Chapter 58: That's Charity
POV: Louie
Being in Grace's body is harder than I thought, especially when a charity that Grace needs to attend to is coming up and I legit need ideas for it, where he actually not good at.
Although the weirdest thing of all.. and yes this is even weirder than switching with Grace is Sungah's attitude...
Meanwhile Sungah still going on about seducing Grace in Louie's body. Striding sexily to the door, she welcomed me with a smirk "Good morning Louie~" winking at me.
I MEAN I know she lost her memories.. or something that happened last night but come on... WHY IS SHE SO ANNOYING TODAY.. and a little too naughty...
"Good morning to you too Sungah" I answered tiredly... Ugh... HONESTLY I PREFER THE SUNGAH THAT DID NOT FORGET HER MEMORIES... ATLEAST SHE ISN'T AS ANNOYING.
"Here's your schedule for today. She hands me the paper where the schedule is written. "Is there anything more that I need to know?"
I scanned through the paper.. looking at the details.. typical work.. of hers.. and then as soon as I got to next page... it's where the thing that dreads me... "Ugh.. the charity drive.. at that random secluded place..." I facepalmed...
"Do you really hate charity drives that much? You're just going to be there to help the people you know?" Greg giggled a little at the back corner.
"Maybe he just doesn't like people that much. I mean I heard you can have this illness where you just hate people.. or was it just a mood." Sungah suggested to Greg making both of them burst out laughing.
"Don't laugh it me you, buffoons... it's just that I don't fancy myself in being outdoors.. in a remote place without signal.. and any source of communications I mean why do they even live there..." I said to them tiredly
"Pretty sure that's why they need help in the first place." Greg chuckled a little grabbing candy from the table.
"Ugh.. you two are not helping... since I'm done with some of the things.. I need to do.. all the paperwork is settled and done with. Ms. Tan please take these papers and deliver them to Grace so she can give these to where she needs them. Also ask her for the paperwork for her company so I can hand them out." I hand the papers to Sungah.
"I'll go ahead and join Sungah.. she might get in trouble since she doesn't really remember a lot" Greg stood up from his seat.. helping Sungah get out of my office...
They both go out of the room... now it's silent.. a little too silent... honestly.. I've never planned something like this... I guess I'm going to start on what to do...
Well I guess firstly let's write what.. I should do... I wrote down everything that people do in charities anything that just comes to my mind not even minding if it could really help the people at the charity. One of the things in my wrote in the journal is of course the usual: giving foods and other relief goods, after that I did nothing. I mean surely it should be okay... they shouldn't be too picky.. I'll find a store and then just buy a bunch of bread and then feed it to them.. and some relief goods.. that should be enough right?
POV: Grace
Tomorrow should be the charity drive... I guess I should try to help Louie plan on what to do.. I mean I know it's a bit foolish for me to just start this still even if we switched.. but I really promised these children that I'll go there and help them...
As I sighed.. I look up to see Sungah giving me a big bright smile... "What are you doing here Sungah?" I asked her.
"Well since your secretary stopped me... apparently I had to make an appointment before coming to your office and whatnot. A real pain in the ass she is.. ugh." She strutted across the office. "I'm here to give you the paperwork that you need to give out and stuff.. also Louie said you should give him the paperwork..." Sungah said to me.
"Hmm.. well I guess... all I got was proposals... I guess you can give it to him." I handed her the pile of proposals. Also of course you need to schedule an appointment with me... before you see me... so I guess teleporting here was wise." I complimented her slightly, she grinned a little. "Yup.. definitely smart. Anyways I'm going back to Louie! Bye now!" She giggled turning around to me for a split second. "Although I don't think it's going well for Louie.. he is having a bit of problems in the charity." She giggled before disappearing into thin air.
I sighed.. well I hope Louie has the charity thing under control... I mean he's a CEO surely he can plan a last-minute charity event... I almost forgot that I don't trust him in this but I think.. he can pull it off..
POV: Louie
I hear the door slightly open.. "Huh? Who's that?" I looked to see Greg back already... "That was fast." I stood up from my chair.
Greg notices my posture and decided to check on me if I did some progress. "How's is it going Louie?" he asked... hm...
I shrugged my shoulders... "Well this was easy as pie," I said to him as if the project is no big deal.
Although.. why are they back so fast? "Wait?! What happened with Sungah? Why are you guys back that fast?" I asked him curiously
"Oh apparently.. you needed an appointment to go see you.. but we don't really have time for a scheduled appointment so Sungah just said to me that she will just teleport to your office so ya that's what happened. Although what's up with your plans for charity?" Greg explained and then he got closer.. trying to take a look at my ideas written in my notebook.
Sighing Greg checked the notebook seeing only to thinks makes him sigh again. "Louie if Grace sees this she's not gonna like it. Grace doesn't want the charity to go down like this, think of other ideas." With that Greg returned to his seat and continued his work.
What.. surely a charity should be this easily FOR CHRIST SAKE IT'S GIVING... IF YOU GIVE SOMEONE SOMETHING THAT'S CALLED CHARITY! WHY WOULD SHE NOT WANT TO GIVE STUFF AND FEED THEM. I guess... I'm gonna have to ask... Grace about this.. although WHAT COULD SHE POSSIBLY WANT FROM WHAT I LISTED DOWN. Giving things should just be simple...
