Chapter 4. Ancestral Family

In the back of an ambulance, two figures were wrapped in a blanket, answering questions from the police in front of them.

Elizabeth, who was responding sincerely, was shaking as she reported the accident.

As he was classified as self-defense, Hypnos got away with any problems.

Which was not surprising. Since he was only 6 years old.

When asked about the revolver, the two replied that they did not know where it ended.

Clearly, this was not willingly accepted, as in the coming days a thorough search was carried out throughout the orphanage and even in the

near the surrounding forest.

After a long week of searching, the search was finally ended and no trace of the weapon was found.

Hypnos didn't even think they could find him, so he was really just being compassionate and pretending to be innocent.

In the years that followed, they were constantly approached by the media about what happened.

Since he was in no mood to discuss the purge of such a filthy creature, he simply ignored them all.

In the same elegantly arranged attic, a young man was sitting cross-legged while enjoying a book.

Even with the lights off, the brightness of the full moon allowed him to see the contents without problems.

While he was distracted, he suddenly felt his neck being involved.

He heard a sweet voice in his ear.

"Happy birthday, Hypnos."

"Hmm." He agreed.

Even without turning around, he already knew who the voice belonged to.

After so many years, the shy girl grew up to be a beautiful girl.

For some reason, she refused to change rooms, and for the last few years, she still remains a resident in the attic.

Over the years, the two have been involved in a strange relationship.

While Hypnos remained cold to everyone, he was a little more open to Elizabeth.

While Elizabeth was the same. She was cold to everyone but Hypnos.

With today being his 11th birthday, tomorrow would also be Elizabeth's birthday.

It was a strange coincidence, but Hypnos simply ignored it and remembered to wish her a happy birthday.

Before going to sleep, Hypnos removed the top of his clothes.

His muscles well-defined and a 6-pack belly was found in the silver light of the full moon.

In recent years, in addition to the tonic that was the infusion of pure energy into his body, he had practiced physical exercises, which had given him a good body to flaunt. Not that he was the type of person to do that.

As usual, Hypnos felt burning eyes coming his way.

It was clear to Hypnos that, over the years, this girl had different feelings for him.

But he did not know if he should answer, since this world would not be his home for a long time, after all, he would depend on the strongest mana to recover.

As soon as he fell asleep, everything happened quickly and in the blink of an eye or the sun shone on him.

With his eyes open, he shows the figure of Elizabeth waking up maliciously.

Her long brown hair fell over her head like a waterfall.

His greenish eyes breed with Hypnos before a warm smile appears.

"Good morning darling!" She said with a mischievous smile.

Hypnos rolled his eyes a little and said.

"Good morning, Liz."

The intimate moment was broken when the knock was thrown through the door.

"I answer!" Liz said jumping out of bed.

Hypnos agreed and put his legs on the cold floor.

Even with the sight of the door blocked, he can still hear like matrimonial voices.

"Wake up kids, a Mrs. Mcgonagall came up with a study proposal for you!" She looked excited and proud of Hypnos and Liz.

Hypnos stopped moving when he heard the name.

"McGonagall? Isn't that the name I heard in mortal literature?" To occupy the infinite space that came from immortal life, many gods were found in order to distract themselves from the things present in mortal worlds.

And with Hypnos, it is no different. As was already obvious from a huge bookcase in the corner of the attic, Hypnos was an avid reader.

Among the famous kinds of the literature of the human world, he vaguely resembles a certain book about a parallel land where there is magic.

One of the most striking characters had the same name as the person who came to visit us today. Even more suspicious was her offer to study abroad.

Soon the figure appeared at an angle visible to him.

His two eyes meet before she approaches and tells a matron.

"Could you leave us alone for a moment? I have to talk about the proposal."

"Yes, yes, of course. With your license." Then the matron said goodbye.

In the room, only the two cheerful figures and the mature woman remained.

"First of all, I must introduce myself correctly. My name is Minerva McGonagall. I am the vice-principal of a school that is a little different than what they are used to."

Seeing that they both heard everything she said, she continued, shortly after removing two envelopes.

- I'm afraid you are, Hypnos von Austräs, am I correct?

Hypnos responded with a wave.

"Well, as you may have noticed, you two are not just kids

normal. "

Before she could continue her sentence, everyone in the room heard a loud shout.

A small black bird appeared through the open window and ended up on Hypnos's shoulder.

It had two large and two small wings.

Nyx looked dangerously at the Minerva that was very close to her master.

"A Thunderbird !?" Shemurmured in disbelief.

Hypnos looked at Nyx with a strange look.

Over the years, her figure was much larger than he was at the moment.

He did not know that this could arbitrarily decrease its size.

"Convenient." Hypnos thought.

"Tell me Hypnos, why is that bird with you !?" She asked in a stiff tone.

Turning Nyx's attention away, he looked at Minerva.

"She came to me, so I adopted her. Is there a problem with that?" Even though he asked in a calm tone, the last sentence sounded strange to Minerva, who frowned.

"Good boy, as I was saying, you are not a normal child. Adding my argument, I can say that this bird on your shoulder is a mystical bird known as Thunderbird. Our school brings together special children like you to teach you how to control your powers. "At the end of the sentence, she handed both letters to Elizabeth and Hypnos.

