Episode 25 : Garden Of Eden (3)

Somewhere at the top of the mountain was a masked figure standing on the cliff of the mountain.

"It didn't go as I planned. Indeed, they are definitely worth it to kill. Haha."

With a scythe around her shoulders and a mask that covered her face, she was chuckling while staring at the bottom of the mountain.

The reason she was standing there, was because she was the one who caused an avalanche at 'The Rebels' Guild.

Not once feeling remorse or guilt for almost causing the death of 'The Rebels' Guild, she kept smirking like a villainess as she was recalling the scene where 'The Rebels' Guild was dealing with the avalanche easily.

"Welp. Better luck next time." She spoke while spinning her scythe around for fun.

Out of the blue, a man's voice from behind her was calling out to her by her nickname. "Reaper! Stop standing there and get your butt back in the temple."

"Hah. Alright, alright."

Eventually, the nicknamed Reaper turned around from her spot and glanced at the man in front of her.

Thanks to the mask, the masked figure didn't have to worry about anyone noticing her hellish expression underneath her mask.

Most likely because whenever she makes that kind of expression, someone is going to die by her hands once again. And now, her next target for her killing spree will begin from here.

'I'm happy to join this guild filled with players who do PK.' The masked figure mused while walking toward the man ahead of her.

Hereafters, she smirked as she was a few steps away from getting close to that man. 'But won't it be boring?'

Halted beside this man, The masked figure whispered with a nightmarish tone when she slid her scythe between this man's neck.

"Being the only PK player is much more thrilling!"

Accompanied with a slash to chop off this man's head, the reason why this man couldn't react to her attack was because she did everything to bring a stop to his movements by using her new obtained skill.

[Player '669' has activated the Skill, 'Impending Doom' Lv. 1.]

By then, his head had been detached from his body and was falling onto the snow until the masked figure moved her hand and grabbed it like it was just a normal thing.

Not even gross out by this, she pulled his hair and stared at his head because she knew that cutting off the head wouldn't exactly bring death to everyone.

"How dare you!!!!!!" The man shouted.

Because of how the HP bars worked, this man should have been dead, but since his HP had only depleted accordingly to the damages he received, he remained perfectly alive even with his head off his body.

"Yeah, yeah. Shut the fuck up, won't you?" The masked figure sneered.

Not having spare time to play around now, the masked figure speedily tossed the head down to the bottom of the mountain, watching it roll onto the snow as it was getting hard to spot it with all the snow covering it.

Afterwards, she needed to do something about the body which was why she resorted to using another skill she got.

[Player '669' has activated the Skill, 'Decay' Lv. 1.]

Using this skill, the body of the man she had killed was now turning to that of rotten fleshes, crumbling down to the ground before getting kicked off the mountain by her.

"He should be dead now. One weakling down, more to go. Hah."

Not long after that, she had received a message about obtaining a 'Numbers', smiling upon reading it.

"Welp, let's go in a killing spree, shall I?" She spoke to herself, skipping toward the temple's entrance by herself.

Before then, she pondered for a bit. "By the way, I wonder what that greenhouse was. It seems good but I can't risk going in there with those rebels guys."

Shrugging when she reached that conclusion, the masked figure touched her mask before staring at the temple's entrance in front of her.

"..and I don't want to die like that."

As if she was gripping her mask to express how much she didn't want anyone to see her face, she blankly stopped walking and gazed at the snow.

"..Fucking morons."

After those two words resounded from her lips, she unleashed a blast of withering smoke around her to show how frustrated she was with something from her past.

From a far distance, the masked figure definitely looked like a grim reaper who would be coming for everyone's lives.

By that moment on, she shook her head and began walking toward the entrance to start her killing spree.

After a short while, Frostina was observing at the two 'Helpers' who had crashed landed into the Garden Of Eden like a bunch of idiotic barbarians.

Not moments before she could proceed to ponder why those angels were there, a system message emerged in front of everyone.

[You have come across a Special Event!]

[The Special Event, 'Garden Of Eden' will begin shortly!]

Although the messages interrupted her, Frostina took no time to think about why the 'Helpers' entered this place.

'I even warned them with my gaze, yet it didn't work.' Frostina thought while surveying her surroundings.

From there, her eyes were filled with a field of flowers, trees and everything related to plants within this single greenhouse.

It was a beautiful sight to lay one's eyes on, yet this was just a distraction for everyone to see, which was why Frostina warned her guild.

