CALEB QUESTION HIMSELF

Whispering to himself as he drives, "What the hell is wrong with me? I never got this agitated before. Jezell touches used to feel good but today it was irritating like hell.

We have been planning to elope for months now, but suddenly that idea makes me feel sick to my stomach. Why is that?

And what is it about that young lady that makes me want to know her better? She looks so beautiful in that pink and white dress. Her white shoes look so neat on her small foot and the bag is very expensive."

Recalling Jezell was gloating over one a few days ago. "Is that why she was behaving that way with me when she sees her with that bag? Boy women are so different they confuse me so much. It was sad though seeing her beautiful bag drenched."

Recalling her smile as she stood in the mall, "Why didn't she say something when I shouted at her? Oh God, if only I knew it was her that I bounce, I won't have shouted at her, but it was quite a coincidence bouncing into the same person twice within one hour.'

Trying to relax being alone now, Caleb realized, "Jezell was right, that young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? It was the first time seeing her in the mall when she collided with us, and it was not planned, it was an accident, but she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere?"

Caleb was not able to diminish that smile from his mind and why was she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like this before and it irritated the hell out of me.

Then running in front of the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see that she was in pain, but why didn't she say something, someone else might have shouted at me, because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant,  and arrogant towards her, I didn't even know it was her before."

Entering the house, he heard his dad saying to his mom, "Margret, today I met a friend after twelve years and while talking to him I learned that he is also into business just like us. He used to always talk about machines, so I thought that he went into engineering but as we talk, I realized he is into the textile business just like us.

Margret, I was so shocked to hear he has a store and his daughter is the one that manages it. Honey listening to him, and the way he spoke about his children, I know he is a good and decent person. He has four sons who are already married but his daughter is still unmarried. Caleb is already thirty-three years and I believe it is time that he gets married."

"Jonas, I don't think it is right to push children into marriage," Margaret replies after listening to Jonas going on and on.
