Waking from Sloth’s Dream

The Sin of Sloth's entire body began to fall over.

And from down below, Black Howler heard Lyghtning yell, "Timber~~r!"

As that body continued to drop, the dream world around them slowly shifted back and forth between the dream and the third floor.

For those of them who witnessed this event, the constant switch was quite jarring.

"What's happening?" Jaybird asked.

"As I said, timber," Lyghtning replied.

The giant's fall was almost slow as he fell back to earth, and as his head slammed down on the stone floor, so too did the world right itself and those who dreamt woke from their slumbers.

Black Howler blinked his eyes open.

"I love this game," he whispered so that no one else could hear him.

He sat up and reached out for the broken blade lying next to him, inspecting it for the first time since Argonaut shaved off its top half.
