Chapter 018 - Who Rule the Zitan? Girls!

The male elders were all frozen stiff from meeting the supposedly serene and elegant Queen but instead met a crazy and half-deranged Geneva.

And who could blame her?

Geneva was just having her daily afternoon tea on her ship cruiser as she searched for the Thesarius when one day she suddenly heard the Octagrad was eaten up by the Abyssum-Cetacelor and her most beloved and dearest Zaldros was now whale dung...

The news was so large that even other Intergalactic Governments talked about it.

It was even number one trending throughout the whole Omniweb.

The Omniweb is the Internet of the Universe. It was a group of institutions much like the UM (Universal Market) that spanned the whole civilized Universe even though it doesn't have a clear hierarchy or system making it extremely chaotic. It was much like Earth's Deep Web with the exemption that almost everyone uses it.

For reference, the Octanet (The Octagrad's Internet), the HyperWeb (The HPG's Internet), and the Zitani Almanac (Space Wikipedia) were all but a tiny part of the Omniweb. And each of these different networks could connect to each other through the Omniweb.

{Breaking News! The Great Space Whale has swallowed up the Octagrad!}

{Disaster has befallen the great 8-Planet Construct as it was swallowed whole by the Abyssum-Cetacelor, information is still scarce and we still don't know WHY the normally gentle and passive creature had suddenly eaten up a Civilized Galactic Port like the Octagrad... As Geneva read through the different articles online she couldn't help but throw the tablet she was holding as she set her ship's course towards the Octagrad.

"N-No..."

But when she got there all she saw was rubble. She didn't even catch a glimpse of the detested creature that destroyed her home.

Geneva immediately went to Zitani for answers on how to hunt down that detestable whale.

And here she was, half-mad as she rambled on and released her frustrations on a bunch of silent old researchers.

"TsNao*Xs!" Geneva began to curse and shouted making the Hierarch and the other elders piss themselves.

Geneva might've almost continued her crazy ramblings if not for the entrance of another group of women.

"Lady Geneva, please calm yourself..." A middle-aged Zitani woman calmly said.

[[[OUR SAVIOR!]]] The male Zitani thought when they saw the Hierarch's Wife and her Huntresses enter the room.

"Oooh. A bunch of old women dares to interrupt me?" Geneva finally cracked. But she still couldn't do anything rash as she knew the Women in front of her were the real military force that protected The Great Library of Zitan!

"We heard what your college Tynon did to our Great Library during our absence, and although we know we are weaker than you O "Queen of the Xerclodian" we must advise that you still speak to us with the minimum amount of courtesy we show to you... Can we not speak like civilized women instead?" The woman strictly said.

*Huh* "You're right... I was a bit rude. Please forgive my rash behavior" Geneva breathed.

Even though she had the power to crush everyone here, Geneva knew that these women in front of her weren't pushovers, and it would be a great loss on both sides if she were to act aggressively towards them.

[Besides, they've already asked for negotiations... If things don't go the way I want... I would at least have the justification that I at least heard them out, right?] Geneva thought.

The women in front of Geneva were the Zitani Matriarch and her Huntresses. You see because the Zitani males were indeed very docile and resigned one would wonder how the Great Library of Zitan, the largest collection of information and data accessible to everyone could keep their independence despite being controlled by the docile Zitan.

While it is true that the Zitan males preferred books and research rather than dominance and war, the opposite could be said about their women.

The female Zitani were more warlike and enjoyed the thrill of battle! This made the Zitani a formidable race. For while the men were researching and learning of new technology and improving the collective knowledge, their female warriors were armed with the Hitech equipment and armaments they needed for war, that was if another alien race was foolish enough to underestimate them.

In truth, Jade was actually a pretty special Zitani female as she preferred statistics and books rather than going off to some faraway uninhabited planet to hunt crazy monsters with her mother and aunts.

This was why Jade was the only female teenager around when Tynon attacked the Library. And why Tynon managed to defeat more than half of the Zitani as he only fought with the male emergency militia and not the full military force of the Zitan.

Throughout her life, Jade thought she would never understand why her mother and many sisters (Her mom and dad were very busy) liked going off to faraway planets to hunt. But all that changed as right now, Jade was even more savage and wilder than her mother and sisters were.

*Huf Huf Huf* Jade panted as the bodies of countless small creatures and 20 larger creatures littered the floor around her.

After the set amount of ammo, she rationed for that night was consumed, Jade had no choice but to fight in a melee against the beasts that kept on attacking her camp wave after wave every night.

Jade felt extreme exhilaration as she looked at the Glaive she crafted from an enormous tooth of a large four-toothed alligator-like creature she had killed.

Then she smiled with great delight as her eyes turned even more wilder...
