Devil's Civil War - Rihan x Ajuka / Jeanne x Serafall

After Damon created a bounded field to negate the damage inside and not disturb the camp, the combatants readied themself for the start of the spar.

"Ready? Start!"

The first to move was Rihan, who appeared right in front of Ajuka, his katana already mid-swing against his foe. Ajuka was mildly surprised by his opponent's speed but just blocked the blade with a magic circle before launching a punch narrowly missing as Rihan moved back just in time.

Just as Rihan readied himself to attack three green magic circles appeared in front of Ajuka before mana bullets rained on his direction. Rihan used his speed to evade or cut the bullets before finding an opening where he swung his sword sending a wave of fire against Ajuka. For a second it looked like it would have hitter just for a flash of green to happen before Rihan's fire changed direction abruptly and went against him instead.

'That must be the Kankara Formula that Damon told me,' thought Rihan.

Before coming to the underworld Damon had told them a little about the leaders of the Anti-Satan Faction and the Kankara Formula was one of the things described, Ajuka's specialized move which has the ability to control all phenomenon using equations and formulas.

Rihan swung his sword again, sending another wave of fire to negate the first.

"Very well, I have seen enough," said Rihan. "Let's start, partner."

"O'Spirit of Terror and Meditation, dwell in my body and turn me into a demon - Astaroth!"

White fire sprang into life like a tornado around Rihan before dying out to reveal his Djinn Equip. Snake-like orange hair like flames, scales growing in his arms as a dragon-like figure of whitish-blue flames circled around him.

Ajuka didn't know what to say. He heard his opponents chant and based on it and this new appearance he could make a guess of what happened, he wasn't called a genius for anything. However, his guess was too absurd to be true.

Rihan noticed his opponent shocked expression and laughed a little.

"Yes, you heard it right, I said Astaroth," said Rihan. "Because of the contract with Solomon, when the demons died they followed him off in the after-life before following back when he reincarnated.

Damon gave them the option of making contracts with others that they found worth so long as they continue to follow him. I have a contract with Astaroth, the Djinn of Terror and Meditation."

"Djinn?" Asked Ajuka confused.

"Yes, the seventy-two demons became Djinns' when they turned into spirits."

"I see..." Said Ajuka. "Then let's continue, I want to see my ancestor power."

"As you wish!"

This time Ajuka didn't see it, it was only his instincts that made him move to left just in time for a sword to appear. For anyone untrained what they would see were just two blurs moving from place to place, leaving scorch marks and small holes in the ground. Flames, magic, and sword slashes left their marks unto the surrounds until both opponents moved away from each other.

"I think that's enough," said Ajuka. "Neither of us is using our full powers but I can see that you would be able to give some problem if not defeat those that just made to ultimate-class."

"Yes, you really are powerful," praised Rihan. "I hope in the future we could spar again."

"It seems they are about to finish as well."

"We can start now, Serafall," said Jeanne.

"Yes, let's do this Jeanne!"

Jeanne took a stance with her battle-flag, the also worked as a spear. She dodges the first two ice cones that were sent her way before shattering the third. Than Jeanne ran toward Serafall who had to dodge the fast moves from the spear, jumping from place to place. An ice-blue magic circle bloomed in the ground making a pillar of ice appear out of nowhere.

Jeanne blocked the move with her spear even as she was thrown backward. She then touched the ground with the tip of her spear and tree roots erupted from the floor whipping in Serafall's direction. At the same time, Serafall used fire magic to create a wall of flames to stop oncoming slash.

It was then that Serafal saw Rihan transformation, which she would it was so cool she had to imitate somehow but that's in the future, before turning to Jeanne with stars of her eyes.

"Can you do that too!?"

"Sure. I can't lose to Rihan after all," chuckled Jeanne.

"O'Spirit of Kindness and Mediation, dwell in my body and turn me into a demon - Phenex!"

Jeanne's hair elongated turning red in the first half and ending in a pale blond. Her clothes changed to a red battle-dress with gold ornaments and red with yellow tips feather-like gauntlets appeared in her hands.

Serafall, besides her childish behaviour, was by no means stupid. She just like Ajuka noticed what exactly that chant mean but chose to hear the explanation later. Now she had to deal with the tree that decided to sprout to life whipping their arms at her.

While the tree she had enchanted to work as automatons kept Serafall busy, Jeanne used a curse to seep her opponent energy. After all Life magic was not about just healing.

Serafall noticed the curse and that it was making her use more power than necessary for her spell and since she didn't have the time to break it she lashed out with a wave of ice magic, freezing the tree spirits and the ground beyond. Once done, she expelled the foreign magic in her system and called a halt on the spar.

"I think this is enough, you are really strong Jeanne!" Said Serafall.

"Thank you, I too think you are powerful Serafall," was Jeanne's answer. "They also seemed to finish, why don't we go back to have lunch?"

"Yes, let's go! By the way, call me Sera and I will call you Jean, okay?" demanded Serafall.

"Sure, I don't mind, Sera."

And as Serafall walked with Jeanne, a smile on her face, see new she had made a new friend.

So, what do guys think? There was no apparent victor but we know Ajuka and Serafall would have won at this point in time if it was a serious battle since both are at the ultimate-class but I don't know about the spar.

In the future Jeanne and Rihan will be just as powerful as them but that's another matter.

As for Serafall using fire magic, it is stated on the wiki that she is proficient in it just that she prefers Ice Magic.
