The Tower of Furthest Sight - Part 2

I'll be short, I didn't accept it. Some of you may be crazy at me for not having taken such an opportunity to find more about my escape or my journey but I've done it for a good reason, if it really affects me as much as Lavreol said than I wanted to complete this by myself- at least for now.... I didn't want to see more than what I need, what if I didn't like it and I did something mad? No, it was my choice and my choice was to refuse. Lavreol took it without problem and just respected my choice, everything was fine and I was ready to depart, to continue on my path.

I was just going to leave when I felt something, something dark seemed to have crawled inside and as it did I saw a shadow moving on a corner, it disappeared as I blinked, was it just an hallucination, could it be just nothing? But one thing was sure, the dark creature was real if not the shadow. I sneakily went near it and in that moment Lavreol came from upstairs. Not the time to take a breath that the creature jumped onto him, there was something strange, a dark atmosphere took over the room. That wasn't Lavreol, it couldn't be, the person I had in front had red eyes without any white and the creature seemed to be staying well near him. The door suddenly closed, I was trapped!

And the man spoke: "Die human! DIE!!!", that definitely wasn't Lavreol... A red panel appeared: "Two enemies detected!". I knew it! Those two things, tha man and the creature were monsters!

Not yet fully discovered

Great! I now have to deal with dark forces! Why does this all happen to me? I had no time to find an answer, the thing, I mean the illusioner attacked me with... flying black orbs? It wasn't in the abilities explanation! But then I understood, "not yet fully discovered" meant that the abilities also weren't all listed... I dodged his orbs moving continuisly left and right around the room but I wasn't sure how long I could resist, I had to pass onto offensive, and quickly. I jumped and activated levitation whilst in air and used the platforms to float my way behind the Illusioner, unlucky me, his 'pet' was choking onto my leg! Stupid animal, I was going to get caught by the enemy's attacks if I didn't react fast enough! I shook the creature off my body and continued my levitation plan, but it was too late, the illusioner understood my strategy and was prepared to respond. A black tornado appeared around him and spirits invaded the room trying to possess me and kill me at the same time. I felt strange, I was loosing grip onto my conscience...

The spirits were winning and as it works in life I was loosing. I was paralysed and not able to attain from my internal font of energy to try to use my abilities. And then is when I got an idea, I let the spirits come closer and used the secondary effect of levitation to make them levitate towards around me, if the illusioner could take control of spirits in a dark tornado why then not using his same way? I made the spirits spin faster until they became a tornado as well and then I let my conscience to be merged with it, if my plan worked than I would be safe now, but it was risky, if it didn't work then I was lost forever.

But it did work and I was now in a state of spirit myself, I was in a void where there was no gravity and the illusioner was just in front of me, I entered his spirit-controlling dimension. I ran towards him and forged a sword out of nothing thanks to the power of my own will in that dimension and pointed to his chest, I stabbed him to his heart, I killed the shadow of death, or maybe not, I just killed an illusioner, there certainly were more deathful monsters like him. As he and his pet disappeared, the real world (actually, the game world) reappeared. Yes, I won, and he also left loot! There wasn't much, in fact there was only one of his orbs, I left it there, not sure if I wanted to take something that was previously carried by darkness with me...

I had to leave, if they reached me there than they could reach me anywhere and I didn't want to be engaged in a battle again soon. No, I had to leave NOW. I went away leaving the Tower of Furthest Sight behind, heading to the town which seemed like I was never going to reach. I left nothing to advise Lavreol, wherever he was, there was no time for that... I didn't want to face the dark again, it was my first time but I wanted it to be the last. And as I thought this I saw a glance of the shadow I saw before the Illusioner's arrival, reminding me that maybe it my wish of forgetting darkness wasn't going to be fulfilled, much more was waiting for me in this, today's was only a bit of what I would have had to face in future...
