You’re not afraid that I’ll sell your organs?

"Okay." Grandpa Lun replied calmly with no sense of anxiety nor nervousness.

Lia's left brow arched in amusement. With her legs crossed, she brought her torso forward and used her thigh as an elbow stand. Her chin rested on her right palm. "Grandpa, are you not afraid of me? You'll never know as I could always sell your organs."

Grandpa Lun chuckled at her provocative question. However, her soft tone did not bring a dangerous touch to her careless threat. Instead, he felt her words were full of teases like a child having the urge to play. "Young lady, if you really wanted to harm me, you would've made a move and dug holes in my frail body already. Why would you wait till now? Besides, you just told me to stay with you for the time being, so why should I fight you?"

"Hah, what if I wanted your organs to be warm so I waited until you woke up?" Lia didn't realize she was smiling while talking with him. It has been a while since she had let her guards down around someone. 'What a relaxing moment.' She thought inwardly.

"Then I would be on an operation table and not tied to a chair. I believe you will let me off." Grandpa Lun's slightly curved lips almost made Lia slip off her thigh. She patted her chest and calmed down before replying to him.

"Then Grandpa, why do you believe I would let you go after this?" She asked, twirling the tip of her hand around her index finger.

"My instincts." He replied shortly.

"Do you always do things by instinct? Such as saving strangers and not even asking where they were coming from?" Flashbacks entered her mind as she reminisced about the time Grandpa Lun had helped her save one of her men from danger. If it weren't for him, she wouldn't be able to distract Master Liam's subordinates to a different direction. At that time, the elderly man didn't ask for a reason either - he just saved a stranger.

"That is different. Saving someone is a duty everyone should do if they see someone who needs help. If someone you knew ran into trouble, you would also wish someone would help them and keep them safe, won't you? My instincts just tell me what I should do, and I choose what is right." Grandpa Lun's answer once again brought surprises to Lia that she forgot what she wanted to ask him next.

While the two of them continued having a casual conversation, Alfred was busy coaxing his wife to sleep. After learning about Grandpa Lun's disappearance, Jessica's sleepiness faded.

"Wifey, you're carrying our little one right now. Even if you don't feel like you need rest, the little one inside needs the energy to be healthy. How about this? Just close your eyes for a while, and I will tell you when there are any updates with Grandpa Lun's whereabouts." Alfred tried his best to comfort his wife at the moment. Even though everyone is anxious about Grandpa Lun, they can't rush the progress.

"But I-" Jessica couldn't find a reason to refute him. She knew he was right since she can't help right now anyway. The only thing she could do was rest. Sighing, she eventually gave in to his request and closed her eyes in bed.

Although she claimed she wasn't fatigue, she ended up falling asleep in a matter of minutes. Alfred took the opportunity to exit the room and meet the guys on the video group chat.

"Any news?" Alfred gently closed the door behind him and faced his phone screen.

"No." Everyone shook their head. Jason and Isaac waited for their wife to fall asleep before joining, so the meeting had just begun.

"There are no updates on where Grandpa Lun is, but I know that other than us, there's another hidden group looking for him. Someone placed Grandpa Lun's portrait on the high rewards wanted list, so there are others who are also digging for him." Michael said as he shared his screen to the rest of the group. Grandpa Lun was on the Top Wanted list and many experts seemed to be interested.

"We need to find him first." Isaac narrowed his eyes when he read the user ID of the person who posted the Top Wanted Poster. He sent the relevant information to his people and asked them to track the post owner's identity and location.

"Let's look for Madam Wang. She caused the ruckus as a distraction, so she must know something or who is behind this. Since she is locked up, we can find her and interrogate her. She might know where Grandpa Lun is." Bryan suggested after thinking about the whole situation carefully.

"Oh, right. I heard she requested for bail. However, with our connections, she is definitely not stepping foot out of prison. She made a fuss and finally managed to get Master Wang to see her. Unfortunately, her husband cannot help her this time around." Michael smirked while addressing the couple in crime.

"Yeah! Let's go! Jason, Alfred and Isaac… you guys just stay where you are. We don't need any more missing people. We don't know if anyone is actually targeting our families, so stay where you are with your wife." Bryan said before hanging up the call.

Jason, Alfred and Isaac were the only ones left in the group chat who were responsive to one another. While the others were on idle status, the three of them decided to continue FaceTiming each other.

"What should we do while waiting for them?" Alfred questioned the other two whose face showed a stern expression.

"Hack into the surveillance cameras and see how well Madam Wang is holding on. Since she wanted to see her husband, maybe we can get something out of their conversation." Jason rubbed his pointed chin and started typing on his keyboard. The sound of keys bouncing back against his fingertips could be heard.

Within minutes, he managed to hack into the surveillance cameras in prison and found the couple they were looking for. Jason shared his screen and revealed the current situation in the discussion room to them.
