Jonas ended up getting excited about Vis Uban, the last ancient city and an incomplete one at that. Still, we went, found an amnesiac Daniel and Jonas had a really bad idea so there we were tricking Anubis into thinking Vis Uban was the lost city of Atlantis. Jack and Sam used an X-302 to slip past the shields on Anubis's ship, blow the vent and cause the weapon to overload. I'd snuck aboard with Daniel and Jonas so while they were doing whatever, I was stealing the eyes back while the weapons was about to overload with a feedback loop.
The weapon was damaged and Anubis thought the eyes destroyed because of it. They were safely tucked away while I snuck aboard Anubis's special escape pod and planted a cloaked naquadah enhanced nuclear device. It was triggered by proximity to my suit so once it left a certain distance from my suit the bomb would go off. In the end Jonas was captured, Daniel was hiding and I was emptying all the weapons and death glider storages.
The ship jumped into hyperspace and when it jumped out, I'd finished taking all the death gliders, Alkesh and cargo ships. Anubis was quite angry, especially when all the Jaffa weapons and grenades were gone. It was enough to outfit an army, imagine that. Hell, I'd taken pretty much everything that wasn't nailed down and even put Jaffa to sleep leaving them naked basically all over the ship.
I found Daniel and helped him find Jonas before we jumped ship by ringing down to an old ring platform. There we killed a bunch of Jaffa I hadn't disarmed yet and hey, it's a big damned ship so I can't be everywhere. Anubis's Naquadria power source blew and he failed to get the crystal by the time Teal'c and the system lords arrived.
Anubis's main ship blew and he went to escape in his pod, going into hyperspace only for his ship to blow and the backlash destroyed most of the system lord's fleet as well. Ba'al fled the explosion and very few ships made it out of that. In the end Anubis was up there floating but he'd eventually come down no doubt about that. Until then we left and Jonas returned to his home world to continue helping out.
Medical beds, medicines, food, shield technology and inter-continental teleporters were all shared as well as the knowledge to build crop harvesters and everything up to goa'uld technology for now that wasn't weapons. I got headaches one too many times so I repressed the ascended knowledge, knowing it was the others reminding me it was forbidden by them.
My body could handle it but they didn't like any exceptions to that particular rule. Anyways, life went on as they say. Loki cloned Jack and Faora had begun to help the Jaffa with single dose Tretonin to regain their immune systems and the super soldier serum to regain the lost strength while the longevity serum was offered as well once its was adjusted.
We saved Bra'tac and Ry'ac from a Jaffa slave camp thanks to Daniel and offered them all the chance to forgo ever using another symbiote again. Some of the free jaffa bulked are it but most were ready for change especially with a guaranteed thousand year lifespan, no more symbiotes and their bodies maintaining their peak strength throughout.
Next was a town in a bio dome on a decimated planet. I told them what the link was doing after removing it from them and moved the gate to the center of town where we helped them evacuate with all their stuff and as much of their lives as possible to a safer world in the land of light. On the next mission I moved fast and boosted the power to the ship so the people could be brought out of stasis safely before they could die.
Daniel didn't have to play the lifeboat because everyone except those ten in the ship officer's head were saved, including their annoying leader. I scanned the ship and he demanded we fix it but I ignored him, taking my new reactor core from the booster slot. The ship went dead and I told the people not to worry because we'd bring a more permanent power core.
The leader reached for mine and I told him to piss off. He went to strike me and I slammed his face into the wall so hard he was missing teeth. I told him as I released him on his ass. "This isn't your planet and I'm not one of your idiot followers. Try that again and I'll rip your arm off and beat you to death with it."
I turned to the guards. "That goes for you as well. We're helping because we're nice people, not because we owe you anything. You will not at any point attempt to strike any of us or we will leave you on this rock to die of thirst while we go home wondering about the next idiots that think it's ok to hit us because we're helping."
Several people were afraid, mostly because if we left they'd likely die while a few feared their leader. He told me to leave in between spitting out blood, mucous and teeth. I shrugged. "No sweat off my back. Less work I have to do. Good luck. FYI, I will brutally torture and kill you all myself if you strike the blonde female. All it takes is one of you and you all die screaming and begging for death."
I walked out and Jack asked if that was necessary when he joined me. I grunted. "Self entitled monarchs are my Achilles heel for my rage. I'm no longer blocking out all of my past anymore Jack, just the ascended knowledge. I used to kill men like him when I ruled my kingdom. I served the people and people like him were always looking to take advantage of my people. They had to know there are real consequences to their actions or they'd run all over us and their own people."
I sat on a rock carving a piece of wood absentmindedly while Jack sighed. "It's not our business."
I gave him a look. "Kid, I'm very old. I've ruled worlds, kingdoms and hell dimensions that would scare your hair the rest of the way white with a glimpse. When someone tries to take what's mine and strike me, I make it my business to ensure they don't attempt it again. If that means scaring his people into being more afraid of me than him as they clearly are, I'm fine with that. I don't give a damn about their opinions anyways and it makes you all far safer even if it means they may kill him for me if he crosses the line."
I stood up and passed him a replica of their ship in exquisite detail. "Your life means more to me than a planet of their lives and Sam's even more. It's mean to say but I'll do whatever it takes to make sure she and the rest of you get to go home at the end of the day. I was never much for politics, mostly because I despised lying and honesty, open honesty, was the way I ruled my human people. Demons, real spawns of hell, those I didn't give a piss about and used a brutal savagery that would make the devil blush to keep them in line."
