My luck is fake.

"Open up your mouth." Blood did as I asked him to, and I fed him the potion.

"Umm, I don't feel any change. Are you sure this potion you made isn't broken?" Blood got a little worried.

"Well, I'm positive. Activate [gravishpere]."

"You do realize my blood inside the [gravishphere] isn't hot enough to melt the rock? It'll just pull all the materials towards us and we'll get crushed." He really didn't trust my plan.

"That's exactly what we need. No more question, just do it."

"Fine, fine. [gravishpere]!" The stubborn goat head finally cast the spell.

Just as I hoped, all the rocks, metals, and magma started flying towards the sphere, and blood shut his eyes, expecting to get crushed.

Instead, the flying projectiles were stopped by some invisible force, and, at the same time, all the bits kept getting smaller and smaller, eventually turning into dust, which sipped through the barrier and into the gravishere, further fueling it.

"What the- How did you make such a complex potion? Didn't you tell me a potion can only have one effect at a time?" Blood was utterly shocked.

"That's exactly what's happening though. Look, we don't have much time for me to explain everything, so I'll do that once the effect is over." Without giving him any time to respond, I angled his head downwards.

Everything in the direction of his head quickly disappeared, creating the effect of a drill, and with that, we tunneled downwards extremely quickly, leaving behind a tunnel I wouldn't call exactly pretty.

On the third minute, I started getting worried that the effect will run out and we'll be forced to wait for the cooldown, but suddenly the resistance of the ground stopped and we entered a freefall.

"Haha, I knew this would work!" I excitedly looked around while we were falling, only to find..

Disappointment.

No, why? I was hoping we would find some treasure, or at least figure out why the ground is so hot here, but we instead landed in a burnt down forest.

"I-Isn't this.. floor 6?" I heard the goat head's disappointed voice.

"Damn. All this effort just to go down one floor. That's exactly where we are." In that case, I can only assume the reason for the hot ground is to keep people from digging between floors and to force them to beat the bosses instead.

We were both annoyed, to say the least, but one thing was for sure - we were able to go down to the fifth floor using this potion.

Still, this is just too much of a precaution on the side of whoever created this dungeon, if it was even created by a human in the first place.

We both showed how displeased we were, and discussed what we should do next, and here's the plan.

We'll wait until tomorrow, dig down to the next floor, and, once we're there, we can have a proper break and I'll finally get some clothes. Yeah, this is not worth it for the clothing, but we have a few other reasons to go there.

Firstly, I want to experiment with creating armor from the countless ores we found on the way down to this floor. With my high stats, the armor I can make should be great, but you need an anvil to create armor.

It's not that I wouldn't be able to make armor without one, but a notification message pops up: {cannot without proper equipment}

I have no idea what the "equipment" is, but I assume it's an anvil and a hammer, and maybe we'll also need a forge or something like that. Well, I can't be sure since it depends entirely on how the system functions, but there was definitely a smithing station in that place, so I want to at least try something.

In the meantime, I'll also create a lot of potions. Still, it would have been so much easier if it were possible to teleport between floors, but for some reason, I can't do that.

What I can, however, do is teleport between the floors which have a hole drilled through them, so that's a bonus.

~~~
"I get that, but you still haven't told me how you made a potion do all of those things at once, River."
"You don't have to say my name when you address me, it's not like there's anyone else here.. Anyways, the way it works is quite simple. I just made a potion called [wind blade barrier]. As the name implies, it creates a barrier of wind blades around you - for five minutes - and it cut all the things that flew at you so much that they turned into dust. Dust is too small to get held back by the barrier, so it flew in between the blades and into your [gravishpere]." I explained in detail.
The only issue was that it required a lot of air, but luckily I was able to store a load of it in my inventory, and I just let a load of air out every so often, fuelling the barrier.
"I see. Welp, now we just have to kill 24 more hours until the next potion is available. Hm, but one potion isn't enough to dig the whole way down, so I guess we should start right away." For the first time in a while, Blood suggested something useful.
"Yeah, you're right. It's like drinking away the sorrows, but instead, we are digging away the disappointment." I got ready to dig once again.
"You didn't have to put it like time, jeez. Funny thing is, you're right." Blood in the shape of a spade formed around the goat head, as he also got mentally prepared for being used as a shovel.
I wonder if blood can get discombobulated if I smash the ground with his head too hard?
