They led us down a tight squeezing hallway lined with doors. at the end of it, it split into two different directions, with signs over each. The left sign read, Female, and the right, Male. Each person walked down their correct door. I stepped inside the Female door, looking around. The walls were light pink, we dotted cushions and ottomans everywhere. In the room were four other girls, also checking out the place. The ratio of girls to boys was very different. As I did a once over each of them, they were all complete opposites. There was a pale redhead in the corner, her eyes darting and curious. Waltzing around he room in very tall heels was a dark skinned woman, with black hair. Her lipstick was bright red. Two girls stuck together at the hip walked in front of me. They looked nervous, and seemed to be best friends. One had blonde hair, the other had dyed red hair.
"As you all should know, this is a televised game, so you must look your best!" Clicking on her cellphone, another women entered. "Everyone go to the rack with your name on it. There you will find clothing that best fits you,"
I glanced at the racks of clothes, seeing my rack, with little colour. I started for it.
"Put one outfit on, then the rest in your bag," She said distracted, and walked away. I grabbed out a dark maroon long sleeve shirt with a low neck, and black jeans. I bent over and picked up the black commander boots on the floor. Walking into the changing room, I slipped on the tight-fitting shirt and skinny jeans. To my surprise, they fit perfectly. I laced up the boots, and stuffed the rest of the clothes into my bag.
I walked out of the Female fitting room, and into the narrow hallway. Awaiting me were my two team mates, standing next to each other. They were talking in hushed voices, and immediately stopped as I walked over.
"Look if we're teammates, you gotta trust me," I spat at them, and continued walking.
"Alright, everyone!" A loud noise came over the speakers. "It's time for step three! Launching time. This is where you will figure out where you'll be dropped and figure out a plan on how to win. Plan well."
