Rainbow squirmed trying to get out of Gabrielle's tight grip. Gabrielle smirked she was easily stronger than her, just because Rainbow was stunted from an early age.
"Aww, poor Rwainbow dwoesn't have her bwig stwong Barry around to protect her!" Gabrielle mocked, using her baby voice. Rainbow grit her teeth, she could look after herself! She didn't need Barry or Dimond or Linda!
Then Gabrielle pulled her fist back and forcefully swung it at Rainbow. Now would be a great time for her magic to activate! Rainbow thought knowing that she should've learned how to control it by now. Her mother's mocking voice swirled around her mind. Then the impact came, and again and again...
"Don't even bother telling your nurse about who did this to you! You know my mum doesn't care about you!" Gabrielle threatened. It was true, in a way, Gabrielle was referring to the fact that the headteacher was her mother, meaning she got away with everything.
Gabrielle turned around and hit Rainbow against the wall a couple of times until they heard a crack. They stared at each other for a moment. Then Gabrielle dropped Rainbow, kicked her for good measure and ran off. Rainbow smirked, she hadn't broken anything... apart from a piece of dry pasta.
She lay on the floor waiting until she passed out as her eyelids fell heavy. Barry was going to love this, she thought, he was going to use this as an example of why she needed to stick with him. She groaned thinking about how hard he was going to laugh when he saw her beaten up face.
