature sword on it. It had a silver chain around it so that Perseus could wear it around his neck. There was no crystal or decoration around it, it was just simply a white sword.

Perseus looked at the old man who was smiling warmly at him. Perseus asked quietly

"will I be able to see you again?"

The old man shrugged his shoulders

"depends on your luck"

Perseus let out a light laugh and departed to the wagon where the many guild members were waiting for him.

The old man watched as Perseus walked back to the wagon muttering to himself

"that sword, it holds a spirit"
