After her father threw her and her mother out of the family, Ling Fen decides to work in small restaurants to earn some money for their family.
Her adoptive brother, Gong Xu also works together with his sister but because they fight too much, they are fired from one job to the next, and this way none of them can keep a single job they are hired in.

Her initial dream is to own her own hotel franchise but she does not have the capital to start.

On the way to her dream, she meets many challenges on the way but is able to avoid them in time.

She also meets the boss of the Li Group, Chen Li who ends up falling in love with her and protects her along the way.

SUPER CHEF FEN FEN

Ling Fen happily picked ingredients from the market with Gong Xu's help. They were going to celebrate back at home together with their mother. The ingredients she chose were especially fresh and were able to make one salivate just at the sight of them.


She picked a lot of things. Gong Xu wanted to remind her that she was only going to make food for three people and not a whole village but he still manage to hold that in. he did not incur the other's wrath.


Ling Fe's voice beamed as she sent praises here and there,                                     


"Sir, your fish scaling skills are top-notch! I have never seen anyone with such skills."


"Ma'am, your daughter is so pretty, she will even be as pretty as me when she grows up."


She did not forget to praise herself while praising others


Her comments made everyone laugh. Even Gong Xu could not help but lift his lips a few times. All the compliments she had given earned her extra everything of what she bought. The vendors were happy with her easy-going personality.


Their bags were bustling with many things by the time they decided to go home. Both of them were holding bags in each hand as they stood at the bus station that was near the market.


Where they stood, a speeding car suddenly passed them. The car was bright yellow and it seemed like the latest Ferrari that had just hit the market. Cars like this were built solely for speed


The owner was driving it at full speed as if the road was her property. The wind that followed the car almost knocked Ling Fen down. The bag in her right hand slipped and the contents almost overflowed out of it.


"Who is that driving like a maniac?" Gong Xu shouted as he helped Ling Fen. Even the other people by the roadside started shouting. It seemed as though the person in the car heard them because the car suddenly came to a screeching halt.


Mo Yurou who was inside the car almost bumped her head on the front deck. Deep anger was bubbling inside of her after the humiliation she had received back then at the Diamond Palace. How had she not known that Chen Li actually had a girlfriend?


This piece of news cut inside of her like thousands of knives. She had then driven her car off in anger and got so lost in it that she did not notice the level of speed she was actually driving.


Her hair was disheveled as he lowered the window and shouted towards the angry mob, "Get out of my way!" she then drove off at a speed higher than before.


The people left behind complained angrily when the car not only drove off but the owner even shouted at them.


Ling Fen stared at the car that had already gone quite far. She could not help but think that it was familiar but where she saw it, she could not remember.


The two boarded a bus back home after the commotion had settled.


Song Yu, Ling Fen's mother was standing by the door when the two arrived. She smiled brightly at Gong Xu and said, "A-Xu, congratulations!" her tone was generally happy. Gong Xu felt warmth rise in his heart, "Thanks, Mum."


The three got in and Ling Fen busied herself with preparing a meal while Gong Xu and Song Yu loitered around the kitchen without helping at all.


"If you are not going to help then get out." Ling Fen said when she saw that the two just looked at her without doing anything else. Song Yu laughed while Gong Xu picked up the vegetables to wash.


The three helped each other and soon the table was full of sumptuous-looking meals. The biggest bowl of all contained pork trotters while the others contained the vegetables Gong Xu helped prepare and other meals. Gong Xu stared at the bowl of Pork trotters and almost salivated.


The three of them then sat harmoniously to enjoy the congratulatory dinner for the newest top star


"Here, top star, have some vegetables." Ling Fen teased while Song Yu laughed.


Have Some Vegetables
