Talk - Gary

Gary had gone to the woods to think of which school he should go to and had apparently wandered further than he realised. When he saw the young girl in distress and the tree falling his gut instinct was to push her out the way.

Gary smiled, "you don't need to repay me..." He answered. Truthfully he didn't want anything other than to know her name. Rainbow's cheeks pinked slightly. He didn't want anything? Was it a test? "I guess there is one thing though..." He then realised, knowing she was about the age of a secondary school student. She looked around twelve and her wide eyes and pink cheeks definitely didn't help her look older. He saw her noticeably tense up. "I... uhh... just wanted to know if you could recommend me a school around here." He asked, trying to be casual even though he hadn't ever really talked with anyone his age sincerely.

"Umm... I guess SummerVille High but I've been in that area my whole life so I don't think I can help you." She responded, eyes tilted to the ground in a way which made it look like she was going to be scolded. He smiled at her timid nature. The real reason behind it was looking younger than she was to avoid arrest for magic practice, but it seemed like he hadn't noticed her sorcery earlier.

"Thanks, uh... I should be getting home so uh... do you want to walk back together?" He asked, realising that he was now really lost as Rainbow played with her hair nervously.

"Sure!" She smiled, recognising his problem. She hopped over the tree and looked at him expectantly. He smiled and followed after her, knowing that trusting a stranger was wrong but he had a gut feeling that she was trustworthy.
