"If you are that smart, can you please explain why did I ask these questions from you?"

"What kind of question is that? He probably wants to test if I am that smart and doesn't want to accept the fact that I got a higher score than Gwen." Peter started thinking before giving his response.

"First of all, I need to say that you're either a detective or a policeman."

"He is not stupid" Mrs. Stacy said.

"You said that you have seen lots of cases at your work. These cases make you nervous about Gwen and the places she goes to. So, it wasn't difficult to find out that you work for the police. There are two variants - policeman or a detective. However, I am 99% sure that you are a policeman because I noticed a police uniform on the hangers to the right of the entrance. Most probably police captain"

"But how does it relate to my question?"

"It does. You asked about my money source because you assumed the possibility that I am selling drugs or doing other illegal activities. After all, that is mostly the way teenagers earn lots of money. Moreover, you surely face and interrogate young criminals at your work, so you wanted to check me. And after hearing my response you were very surprised and wanted to know how smart I am. That's why you asked me about my average for the last year. Then, when you found out that my average was higher than Gwen's you wanted to check my deductive skills by asking a very confusing question which is difficult to answer. You most probably thought that I cheated on my exams because getting such a high score is very unlikely." Peter responded calmly.

"WOW" Gwen's mom said loudly. She was shocked by Peter's deductive skills and could not believe the fact that everything he said was true.

Mr. Stacy was sitting still, he held a cup of tea in his left hand. Peter could see an astonishment in his eyes.

"I've to admit that you earned my respect, everything you said was right. You're a very smart guy, not even the detectives I work with at police can use deductive reasoning method that fast and effectively" he said with a smile on his face.

"Thank you! To be honest, I think Gwen should've gotten the highest score, I just got very lucky with some of the test questions."

"Come on, don't be humble. If u got the highest score, it means that you worked hard and deserved it"

They heard Gwen going down the stairs, she finished packing.

"I am ready!" she said happily.

"Already?" her mom asked.

"Yeah, I just took the most important things. We are going there for only a few days anyway"

"By the way, how are you going to get there?"

"Using train" Peter responded. "I already bought the tickets and we need to be there in about an hour"

"Thanks for letting us go again" Gwen said before hugging her parents. "Did you have a nice talk?" she asked her dad.

"We did, he is a smart guy!"

"Goodbye!" Peter said.

"Peter!" Mr. Stacy said.

"Yes?"

"How did you know that I am a police captain?"

"I just assumed, the house is too good for a regular policeman"

Peter asked Harry's driver to be there before they entered the house, so the car was already waiting for them.

(40 minutes later)

They got to the airport, Harry was waiting for them.

"Hi, you got her even faster than I expected" he said. "We still have only 15 minutes, let's hurry up. Give me your luggage"

"Hi Harry, what about the documents?" Gwen asked.

"The contract is on the table inside the jet. You just need to sign it. The documents will be checked when we get to Washington. Just get inside"

Everyone got inside on time. The private jet was perfect, it had everything - a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, couches, a bar, and even 2 bedrooms. It was extremely big compared to other jets and was wide in high in size.

"I have never imagined I would go on a date-trip to Washington on a private jet. I am leaving New-York for the first time in my life"

"I am sure it will be a good journey. Peter planned everything out" Harry said.

"It will, we will have lots of interesting places to visit" Peter said with a smile on his face.

The plane took off...