Jack hesitated before asking. "Real demons?"
I nodded. "The multiverse is vast and it includes more than the mirror can show you. Not all of that is a good thing."
He said he could see that much so weeks flew by before an Unas incident happened and I went to check it out. I shot a probe satellite into the air and it flew into orbit, breaking up and covering the globe. From there a hologram of the planet appeared over my hand. Life signs were detected and seeing how many, I told the Colonel in charge of the mining camp. "I'd pull your men back if I were you."
He gave me a look and grunted. "And why is that?"
I zoomed in and showed him. "This entire planet is covered in caves filled with Unas. There are literally millions of them and if you pick this fight, I'll leave you all here to die."
He stilled and saw the hologram before calling his men back and asking how accurate it was. I zoomed in to us and told him to dance and it would show it in real time. He pulled his men back and Daniel brought Chaka to make negotiations. I told General Hammond that there were several large pockets of naquadah that the satellite showed, but I wouldn't help them start a war with the Unas who are peaceful.
The colonel asked. "Peaceful? They killed one of my men."
I shrugged. "It's a warning. You came to their home planet, desecrated the graves of their ancestors and likely started shifting and pissing on them. What would you do if a bunch of strangers pissed on your father's grave."
He growled and I snorted lightly. "Trust me kid, you and your men are getting of lightly. If you'd done that to my son's grave your skulls would decorate my fireplace and you don't want to know what I'd have done before I killed you all."
I turned to General Hammond. "Chaka and Daniel can negotiate. Chaka is highly intelligent and will understand. If the Unas agree, I can use the link technology we acquired from the bio dome planet to teach them how to use the crystals to mine it all up."
General Vidrine asked. "And if they don't agree?"
I grunted. "You'll have to find another planet or go to war with millions of Unas. The choice is yours General, but I won't help you and if you use weapons technology you've gotten from me I will leave earth to whatever fate it can eek out. I will not condemn millions for the foolish greed of others."
I left them to it and heard Daniel was able to talk it out. I suggested General Hammond retain Chaka's services by providing food, water and medicines for his people in exchange for his negotiating skills with any further Unas such mining worlds may have. He and the president agreed so soon we were met with an opportunity to help in a space race. Sam wanted to participate so I worked on the Sebrus myself and insured that no sabotage had taken place.
Sure an idiot tried, but I stunned him and left him in a trash heap so there was no chance for him to succeed. When I finished the upgrades, the Sebrus was the most advanced ship these aliens had by a long shot. It's weapons and shields alone made it devastating while it's speeds were capable of near light speed travel. I warned Warrick against going so fast because it would drain his power and the naquadah reactor the faster he went.
He asked if it needed any navigational upgrades and I tapped his screens, showing him. "Real time navigation throughout the galaxy that can't be screwed with by stellar radiation. Your coms now work as subspace communication relays so you can be in the star and still get a good signal."
He relaxed and thanked me again before I grunted. "I didn't do it for you exactly. Sam wants to race and I don't want my wife dead. To that end I'd do just about anything."
I kissed Sam and she smiled before I wished them luck. They won the race and it wasn't even a challenge with how fast they were going. Their weapons decimated the turrets, they looped the star before the rest could reach it and blew a hole straight through the asteroid field. The results mystified everyone including Warrick while there were a bunch of humans that were spitting mad.
Warrick even got himself another copilot in a human female captain that came in second. I later learned they married and had two kids. Some weeks later an idiot made a virus that shut down the gate network when Ba'al copied and altered the virus for his own uses. Our DHD had to be taken offline and the computer dialing was back to fix the issues.
Our teams were fine because the portable armband DHDs weren't affected, but Ba'al was kicking system lords asses. I took the opportunity to kill a few myself including Olokun, Yu and helped bring down the Morrigan. The Tok'ra had did most of that one, I just made sure they got out alive. The free Jaffa movement took on dozens of hatak ships and thousands of warriors, bolstering their ranks now more than ever.
The serums offered in bulk freed their people of the symbiotes for good which in turn ensured their loyalties to the cause. When the system was back up, one of the more hands on missions was interrupted by a group of female Jaffa akin to the female Amazonian tribes. They needed symbiotes and we offered a different more permanent solution. To that end, Teal'c told them about the serums and that he was on it even now, free of the goa'uld's hold over them for the next thousand years of his coming long life.
They asked about the success rate and I spoke up. "So far thousands of Jaffa of both genders and all ages have taken them. None have had adverse effects, but that doesn't mean the possibility isn't there. We have trained specialists, medicines and if all else fails, the Tok'ra queen Egeria is willing to part with symbiotes to those who wish to remain as they are. The choice is yours."
I hopped off the branch I was sitting on and told Jack. "I'm bored. I'm gonna go take care of Moloc. You can stay here and deal with whatever this is."
Jack grunted. "Bring me back a souvenir."
I shrugged and six hours later I brought back a hatak ship with Moloc's head. I tossed the bloody bag to Jack. "Your souvenir, Moloc's head."
I turned to the warrior woman leader. "The hatak is for you and your people. I had to kill Moloc to get it and a few very loyal Jaffa, but it's all yours and safe. I've removed the self destruct and added cloaking, upgraded shields as well as a bunch of food, water and stuff I found on Moloc's throne world."
I tossed her the control device to ring up and she thanked me. I shrugged and Jack asked how come he got a head. I shrugged. "There wasn't another ship. Moloc may have been feared but he wasn't that powerful."
