Chapter 40: Get To Know Grace

"Do you have a crush on Grace?!" I asked him directly. He turned bright red... avoiding my gaze. "No. I don't. I'm just doing my job!" He denied it... although...

POV: Louie

Oh! Isn't that them over there? I'll go and approach them... I walked towards them quietly without them noticing as Sungah continued to burst out laughing I nudge her shoulder a bit. She looked at me wide-eyed to see me in a serious look.

"Am I interrupting you two from chatting?" I said to her.

"Oh no. Please sit down Louie." She sat down straight and firm... and offering the seat beside her.

I nodded a little, amused at her sudden change in attitude... I really do have that factor of intimidating people to do what I want. It's almost satisfying to say the least... although at the corner at my eye I see... Greg.. decorated with pastel clothing and accessories.. not batting an eye to my intimidating aura.

I decided to break the ice... "So... since I'll be working with you two since you are the two people closest to Grace. Why don't we share and talk about who you guys are and how Grace acts... So I can perfectly mimic her way of leading to not raise any suspicion that is."

"Maybe let's start with you. Greg was it?" The ball is now on Greg's court... he gave me a kind and warm smile. "Now that I think about it... you are very familiar... you're from the wrestling team during high school right?" I brought it up... he giggled a little nodding.

"That's right... I did wrestling and martial arts during high school... Anyways my name is Greg Paolotonio. I am Grace's bodyguard.. although I am not really sure why she needs a bodyguard in the first place I was hired anyway." Greg responded.

"You know. It's honestly a bit surprising... You know.. that you are a bodyguard... I mean look at you... you are one of the most feminine men I've met ever. You wear very pastel colors and female accessories... What I'm saying is.. I guess you really just lack the intimidating factor that most bodyguards have." I said to him surprised...

"Oh I don't think you should judge Greg based on his appearance... he can easily beat up a group of strong men.. I have even seen him in action before! He beat the living crap out of those thugs that were trying to kidnap Grace. They were practically begging for him to go away." Sungah chimed in admiring Greg's strength.

Greg clears his throat. "I'm not really like that type of person to fight people... I never like hurting anyone but if the situation calls for it I guess I have to..." He giggled innocently.

"What's your relationship with Grace exactly? You seem really close especially when I woke up as her the other day." I asked him...

He glared at Sungah who seemed to be holding back her laughter... huh? What's up with these two?

He sighs. "You see... Grace and I are best friends... we were very close during high school and kept in contact during college... I even helped her start her business and such when she was starting out here... although she moved to another country and started her business there."

"You guys are pretty close aren't you?"

"A little too close." I hear Sungah giggling in the back corner.

"This woman has forgotten to eat her breakfast that's why she is like that." Greg blushed to ignore Sungah's teasing...

Hmm... could there be a romantic relationship between Grace and Greg? Well, whatever it was... it feels a little one-sided to me...

"What about you?" I turned over to Sungah messing around with her hair. "Hm? You want to know more about me, sweetie?" She said, making a little smirk.

"By far... you are one of the weirdest women I have ever met..."

Her eyes widen, her head tilting to my direction. "And why is that dear?"

"You are a bit too erratic for my liking... I'm honestly used to seeing sophisticated lady-like women around me. Do you know? Women that are elegant and regal." I said.

"I'm not really about the elegant and regal life. It's rather boring to me..." She yawned. "Only women that act like those let people step on them... and honey I don't let anyone step on me and treat me like a toy." Her charm glowed ruby red... getting everyone's attention.

"Also I'm like a criminal in the magic society since I refused to give up my necklace given by my family that charms men..." She said lightly giggling over it. "Apparently my necklace is dark magic that controls the emotional aspect of people so it's forbidden but I ran from it so ya."

"I don't think being a criminal is something to be proud of Sungah." Greg squinted at Sungah's carefree tone.

"I guess being lady-like is not exactly your forte?" I spoke to her. Making her chuckle a little. "Grace isn't exactly lady-like either. Her sense of style is like horrid! THE HORROR!" She said sarcastically falling down. "Oh wait... I don't really like fainting on the ground so I'm just not gonna faint."

"Well, how does Grace act around her workers in the company? I need to replicate it so they experience the same thing they experience from Grace." I asked both of them.

"You guys are like total opposites... firstly Grace does not have an intimidating aura.. she is very sweet.. she even talks personally with a few of the employees out of work. She can be serious but she knows how relationships matter." Greg said.

"According to your schedule... well Grace's schedule.. you are going to have a company dinner like later on. So you better get prepared..."

The sweat starts to drip from my body... COMMUNICATING... WITH EMPLOYEES... I NEVER DO THAT IN MY COMPANY...

"Can I just not come?" I said lightly.

"Hahahaha. No." Sungah smiled.

"Don't tell me you are afraid of a little communication?" Greg said sarcastically...

Bullseye... He's right... I'm not really the conversation type of person... especially if it's personal things.. I was deemed the person that you should not ask for advice because I was too cold...

"Well, you better practice being warm and welcoming!" Sungah giggled. "Or you'll just scare everyone and they might start getting suspicious that Grace suddenly changed."

DAMN IT! I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM GOING TO HAVE TROUBLE WITH THIS COMPANY DINNER... I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GONNA DO AT THIS POINT... I never even talk to any of my employees I don't even know their names how am I going to talk to her employees.... ugh! I am so screwed...
