Ch.123

I watched the to and fro of the Tok'ra and SGC members until I sensed something was wrong and sounded the alarms, telling them there was a hatak with a fleet of Alkesh on the way. That got them off their asses and the Tok'ra asked if I was sure and I looked up. "Absolutely half an hour out now. Take only what's necessary and get to the gate or die here. Over five thousand Jaffa are coming with a goa'uld named Zipacna who serves the goa'uld Anubis."

Jolinar said Anubis was dead and I raised an eyebrow. "Not dead, ascended. He's the reason Oma Desala is an outcast amongst the ascended. The others must've sent him back."

Jolinar hurried everyone to haul ass and get everything important off this base. I covered myself and told Sam when she asked where I was going. "To buy time."

I headed to the rings and got to the surface before flying to space. I waited there cloaked for the whole half hour before the hatak ship and the fleet of Alkesh came inbound. I flew to them and pulled out the BFG, firing all eight rounds and taking out the Alkesh, creating a massive chain of explosions the hatak barely survived with it's shields. With all the rounds spent, I put it away and pulled out my Titan mini gun, flying towards the hatak ship.

I passed right through the shields and poked a lot of holes in the massive hatak ship which amounted to it slowing down and gliders being sent out to me where my mini gun was heading up. I flew around the ship, hitting death gliders and making them crash into the hatak while dodging their firing as it hit the hatak as well for what little hood it did. I continued to poke holes in the massive pyramid dwarfing ship, starting with the gravitational rings.

Eventually I'd ran out of bullets as the hatak was dead in the water which just meant it couldn't move. It still sent out Death gliders, more Alkesh and a cargo ship. I took out my rail gun and picked off the gliders one by one with fast and accurate shots. I flew at the Alkesh before they reached the planet and unleashed the photon tri-point laser.

A spinning small laser flew up with the reactor core and discharged three massive lasers, destroying most of the Alkesh except one that was just damaged slightly before hitting atmo. I chased it down, used a phase shifting armband I took from Tollana and passed into it before killing everyone aboard and taking over the ship. I landed it, took the weapons and armor off and dumped the dead outside before putting the Alkesh away.

Most of the Tok'ra had made it out by now and the SGC members were with them when I arrived at the gate. I asked Jolinar. "Is that all the stuff? I bought two hours but I'm out of weapons and my suit's reactor was spent on the second wave of Alkesh."

Jolinar nodded. "That's it. Thank you."

I sighed. "The ship is sending in gliders. We'd best go."

Jack asked. "What about the BFG?"

I grunted. "Spent on the first wave of Alkesh. The railgun and mini gun are spent as well stopping the first few waves of gliders and slowing the Hatak down by blowing the gravity rings. Like I said, I'm out except pistols and a damaged Alkesh that can't fly anymore and some Jaffa weapons."

Sam asked. "What about my suit?"

I raised an eyebrow. "You want to wast your reactor on a fleet of gliders? If not it'd be suicide to try it on the Hatak."

Jack sighed. "Let's just go."

I asked Jolinar if they'd get the message not to come to Revana. She said the message was to assume everyone was dead and move to the rendezvous point so we left. We ended up back on earth where I handed over the Alkesh bomber to be studied practically by taking it apart since they already had the schematics and knowledge of how to make one.

Weeks later I was sent with the team to stop an asteroid headed to earth when the sensors picked up the core being made of almost entirely naquadah with over forty percent of it's mass being naquadah overall. The fact that it was as big as Texas didn't freakin help any so I set a thousand Pym shrinking devices at key points all over the meteor before activating them simultaneously. That left me with a meteor the size of the cloaked cargo ship which I shit with the but end of the BFG and pulled to earth slowly, nearly falling out of the sky when I entered atmo with it.

The weight was immense and I had to set it down with the help of a dozen gate ships and the cargo ship on a pallet with antigravity thrusters and a hundred repulsers. It sank about a foot but held it before I pushed it slowly to the SGC Airfield. There I made a special crate and shrank it to zippo size, putting it away to be unloaded on a planet with no life so it can be mined for naquadah.

General Hammond had a planet in mind so it was gone a few hours later while a team was sent to mine the big fucker. Anyways, a thank you message was sent to Revana where the MALP showed Zipacna's troops searching. They received one naquadah enhanced nuke curtesy of the US government for the deposit of the meteor. Hammond assured me no Tok'ra or free Jaffa were injured in that message.

Weeks later Bra'tac and Teal'c wished to show us a Jaffa leader on New Chulak who was supposedly impressive. I frowned seeing the supposed warrior and spoke to Bra'tac and Teal'c. "That's not a Jaffa. That's the goa'uld Imhotep pretending to be his own first prime in service to the system lords who are no doubt on their way. Your people and ships are in danger."

Bra'tac's eyes sharpened and I walked up to Imhotep, measuring him up before grabbing his armor and ripping it off him, Spartan kicking him thirty feet into a post with enough force to break his spine. He landed in such a way that his chest and stomach were exposed. The warriors reacted ready to shoot me until someone pointed out Imhotep's lack of a pouch.

