"I was managing the J and MC store."

"I see, but they have three stores."

"I know, it was four. This was the first store they owned, but they sold it some months back. I started to work her first before I was asked to manage the store in the Central Mall."

"Then I hope you get the job."

"Thanks, I have been working for so long, I feel like taking a week to just rest, but because of my family commitment I have no choice."

"Are you married?"

"Yes, and I only recently learned that my wife is pregnant. Even if I want to take a few weeks break, the need to take care of my pregnant wife gives me the push to find a job, and I am so happy. My wife is overwhelmed from hearing she is having a baby."

"Well congratulations, I have two of them, they have my wife on the go. I only spend two hours with them, and it is exhausting, I feel sorry for my wife, she have to be on the go the entire day."

"They sound like a horror bunch."

"They are very active, but we love them."

Caleb shook his hand conveying his thanks as the assistant manager said, "I hope you get the job, it is very tiring having to be here all the time."

"Don't you get some time off?"

"Yes, only when the accountant is here. She sometimes tell me to take two hours to do whatever transactions I have, or to go and stretch my legs, she is very nice. She sometimes help the clerks just as you did when it have rush. You won't believe this, but when she helps, she ensures that each customer buys something, even if it is something small. If you are successful in getting the job, you will like her a lot." Caleb saw him turn around, then he left.

When the phone ring Sarahiah answered it, hearing what the lawyer said, she then said, "Say yes, but reply later." She laid quietly as the the radio was soft so she could think clearly, as she continued working.

She then called the courier to bring her files to Maltose Street instead of Stella Street. She rested the phone down and closed her eyes. Petal had brought the center table for her to work, and now and again when Petal didn't understand how to prepare something she would ask Sarahiah.