When opening the letter, written in an elegant way.

Hypnos felt a special feeling of excitement.

It was very difficult for something to do that in Hypnos. Just something really different like that could make you feel.

"I was tired of being in that attic. It would be nice to learn other things." He thought.

Looking away, he saw Liz making very happy leaps.

Unconsciously, he smiled a little.

"Okay, Mrs. Mcgonagall. But I have a few questions. Would you mind answering me?"

"Sure, go ahead, boy."

"How are we going to get to this school and also how are we going to buy the materials? You know, we are orphans. Also, how am I going to get approval from the Ministry to take Nyx?"

"On the first day of September, the special Hogwarts train will depart from station 9¾, stay tuned for details and you will be able to get there. If the student has no wizard money, the ministry will make the material available until he arrives. Money to pay for the As for Ave, I'm sure the director will get permission from the Ministry. "Breathing a little McGonagall told everything he had asked for.

Hypnos considered it a little and nodded.

"Well, now that the main issue has been resolved, tomorrow I will take you to pick up school supplies." As soon as McGonagall said goodbye and left the room, the two looked at each other.

Liz gave Hypnos a broad smile because of the good news.

Just as McGonagall had said, early in the morning they were woken up to shop.

They were led by her to a bar that seemed to have been forgotten in time.

Upon entering, she waved to the man behind the counter and he responded equally.

Following her to the rear of the establishment, they found themselves facing a brick wall stained by time.

"Pay attention, this will be the first and the last time that I will teach you."

With her cane, she pressed some specific bricks before a type of passage formed in front of her.

On the other side, a long street full of life.

Stores and street vendors tried to attract customers with their products and promotions.

On the winding street, the two followed in silence.

With the clear exception of Liz, who had fun and laughed at so many different things than she was used to.

Even Hypnos took a look at some interesting things in your opinion.

Among them, there was a music equipment store.

And right in one of the clean windows, he saw what he wanted. It was a beautiful golden-colored flute with silver sculptures.

He made a mental note of the position of the store to which he would surely return.

It didn't take long for their ride to stop.

They finally arrived at a large building of white and gold marble.

"Behave yourself. Let's go in so I can withdraw the money for your purchases." She looked through her glasses at them both.

Upon entering through the side door, they found themselves in a corridor as beautiful as the entrance.

Especially a somewhat threatening phrase for potential thieves.

Arriving in a long and spacious hall, Hypnos's attention was drawn to the creatures who ran that place.

Above tall chairs, greenish beings counted and polished their shiny gold coins.

Coming to a certain elf, said Minerva.

"I came here to procure Galleons for students."

The goblin waved and said in his loud voice.

"Grock, take her to the special safe."

Before being accompanied by the elf, she again asked to be expected here.

As soon as his figure was gone, Hypnos turned to the goblin in the high chair and said.

"I think they do family blood tests here, right?"

The leprechaun with his yellow eyes turned to look at the boy who was talking to him.

"Yes, but it is not free, it will cost 1 Galleon to test." The goblin said with a wry smile.

"I would like to exchange my money for wizard money." He said before taking out a lot of money.

In recent years, he has not been completely inactive.

With his high intellect, he participated in several competitions involving studies.

It didn't take long for him to add a minimum amount in his opinion.

After counting the wad of money, he brought a full bag and handed it over.

"Here it is. It's $ 100,000 is equivalent to 4000 wizard galleons."

"Good. So I order a blood test." He said before taking a gold coin and setting it on the table.

"So be it. Throw a drop of blood on the paper and your lineage will be revealed," he told her before handing him a blank piece of paper.

Putting his finger on a table pin, he saw his blood drain and stain the paper.

As if there were an invisible writer, the letters began to form on the blank sheet, the information was so much that it almost jumped out of the paper.

Even the goblin was curious to know what was written on the paper.

Hiding from everyone, he read in silence.

================================================== == ============

Name Hypnos Von Austräs Vermillion.

Lineage: Austrian Vermillion. Legitimate heir.

(Supreme Patriarch of the branches of the family)

Heritage: noble titles still active in monarchical countries, 24 castles, 13 territories, 36 properties, 15 family coffers in Gringotts…

Hypnos hissed at the long list of inheritances and information.

After reading, Elizabeth managed to sneak behind his shoulders and read after him.

Beside him, she also seemed surprised by Hypnos' origin.

"I'm surprised. Mr. Austräs. I didn't expect such a long story. Would you like to check your private safe?"

Hypnos frowned.

"Wouldn't I need to be the real patriarch of the family to access it?"

"As the only legitimate member and heir of the family, it is your right to redeem your inheritances." He said with his sinister smile.

"It's good. Liz, wait here, in case McGonagall comes back, I'm going to visit my safe," he said after thinking about it.

"Arlak, take Mr.Austräs to the number 02 safe."

Soon, an elf took him down a corridor to a wagon station.

Coming in behind Arlak, he was told to wait.

He answered and gripped the steel edges tightly.

Soon in a deep fall, the winds came strong, leaving your hair wild.

