CALEB MADE EXCUSES

Bending his head Caleb kisses her lips, Jezell asks, "What is that for?"

"That is goodbye for now sweetheart, because today you will have to travel home, I should really go and check a doctor if the person doesn't turn up, and I have to get a few things at the pharmacy before I return home."

"Are you trying to get rid of me, Caleb?" Jezell questioned him.

Kissing her cheeks, this time then said, "Why would you think such an evil thing,?"

Hearing the laughter, Caleb raised his head only to see her walking through the entrance with a few friends, the gentleman that took her hand yesterday was also with them, but then she alone got in a taxi.

"Caleb, is something wrong, honey?" Feeling like her questions were irritating him.

"No Jezell, I think I have waited long enough, and I am beginning to get a headache, plus it is almost half four."

Looking at him knowing he was lying to her and why did he become so agitated when that group of people pass by. Is he hiding something from me

To his surprise, when he turned to leave he heard someone call his name, turning around he saw Dennis his schoolmate and immediately used that as an excuse to flee from her side.

"Honey, will you excuse me, the gentleman is here concerning the business, I will see you tomorrow, or better yet, why don't you call me when you are coming to meet me?" kissing her lips then left and walked towards Dennis, shaking his hand.

"Aren't you going to introduce me to your lady friend?" Dennis enquires seeing the young lady looking at us.

Jezell glared at him as they shake hands, 'I really thought he was lying to me, but he wasn't, thank God, I really felt he was waiting for that obnoxious young lady who bounce into us yesterday.

From what I noticed just now when she passed by she didn't even look this way, they all sound like a happy bunch. Oh Lord am I a jealous freak, but in the three years we have been friends he never looks at anyone so why am I worried?

Caleb turns and glances at her not making it obvious, "Not today, Dennis, and right now I need to get some fresh air, I feel like I am stifling inside of here or why don't we go and get a cold drink? I am feeling a bit under the weather."

"I am busy my friend, next fifteen minutes my wife will be joining me," Dennis said and then looked back to where the young lady was standing, she haven't moved from where Caleb left her. "Caleb, were you trying to shun away from her?"

Looking at Dennis then in the direction where he left Jezell, seeing her still looking at him. "Let us take a walk until it's time for you to meet with your wife."

"Caleb, what is wrong? has your friend done something?"

"Not exactly, but the person I wanted to meet  has already left the building, right before you reach."