Confusion rang out before Bra'tac and Teal'c took over, telling them the goa'uld have deceived them and they had to leave or be wiped out. The two hatak ships began loading everything up that would fit while others left through the gate to the alpha site. Teams of SGC members helped them gather and pack everything, making sure no one except Imhotep was left behind while his head was removed by Bra'tac and put on top of the post, killing him for good.

Weeks after the Jaffa were settled into a new world off the goa'uld's known gate list, we were back on another mission this time to a world that'd clearly seen human apocalypse. There we found the Android Reese alongside old replicator blocks I found on the ground outside in the ruins. Sam and Daniel wanted to bring her back to the SGC and I went against that telling General Hammond. "Sir, I have reason to believe the people of this world made this Android and from it the replicators were made before those that could ended up in the Ida galaxy, likely tracking other ships of more advanced designs until the Asgard came upon them. This android could very well be the origin of replicators. To that end I think we should leave it here and contact the Asgard before making any attempts to turn it on."

Jack whistled and General Hammond asked how I could be sure. I told him evenly. "The ground is literally littered with replicator blocks yet the most advanced piece of technology on the planet shows no signs of damage. The fact that my suit is picking up nanites on the surface of it's body and the most complex human form Android outside of the Asurans that I've ever seen all leads me to believe that whatever transpired here, it was merely the beginning of the replicators since there blocks are pure steel and iron instead of naquadah, trinium or neutronium."

General Hammond agreed with my statement saying it was best we remain cautious. He deferred to my expertise in this matter and I returned to the SGC where I opened a wormhole to Othala and used the communication stone to contact the Asgard High council. I told them we may have found the android that made the replicators and if so they could use it's base code to call them forth once more, this time setting an automated time dilation trap for them to give me time to finish the frequency modulator capable of rendering all replicators in their galaxy inert.

They agreed saying they'd send one of their people to assess the situation so I gave them the gate address and told them I'd meet them there for preparations with the incomplete device to head back to the Ida galaxy with them. I set up the time dilation trap myself on the deserted planet, making damned sure it would be hidden and only triggered when all replicators are present there. From there I was given an Asgard ship and used Reese to set up the beacon, spreading it out to the known universe to come forth.

While I waited, I upgraded the ship's cloaking, shields, weapons and over all power generation to near Lantean designs. I modified the sensors to connect with the interstellar satellite networks via subspace signals. After that the sensor arrays were sufficiently upgraded so I sat in the command chair and watched as the replicators came forth in ships from all over and covered the planet, consuming all metals from the Asgard ships and the planet as a whole that they could find except Reese.

I was able to detect and watch all replicators in the Ida galaxy on a star map in real time as more than I'd ever though possible were leaving worlds without gates. Thousands of ships landed and covered the planet in replicators until all of the replicators had come even from the most remote world's a month later. When the ship landed, it triggered the time dilation field device which didn't have even the most minute of cracks, I made damned sure of that.

Time moved ten to the fourth power times slower at point-one-six light years compared to the outside. It would be more than enough time to finish the device so I sat the ship down on a nearby planet and built a small but powerful temple device like the one on Dakara that was used to start life in the Milky Way galaxy. From there I altered the frequency to the replicator's current one and dialed the program I'd set up to dial all the stagates in the Ida galaxy at once.

The process took no more than two week to get ready and as I fired it, I was in contact with the Asgard High Council, sending the wave to all worlds with and without stargates. The planet covered in replicators was wiped all at once when I remotely shut down the time dilation field, ending the replicators once and for all. I told the council after a full scan of their galaxy that it was done and all replicators in their home galaxy were gone for good.

They said they'd gather the blocks and divide them equally between myself and them. Thus I borrowed the ship to head to help Heimdall, the team and Thor as it turns out. I appeared on the coms as Anubis appeared on mine and I told him. "This is the Asgard ship Torus and it has been fully modified with Ancient weapons, shields and a power core capable of reducing your fleet to dust in a single volley. You will hand over the eyes of the goa'uld and commander Thor or I will be forced to open fire upon you before seeking out the outpost of my people you no doubt hobble to."

Anubis practically growled and I smirked. "Boy, I'm the oldest ancient in existence both ascended and not. Your tantrums will get you nowhere."

Anubis sneered. "Very well, take them…if you can."

I shrugged and shot their hyper drives, popping their shields like bubbles before beaming over my prizes. Three more eyes of the goa'uld were in my hands while Jack, Teal'c and Thor were beamed over but Thor wasn't looking so hot. I beamed up Heimdall and Sam in the cloaked cargo ship and put it in the cargo bay before crippling the other ships that weren't Anubis's mother ship with ease.

Heimdall had the preserved specimen and all his research so I told Anubis over the coms. "Pray we do not meet again because I know your secrets and know this, the others cannot stop me if it is my will to destroy you at the cost of myself."