"Don't touch anything in this place. If you do, you'll have to pay with your body for everything you take."

Frostina turned around to look at her guild members when she suddenly saw half of her guild already mesmerized by this glasshouse.

Luckily, her comrades didn't fall for this type of distraction, however for the others, Frostina was somewhat tired by how these people were easily distracted by Garden Of Eden's admirable plants.

After that, a message related to the event had popped up out of nowhere to inform everyone about this glasshouse.

Not long before she was finished with reading, Frostina and everyone inside this place eventually heard a voice echoing throughout this field.

[Greeting to the people who have found this beautiful greenhouse.]

As soon as this man's voice ended, another voice came to greet everybody.

This time, it was a female voice. [I hope you all enjoy this place as much as we do.]

"Who are those people talking to us?!" Alaine gasped as she jumped the moment she heard the voices.

Beside Alaine was HwanGi, he was looking around the field of plants to figure out where the voices were coming from, but then he was greeted by a leaf flying into his face.

Alaime who had noticed this, chuckled. "Pfft..! Haha!"

When HwanGi heard Alaine giggling, he was already removing the leaf off his face. It was then when he suddenly sighted this marvelous tree ahead of him.

A tree as gigantic as anything in this area was seemingly the center of this greenhouse, not only that, it was extremely tall to the point of reaching the top of the roof.

"..." HwanGi was of course left speechless when he saw this.

[My name is Adam, the one who allowed you all to witness this mythical tree.] Adam introduced himself.

[And my name is Eve, the one who will give you what you seek the most.] Eve introduced herself.

Along with their introductions, their bodies were slowly but surely emerging right in front of everyone's eyes, showing up in the most breathtaking way ever with leaves and flowers surrounding them.

Those who understood nothing about this greenhouse were Alaine, HwanGi, Louis, Mya, Noel and Ruby. Amazed by what they were setting their glances on, they didn't know anything grueling about this place at all.

But the one who knew what would happen later within this place were JoonChul's comrades and Crystal. As they stood and glared at those event moderators, Frostina was sending countless death signals to Adam and Eve because she despised people who hid behind such a pretense smile.

Frostina sneered. 'If only I have the powers to end these people..'

There was also Sapphire who discovered the Garden Of Eden by chances as it was created by the 'Creators' just for their entertainment.

Sapphire wondered as she was glancing at Adam and Eve's so-called grins. 'This place is good for those who have a strong desire for something they wish for, but the payments are sometimes cruel..'

'And the ones who set those payments are Adam and Eve…'

Having to see two people smiling leisurely, Sapphire saw how Adam and Eve were acting like things are okay right now and weren't at all fazed by the choices they would set for the players.

'Even 'Helpers' are somewhat evil for observing the players, so I have no reason to hate these two.'

"Sapphire. Sapphire! Oi!" Ruby called out to Sapphire who was still staring at Adam and Eve.

After snapping out of it, Sapphire gazed back at Ruby, warning her. "Do not. Absolutely don't touch anything."

"Huh? But we're already touching the field with our bare feet."

"That doesn't count at all." Sapphire sighed a long one.

[The 'Helpers', I do hope you do not intervene in this wonderful event.] Adam spoke kindly before toning down his voice to a threatening one.

[If you do interrupt us, I would have no choice but to kick you out of this garden. Is that clear?]

Without a doubt, his warning was loud and clear to the point of sending chills down the 'Helpers' backbones.

Despite 'Helpers' being angels, they were feeling scared by one of the two event moderators. Just from this thought, it caused Ruby to grow wrathful toward Adam.

"Was that a threat, huh!?!!" Ruby bawled at Adam.

[Now please, don't fight.] Eve intervened to stop the conversation for a bit.

Even that wasn't enough to ease Ruby's anger from raising much further, that was why Sapphire had to prevent Ruby, so that they wouldn't get kicked out of this event.

Just in case, Sapphire whispered to Ruby. "Don't cause another situation or else we won't get to witness this event with our eyes. And you do know we need to report about this to Emerald later, right?"

Ruby grinding her teeth, also understood what Sapphire was talking about.

"Right.. if Emerald knew we were kicked out, she would definitely be mad to punish us for this disgrace."

"Exactly, so do hold your anger in."

Meanwhile, Frostina scoffed at the two angels getting furious over something so trivial. 'Such fools.'
