It shouldn't come with any surprise that the alliance went smoothly. A year has passed since the spar against Serafall and Ajuka.
In this time, there Jeanne and Rihan had the most battles while Damon stayed behind. Since they were in an official alliance with the Anti-Satan Faction, the group had to play the game with different rules. If Damon, an ultimate-class existence, went around every battlefield regardless of how powerful the enemy was the Satan-Faction would also start sending ultimate-class fighters to weed out their enemy numbers.
After all the battles Jeanne and Rihan had, devils from both factions gave them a nickname. Rihan was given the moniker Demon of Fear as for Jeanne, she was given the name Phoenix to represent her rule over life.
"Damon, it's urgent! Serafall has been battling Grayfia Lucifuge for days now however Sirzechs that was supposed to be the support has been stalled by a Fly Chimera," said Falbium Glasya-Labolas with a serious expression that rarely came to his face. "Please, bring reinforcements to Valefor territory and deal with Damaidosu Asmodeus!"
I didn't even bother to make a response. The moment Falbium finish, Damon teleported to the nearest regiment and after telling the commandment his orders he teleported again, this time to Valefor territory.
The moment Damon arrived he had to duck a magic blast coming from a woman with silver hair and a very developed body that was fighting against Serafall, who was every movement seemed to freeze a part of the land.
A kilometer away, a devil with crimson hair was trying to kill a huge fly-like monster with different animal parts. Than Damon locked on his target.
There was no small talk or hesitation in the movements. One second Damaidosu Asmodeus was blasting devils right and left, the next he was dodging mana bullets with enough force to open small craters on the ground.
Damaidosu saw a man with tanned skin and blue hair with multiple magic circles behind him, the culprit of the attacks. Without wasting time a barrier surrounded him, given the devil enough time to counterattack with his own magic. Lance-like projectiles were launched against Damon, who didn't even try to defend, his borg coming to life to stop the ones he couldn't dodge.
Damon than stopped the mana bullets only for the magic circle to rotate and try to capture Damaidosu with chains. The devil tried to stop the chain with his barrier magic but was surprised when the chain broke through it. It was then a game of catch, Damon and his chains pursuing and Damaidosu running around didn't and throwing magic when he could.
Caught you! Damaidosu was trapped in the chains and while he struggled to get out, a ray of lightning came down from the sky with enough force that other battles on the field had to stop and look.
When the light show finished, nothing remained of Damaidosu.
At least that what most thought, the ones with enough power noticed something amiss. In the place where Damaidosu was now a rock stood cracked.
Damon than dodge to the right, a sword coming close to cut him. He then made a semi flip kicking the devil away from him. There stood Damaidasu, a few burned marks on his body that were already healing albeit slowly.
Spatial dislocation. So instead of teleporting, since he didn't have time, he chose to switch places with something else.
"Can I know your name?"
"Damon Morders."
"Daimasu Asmodeus."
The next second they were clashing, sword against spear, devil magic against human magic. Sparks flew around, their bodies blurring and reappearing around the place.
The combatants separate themselves and Damon features started changing. He still had his tanned skin but now his once blue hair turned silvered-white. His mana was no longer kept in check, now visibly showing itself in a blackish red, so dense it looked like flames burning everything around.
Damaidosu prepared a full focus on his opponent. It was for naught as Damon appeared right in front of him, spear already lodge on his left shoulder. It was pure instinct that made him move a little of his heart would have been pierced. He didn't know how it happened, for Damaidosu didn't fell any teleportation magic.
Damon raised his left hand, prepared to give the final blow but Damaidosu was after for a second, slashing his sword only to see it pass through his enemy. He noticed that the spear on his shoulder also seemed to face and took the opportunity to give some distance between then.
That was Authority - Deceive. With his extensive knowledge, Damon finally created a new type of magic, the one that would be his main form of magic from now on.
Authority of the King, Jeanne sure knows how to name. It seems to be working pretty well. With this magic I'm basically forcing my will on reality, like a god but not at the same time. Using Authority - Deceive I made the concept of space think that I existed in a different dimension while still being in the Underworld, making my body phase.
Damaidose tried to teleport away only for Damon to interrupt.
"By my will teleportation, is forbidden."
Authority - Law. For a certain time, on the area, Damon's mana covered nothing could teleport.
Of course, this magic didn't come without its consequences. The same rules I decided for my enemies I have to abide too, meaning that I can't teleport either. After all, if the kind doesn't follow his laws, who will? Another consequence is that my enemy can fight the effects. For example, if I made those with demonic power get powerless in my presence it would only work a hundred percent for those at the beginning of high-class and lower. Anyone above that would only get weaker, the stronger and close to my level they are the less the effect.