The descent took just over twenty minutes.

On the long descent, flames and roars sounded near him, which reminded him of a supposed dragon told in the story.

Much later, they finally came to a cave plan filled with scorching lava.

Apparently, there was magical protection on the cart that made the flames and intense heat not affect them.

On this flat path, they quickly reached their destination.

It was on a small island attached to the red walls of the cave.

After descending into the red earth, he found himself in a transparent dome resembling a soap bubble.

Probably protection against the wild elements that surrounded them.

No thief would go this far without adequate protection.

At the top of the shiny safe door, the number two written in a flourishing green letter.

"Come here, Mr. Austräs. For this type of safe, you need a goblin hand and the blood of its owner. As a direct heir, your blood will awaken the seal and recognize you as the owner."

After Arlak printed his palm on the door, Hypnos did the same with his bleeding finger.

As soon as he did, a magic circle filled with scriptures and strange shapes flashed on the door.

Only after the blood was distributed through the magic circle did the brightness diminish and the door opened.

"Bravo! A very special safe was opened a long time ago." Arlak shouted excitedly and proudly that he was the only one to witness one of his oldest clients.

Ignoring the Goblin, he put his feet inside the safe.

The golden glow instantly invaded his eyes.

Even though he saw mountains and mountains of galleons, he was interested in other items there.

Leaning against the walls were shelves with various strange items and books.

Large booths filled with exotic and shiny weapons, without a hint of time.

In particular, there was a blade attached to a large stone.

The flashy appearance attracted his attention.

She reminded him of a certain story that he was also familiar with.

"Excalibur". He murmured and without realizing it, he was also heard by Arlak, who gaped.

Walking quickly to the sword, he stopped in front of the blade.

One of his favorite tales written by mortals. It was the classic story of the famous King Arthur who wielded the sacred sword.

Even though it was no better than the divine swords of the hefestus, he still thought it was cool to draw the blade to prove his lineage.

Amused by the idea, Hypnos approached and leaned against the stone.

Regardless of whether it worked or not, he found it very intriguing how the sword got there.

With a weak tug, he felt a sliding sensation.

"Oh really?" He thought about disbelief.

Pulling a little further, the ancient sword was really detaching itself from the ancient stone.

When he pulled one last time, the sword finally came out.

"I am impressed. Hephaestus would be interested in studying how they made such a sacred blade." He mumbled just to himself.

Behind him, he heard a faint noise.

Looking back he saw the goblin Arlak kneeling on the floor.

"My King, your servant Arlak of the old Ursgrim family bowed to your majesty!" His words seemed truly fervent and sincere.

"Interesting." He said when he saw the goblin kneeling.

"Perhaps the pendragon is a branch of the Austräs Vermillion main family?" It was the only conclusion to the question.

As the supreme patriarch of the main family and also of the branches, it was convenient for a sword like Excalibur to serve him.

One more reason was his pure heart that had no resentment towards humanity. He was even compassionate and an admirer.

After walking among the arms stands, he saw several weapons that could be considered treasures of humanity. However, there were none that really matched Excalibur and were also not as well known.

"Maybe in the other vaults?" He thought.

After combing through a few more things, He rescued some books on magic and history and even found a ring with a large interior space, and there he kept some things.

With enough galleons to buy several castles, he went out with Arlak.

Just before leaving through the big doors, he stopped his steps when he remembered something.

Turning to Arlak he asked with narrowed eyes.

"You wouldn't tell what happened here, would you?" An invisible aura surrounded Arlak like an invisible whip.

"If it is ... of your will ... My King. I Arlak of Ursgrim, I swear by my blood never to betray His Majesty's will!" Even with the aura that pressed him, Arlak seemed fervent and sincere with his words.

Ending his intimidation, Hypnos gave a sincere smile.

"Being from an old family certainly has its benefits." He thought stoically.

Upon arriving at the station and disembarking, they returned to the main hall.

When he saw Minerva and Liz, they saw him too, when Minerva was about to scold him for missing the goblins, Arlak stopped in front of him with a dangerous look.

Before the Goblin did something stupid, he cut off his future words.

"I'm sorry, Mrs.Mcgonagall. While I was here I couldn't help trying my luck. Who knew I was really lucky enough to be the heir to a family."

Before Minerva said anything, an aged voice came down the hall.

"You are a truly lucky boy. If it is right for you, I would like to have a word alone. After all, your safe has been inactive for so long. I'm sure it deserves a touch of organization."

By turning to the voice. In the highest chair in the hall, an elderly goblin watched them with mysterious eyes, especially Hypnos.

Sensing an additional hint in his words, Hypnos watched him before turning to Mcgonagall and saying with a smile.

"Mrs.Mcgonagall. I suppose there is no need for me to go shopping. Could you accompany Liz? I'm sure she will take what is necessary for two of us. Besides. I am grateful and sorry for making you waste your time getting money for us. " His ending was complemented by seeing a small bag in her hands.

Just before convincing them to go shopping, he handed Liz a small bag with galleons enough for shopping.

Seeing his figures in the distance, he turned to the elderly Goblin.

"Well. Shall we go?