He growled and slammed his fists down so I took us to Othala immediately. With the suped up hyper drives we arrived in an hour before I beamed Thor and Heimdall down with the stuff they'd gotten. I landed the ship on docking and beamed us to the gate. I told Freyr at the gate to let us know when Thor recovers before warning him that the ship is there's, but it would be unwise to over tax their power with such advanced systems too often.

Freyr nodded and thanked me for everything before I waved a hand and opened a portal to the SGC, cutting the power to the defenses and Iris's to prevent us from dying. I walked through and the others came with me. Once we stepped through the gate shut off and power was restored to the base and everything. Jack said he thought only Asgard could do that.

I shrugged. "Maybe. Anyways, the replicators are toast and this time for good. It took a month and a half for the trap to be sprung and the weapon fully built to destroy them all at once."

Jack asked. "A nuke?"

I shook my head. "More like a bug zapper."

He seemed interested. "A spray maybe?"

I shook my head. "A light breeze maybe."

He shook his head before sighing. "Daniel died or ascended or whatever."

I shrugged. "You do know he can take on human form right? So he's not technically dead. Think of him like a force ghost from that dumb movie you watch all the time. Gone but not or whatever only he can come back anytime he wants."

We had a meeting at the SGC and I explained how Anubis knows about ancient technology as well as how he's likely searching for repositories of knowledge left behind. I told them how he was just energy held together by the cloak and that I'd prevented him from collecting the eyes of the goa'uld, taking three he had and I had a good idea where the last two were. I left on my own through the gate the next day and retrieved the eye of Apophis from Apophis's throne world before going to the Asgard to collect the cargo ship and my resources.

I brought the cargo ship back and returned it to the SGC before telling them Thor had slipped into a coma. Weeks later Drey'auc's symbiote matured and she refused to take another even if we procured one which led to her death. Ry'ac blamed Teal'c and I stayed out of that hot mess while Anubis began firing a weapon at our stargate through the wormhole that was causing our gate to redouble the energy repeatedly building it over time. Seeing this, I walked into the gate room and hummed before bringing out the Asgard stone.

I brought out my suit and took it off manually before setting it together and taking out a vial of nanites. The nanites took over the suit and I told Sam to hand me her reactor core from the gate room. She brought it and I told her to tell Teal'c to fly to Abydos in the cargo ship and warn Bra'tac to stay clear of Anubis and his plans for earth so he doesn't get caught up in the blast wave.

She asked what made me think he'd know and I shrugged. "Just in case. Have him contact the Tok'ra for the same reasons then have him fly the cargo ship back to pick up the gate. It's going to explode and I'm going to make sure it's not on earth when it does. Add that to what I'm doing her and the gate as well as the planet it's on will be doing the same."

General Hammond asked what my big plan was because I'd failed to pull him in on the loop so I told him the gate was screwed, no way around that, but making sure Anubis can't do it again is the goal so I'm going to rake a full feedback loop that'll make both gates explode at the same time, taking out the device and any ships he has in orbit when the planet goes.

General Hammond asked about Rodney's EMP generator idea and I gave him a screwed up face. "The device on the other side isn't a car battery. It's pulling energy directly from subspace and causing the feedback in our gate because it specifically doesn't run on such technology. An EMP generator could no more stop it than it can me. At best you'll cut the time we have down considerably because you'll have to open the Iris, letting the energy in unimpeded."

I turned to Rodney in the gate control room before shaking my head and continuing to work when General Hammond gave the go ahead. I finished while the suit raised it up and out of the mountain. Ten hours later Jack and Teal'c returned so I stripped out the escape pods and all the unnecessary equipment before modifying the cargo ship a great deal to carry the payload and get it far enough away from earth.

Once the ship was strapped to it, my suit flew it out of the atmosphere with only a bit of turbulence before opening a hyperspace window and jumping to Anubis's location and cloaking. The new guy Jonas asked where I sent it to and I smirked. "Anubis."

I walked back to the truck while the others heard me saying. "It's all gift wrapped and cloaked just for him. If he wants to blow up stargates he can be the one they explode on. It's not like I can build a new stargate after all. I mean really, any moron with a credit card and a bit of know how can build a stargate that functions at least once. I built the stargate on the Tok'ra main base a long time ago and that wasn't hard at all."

Sam asked. "What about your suit?"

I turned back to her with a smirk. "It'll be back once it drops off my gift to the Mensa club of morons."

I hopped in the truck and yawned before going to sleep. Jack woke me when we got to the base and General Hammond said I hadn't told him I was sending the gate to Anubis. I shrugged. "I figured since he wanted to keep it open so long he can pay for his own collect calls."

George approved and before asking how long it'd take to build a new gate. I shrugged. "A year give or take. It's not hard, just tedious work by myself. I can speed it up to a month if I use nanites, but it'll be a long month and most of that will be programming it into the gate network which can't be avoided because it has to be done properly to go to all the places the Terra gate needs to like Atlantis."
