Elena

As Levon walked away rapidly, he had a lot to say in his mind.

'…How does he always end up knowing my intentions is beyond me! And now, he's using it to control my movements…

But that is an offer very hard to refuse, I won't need to ask King Axel if he's going to provide me with the information I need to know. He certainly knows about "THE ERAQUEST" and "Doctor X". I'll have to ask him directly about everything, so he won't have room to avoid it.'

So it was decided, tonight he's going back to the place he spent a majority of his life in, though it seems he has no longing for it!

After coming home, spending some moments with Ezer and preparing all the questions he needs to ask. It was time to hit the road!

Situated in the far west of Babel, was the big luxurious mansion of Robert Graham. Equipped by all necessary and secondary means of comfort, a human built personal paradise.

Levon stands in front of the outside door, a laser scanning identified him as accessible to enter, he got in…

Elena welcomes him at the door warmly, with a wide smile and a tight hug. Levon is as always, the very opposite of those things. Only a light sad smile was the best he could give in return.

*Moments later*

"…When Robert told me you're coming tonight I made sure to cook you the meals you like!" Says Elena, while puting the dishes on the table.

"You had enough time to do all of this?". Levon asks.

Elena laughs just from feeling that it was a compliment. "Hhahahaha! Well he told me that in the morning, that's enough time to do it. Besides I don't have much else to do… I am a lonely woman after all!"

'…At the morning!!'. Levon sneaks a look at Robert, who's sitting calmly on the dinner table.

'The meeting took time at the evening, that means he planned it from before!

What could this possibly mean?'. This makes Levon even more suspicious.

"…You can't reject tasting my food this time, can you?" Elena cuts his train of thought and ironically asks.

Levon. "No! Absolutely not…"

Taking the fork in his right and knife in the left, he starts eating…With the first bite, he realizes the different taste the food she makes has.

A question popped in his head, and since it is going to be a night of questions, he made it in his mind not to hesitate on any.

"Why is it that the food you cook tastes different than the one the machines make?".

Elena was quite surprised that he asked, but happily so!

"Hmmm… Do you mean it's better?"

Levon. "…Kind of."

From the smiley face she has, it's clear she's happy to hear so.

"…Well, like I told you that time. Most cooking nowadays is artificial. They say a machine is perfect, but it lacks something that we humans have…

The soul!

I put my soul into what I make, I like to believe that is why my cooking tastes different."

Levon stops chewing for a moment.

"…The soul.

I never heard that word before."

An awkward silence took place, and Levon asks.

"What is the soul?"

Elena realized something, or in fact was reminded of something! 'Yeah right…

We…never had the opportunity to talk about these things before.'

She tried to come up with a simple explanation to convey the idea, but Robert replies quicker instead!

"It's something we buried in the past, and there is no way for it to come back again."

Elena shockingly looks at Robert! And Levon shifts his gaze towards him now.

"…Why is she saying she's using it now?"

Robert. "Because she is still buried in the past. Haven't you noticed that yourself?

Elena is not like any of the other women you see nowadays, she does not go out, neither she has companions. Not mentioning her way of dressing and talking…"

Levon looks back at her for a second, realizing that what Robert's saying is quite correct!

Elena's face expressions changed, her eyebrows tightened and she bit on her lips! But she stopped herself from replying for some reason…

Robert stoically continues. "Coming here has confirmed to me that what you're truly interested in, was knowing about what happened, 30years ago!"

"Right!"

He replies with conviction!

Robert. "Then let me tell you in short, the real story behind Nature's Revolution!"

Levon puts the fork down, it is time to concentrate beyond 100%

The same pattern repeats itself, the eyes lighting up and the blood circulates twice the speed it normally does.

But, before Robert could start. An angry and firm voice raped both their eardrums!!

"STOP IT!!

YOU CANNOT TAKE AWAY MY TIME AGAIN WITH MY SON!!! YOU WILL NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEFORE YOU FINISH YOUR MEAL!!!

THE MEAL I HAVE MADE FOR YOU!!"

Elena's sudden burst was such a shocker for the two men, that it broke down a moment very important!!

Robert thinks back. In the 32years of knowing her, and the 15years of being her husband. This was the first time she ever had her angry face pointed at him!

He looked stone cold, but could not keep looking directly at her eyes. He picked the fork, and started eating, without saying anything back!

This moment was completely strange to Levon as well! But looking at how Robert reacted to it, he found himself imitating the same thing unconsciously.

Seeing that, Elena returned to her calm and kind self, as if nothing happened! Then casually said. "Make sure to chew it well before swallowing, take your time please!".

None talked, only the sound of forks hitting the dishes were echoing…Until they were empty and stomachs were full.

"Tell your mother how you found her food." Robert orders Levon as they finished!

Levon timidly looks at her and says. "…Good.

Very good!"

"Thank you, Elena!". Adds Robert.

These words were all what she wanted, the look on her face was that of complete satisfaction. She did not reply, she just took away the dishes and gave them the time and space they needed.

Levon kept staring obliviously until Robert told him. "You don't understand her actions."

He kept silent for a moment, then replied. "…I don't."
