"How did she find that out? Is she lying and trying to trick me again? I cannot really tell, she's good at hiding her emotions, but I can see that she's analyzing me as well. Did she persuade Jameson to do that? No, it's impossible to negotiate with him... I need to ask her, if her version isn't realistic, it will mean that she's lying to me again. This is the only way to find out." Peter thought in a matter of a second.

"What's he thinking about? Did I miss something? Most probably no, he probably thinking of the way to trick me. But won't be able to do that, I'm not even lying this time Peter. You've no idea what my actions could've cost me if even a minor detail went wrong... but it was worth it. I found out the truth, there's no way you'll fool me this time" Gwen thought after her words.

"Really?" Peter asked sarcastically. "How did you do that then?" Peter said in an arrogant manner.

"Should I tell him? If I don't, he won't believe me. I need to show him that I know, he's just trying to test me" Gwen thought before responding.

"You remember I told you that Daily Bugle was the most suspicious newspaper?"

"Briefly. What do you mean by suspicious?"

"They are the only newspaper in New-York that was presenting Spider-Man in a good way in almost all of their articles. Of course, there can be a simple explanation to that, like the author being a fan of a superhero, but there's another thing that's very outstanding. Daily Bugle is also the only newspaper in the city that has an article about Spider-Man in each of their weekly releases. And finally, they are most often the first ones to post the latest news about him. All of this made me understand that the one who writes these articles is either Spider-Man's friend or himself..."

"Her reasoning is very logical, but that doesn't mean anything without proof. How did she find out that I'm working for them?"

"You probably want to know how I found out that it was you all this time. It happened yesterday when I went to their building. I said that I wanted to talk to their boss and that I have exclusive information to share with him. After only a few minutes I was sitting in front of Mr. Jameson. He was very rude and tried to pressure me. He kept saying that he's busy and didn't have much time. I understood that the only way to make him tell the article's author is to make a deal. This is the only way to negotiate with this type of person..."

"This is a perfect explanation for Mr. Jameson. DAMN IT! She wasn't lying all this time. She even used the same tactic to talk to him" Peter thought.

"I offered an exchange of information and said that I want to know the name of a person who's responsible for the articles about Spider-Man, but he refused to respond. He was very stubborn, so I decided to provoke him by risking. I said something like, "You know, Peter was right. You're a terrible boss and a miserable man". You cannot even imagine how furious he became, which was what I exactly wanted"

"People tend to be very honest when they'are either angry or drunk. She used the first method to provoke him..." Peter thought after her words.

"... there was clear anger in his eyes and he said "WHAT DID HE SAY? HE'LL NEVER WRITE ARTICLES EVER AGAIN. TELL HIM THAT I WILL FIND A NEW SUPERHERO NERD. GO OUT!!!". The manager tried to calm him down before I went out of the room. Seems like he doesn't like you at all. Did you blackmail him to get the job?" Gwen added.

"She wasn't lying... she knows everything. Harry didn't tell anything to her, she made her own research and found out my real identity. There is no point to lie anymore" Peter concluded his thoughts.

He looked directly into her eyes... Peter realized that this was the moment when her life was going to change forever.

"You're right. I am Spider-Man" Peter said calmly.

"You admitted... I knew you were him, but there was a part of me that didn't want to believe that" Gwen said emotionally. She started crying...

Peter hugged her and said...

"It's ok, Gwen"

"No, it's not!" she said.

"What? I told you my biggest secret, how is that not ok?"

"I don't even know who you really are?"

Peter looked confused and tried to calm her down.

"I am Spider-Man, New-York's hero and your boyfriend"

"I don't know..." she continued. "I don't know that your real identity is? With your friends, you're calm, funny, and smart. But when you wear that mask you change completely." she continued.

"What do you mean? That's still me, Gwen. This is my secret job."

"Your job is killing others!" she said.
