Assistant Li's Rage

It was one heck of a fight to get Kyla out of the bathroom and settle her down at the lounge. Even then, she continued flinging her poker cards like playing darts across the room. Fortunately, none of her poker card attacks hurt anyone in the lounge area.

Though her cards didn't bring harm to anyone, it dug a huge hole in their wallets. Every card she threw brutally murdered the most expensive alcohol collections on the walls. At the end, the waiter had to ask them to pay for the damages before they could continue hanging out at the lounge.

Rubbing his temples, Aaron snatched the poker cards from Kyla's hands and hid it at a place where she had no access to. Before placing the deck of playing cards into the hiding spot, Aaron inspected it to see what it was made of.

Arching his left brow upwards, his lips twitched. "These are regular paper playing cards. How the hell did she make so much damage using these flimsy cards? If I tried flinging it across the room, the card would fall down to the floor within a five-inch radius. Just who is this girl?"

Michael looked after Kyla while sneaking peeks at Alfred's direction. "Boy, I thought you wanted to use the restroom. I didn't know you were into this type of thing. How does getting pin to the wall feel like? Hehe."

"Not the way I thought it'll feel. Let's focus on getting someone they know to come to pick them up first." Alfred suggested as his attention directed back to the girl who was hugging him like a koala on a tree.

In the meantime, Alfred had taken Jessica's cellphone and used her face ID to unlock her phone. Before he could dial her mom's number, she woke up grumpily. Taking her phone from his palm, she leaned back with her head on his lap and pressed the first person on her call log.

Jessica stayed awake for the first three rings of the call. "Li Yi Wei," Alfred read the name that appeared on the screen. Within seconds later, the person on the other end of the call picked up.

In a half-awake tone, the person's hoarse voice sounded exasperated. "Hello? Miss.Wang?"

Alfred answered the call immediately after he heard the female voice. "Hi! This is…"

Before he could tell the person who it was, she disconnected the call. Frustration rose to his head as he redialed the same number. This time, the same girl picked up the phone and asked for Miss.Wang. When Alfred spoke into the phone again, he received a lecture.

Li Yi Wei, also known as Assistant Li from the call log began scolding him for prank calling and cat calling in the middle of the night. "Is it fun to take someone else's number to shadow your real private number when you play pranks? What? You don't have to sleep and that means I don't either? It's past midnight!! Even then, you shouldn't be calling others using someone's number! What are you? A horny high schooler?"

After she had finished speaking, Alfred clarified the situation. "Actually, this is Miss.Wang's phone and I am calling from Sunrise Bar. She and her friend are both drunk. Her friend destroyed the men's restroom and many valuable collections from the bar. Could you come get them before my credit card explodes from swiping for her damages?"

"What?! Then you should have said something earlier! I'll get there in twenty minutes. You can contact her brother too. He should be on the contact list. His name is Isaac Wang. Actually, I'll contact him."

Alfred wanted to argue verbally with this chick because she was the one who automatically assumed he was playing a prank on her. How could he say anything when he was never given a chance to talk?

"Excuse me, but I was cut off between my words by you. My friends and I will watch over the girls until you get here. Let us know when you arrive and…"

His voice trailed off when he realized Assistant Li had already hung up on him. "What kind of person… whatever. As long as someone comes to get these two before the bar closes, nothing else matters."

Within twenty minutes, two BMW cars pulled up in front of the bar. The door to the driver's seat of the black BMW swung open and a five-foot-eleven young man who wore a casual t-shirt with blue jeans stepped out of the vehicle. As he walked, he fixed the collar to the navy-blue blazer he wore and tugged it to straighten out the wrinkles. Surprisingly, everything matched well with his casual style.

Right after he appeared, the backseat of the silver BMW behind his car also flung open. A five-foot-six girl with an innocent, youthful face got out and slammed the door closed. The girl had several golden floral bobby pins sectioning her hair into a simple waterfall updo from behind. She wore a plain white blouse and black pants paired with an H-line gray cardigan with black stripes.

"Assistant Li, you're here." Isaac said as he met her halfway to the bar's entrance.

Nodding politely, Li Yi Wei coldly glared at the entrance as if she could imagine the havoc inside. "Mister Wang, I heard Kyla broke the entire bar lounge including the men's restroom."

A slight frown appeared on his charming face when he heard her remark. "Is that so? How could she do that much damage when she lacked physical strength?"

"If Mister Wang has forgotten, then I should remind you that you were the one who taught her how to use poker cards as a sniper's weapon. Kyla would be a much less dangerous person if she didn't have such targeting skills with her cards. She lacks physical strength, but she does have sharp vision...especially when she is drunk." A shiver ran down her spine as she recalled an incident from the past.
